GL/AMC: I take it no one saw this about Beth Elhers?

Beth Ehlers (Taylor, AMC, ex-Harley, GL) had a rude awakening recently when she headed over to GL to pack up her dressing room. "They wouldn't allow me in the building. They had revoked my credentials," Ehlers tells Soap Opera Weekly. For more on Ehlers and the real reason she's not playing AMC's Liza, pick up the July 8 issue on sale now.

They mentioned this in one of the other threads, can't remember which, but it is surely sickening. They put her on "requires escort" status around the studio. SO stupid.

^^^That is so true! LOL. Are they worried she is going to steal some of their crappy props. LOL.

Eh, it's not like she left on the best note as it is. It's hard for me to muster up sympathy here.

She left because the show is a disaster and everyone there seems to be treated the same way. Its not like she left in the middle of her contract. Her contract was up and she left.

Oh no she might try to steal something from the city dump! She might attack the troll that lives under the bridge where half our scenes take place!

The level of immaturity in daytime is astounding...

Actually, she extended her contract for a couple months so they could try and work something out and give Harley a fitting exit.

What did Wheeler think - that BE was going to steal GL's great scripts and take them to AMC?? lol. The level that Wheeler has sunk to is beyond comprehension.

It is worse.

She went in on a Sunday, trying to clear out in quiet.

Her KIDS were with her.

The guards wouldn't let her in. BE was close to crying. The guard felt bad for her and showed her that she was EXPLICITLY put on a list that said she needed an ESCORT. Someone consciously, actively put her on a list that said 'don't let her in the building'. After DECADES on the show.

Her 9-year old kid offered a moment of wisdom, though, that made it easier for her to detach:

"Mommy, I think the reason that they took away your ID is because they're mad you're not staying."

I don't know if it is Wheeler though. I'm getting the sense these things are more P&G.

This is in another thread here. I think Zendall Fan posted it.

But yeah. Bitter much Ellen? It's your fault that people are jumping ship.

I can't wait for Taylor to start airing!!

Do you know what that other thread is?

But is it ELLEN or someone at P&G. I'm just having a hard time believing it is Ellen.

If we are to believe it, both Ellen Wheeler and Chris Goutman have become evil tyrants...and I'm having a very hard time believing that.
