Does anyone else want Adrianna to inherit that Cramer woman mental madness illness

the women in Dorian's family suffer from?

I would've loved to watch her slowly go insane over her attempts to keep Rex and hide all of her lies. She should be Landview's young Annie Dutton. Alas, she's gone next week, right? Damn.

O.K., this show has been off the hook in the best possible way all week long.

May sweeps seemed to have become June sweeps, as the greatness continued and became even greater.

I think that Jessica's smackdown of Natalie was one of the most satisfactory things I have ever viewed in daytime. I just WORSHIP whoever decided to play the angle of having an enraged Jessica accuse Natalie of basically screwing over the family and indirectly killing Nash all for the sake of Jared's cock! This was brilliant, and the line "all because you were desperate to get layed" is like THE BEST THING EVER. And that slap was out-of-control! Also loved when Jess grabed Natalie and dragged her out of the room, and then the slamming door.

Because this is a soap, and it's fun to find shades of gray and to feel for characters you don't like, I have to say ............................. when Natalie said to Viki, "Please don't let her make you hate me too," I got choked up and did feel for her. Not because I think Jessica should forgive her, but because I could feel Nat's fear that her mother would turn on her, and I also thought it was true to character that Natalie would feel Jessica, the golden daughter, would have the power to turn Viki against her.

The next fabulous thing about this show is that it's rare that a soap can pull off two powerhouse confrontations in one day, but the Adriana-Dorian thing, although a little less INTENSE than Jessica-Natalie, was absolutely satisfactory and brilliantly-executed. Melissa Gallo actually rocked (and this is something I never say, LOL), and Robin Strasser has been divine all week.

When you think back to Dorian's takeover of B. E. on Tuesday, it seems so long ago! That's how much action has been packed into this magnificent week!

Oh, one more fine point with regards to the stunning writing on O.L.T.L. of late. I love how Ron et. al really KNOW the characters. Case in point: Adriana pointed out that Cassie and Kelly have gotten far away from Dorian, that Langston will do the same in the future, and that she (Adriana) is doing so now. She could have simply said "all your girls," but the writers were smart enough to have her leave out Blair, because I think we all know that Blair is ultimately the most loyal to Dorian and would probably be the last to dessert her.

FIVE STARS for this week. Performer of the week: Bree Williamson, with Robin Strasser nipping at her heels ... maybe I should call it a tie.

Can't wait for Viki and Charlie next week! Plus, Jared and Renee!

I agree, I like Bree and all, but Erin's the Jessica I have the most attachment to. I felt like I grew up with her, because we're like the same age and I watched her when she started on the show to her final day.

That's how it usually done in soaps from other countries, they let actors grow up with their characters, thus the audience has an attachment to them. I like that feeling.

I wish Erin would return to soaps...

An awesome episode to end an incredible week. I, for one, was not one bit let down by anything!

I feel so much for all of the characters...there's no one that I can truly say I hate right now. I just feel everything about everybody.

Everybody else has pretty much summed up the show, but I'm gonna put in some things I noticed. Ohhh, how I wanted to see Langston and Dorian together at the end. Right before Todd's dumbass punched through the kitchen door, Langston left to "go check on Dorian." I would have loved to see her go in there, find Dorian all vulnerable, possibly weeping, and then just be there for her. I want Dorrie to have at least ONE person to give her some hugs when she needs them. Not that she deserves hugs, mind you, but one would definitely do her a world of good.

I loved the way Dorian looked at Addie and said with such conviction, something like "I've ALWAYS wanted what's best for this family!" It felt to me like she was talking not just about the Cramers who are younger than her (Blair, Starr, Adriana, Kelly, River, Cassie, etc) but also about Addie and even Melinda. Dorian is the HBIC of this family and she sure as hell wasn't going to let all of them make her feel useless for putting the Cramer name on the map! Strasser sent chills through me when called out Adriana and told her that what she had sad was "a horrible, vicious lie." I don't even think those are the adjectives she used, but whatever she said, it pierced right through me.

I think Todd called his goon "Jeeves." Doesn't he use that as a derogatory name for all types of hired help?

Kudos to them for writing Jessica's pain realistically. Once Nash was in the hospital, I forgot all about the vineyard stuff, but today, when she told Viki about how she has to pack up everything at the vineyard and all that jazz, I realized exactly how painful this is all going to be for her. Not only does she have to watch her husband die and deal with all of that, but she also has to pretty much see his dream, this vineyard, something that was very much a part of him, just fade away. She's going to be a troubled person for a long time.

Of course, if this was AMC, she would have found Jared in the middle of the night, had wild sex with him while taunting him ("Come on, have sex with the dead man's wife! You KNOW you want to, Jared!"), and then in the middle of it all, Nash's ghost would pop up on the edge of the bed, watching and giving Jared tips on just what to do to really turn Jessie on. That is Megan McTavish's idea of "mourning."

    • Randy (Doug's friend who works for Joey) -- Joey told Randy weeks ago that Joey's plan was to get Doug into so much debt that Doug would be forced to get Vanessa's real estate holding turned over to Joey, to use for money-laundering.  That's been the plan all along, which the viewers knew.  The only thing new is that Joey finally told Doug this. I think Joey is written badly.  I also think Jon Lindstrom is doing "Now I am going to act menacing".   But I don't really feel the menace.  It's too overdramatic and it doesn't feel like a real person.  Jon is a fine actor on GH, so I don't know what's happening here -- the entire BTG mobster premise is badly designed/written.  I don't know if Guza pushed for a mobster storyline?  Or did Jon?  (Jon wrote a novel about Hollywood mobsters). It just doesn't fit.  It feels (to me) like this storyline for Jon was just shoved onto the canvas but it doesn't fit all all. Monday's scene of Mona coming into the "casino" to check up on where Leslie supposedly lost money in the slot machines -- and Randy explaining to Mona that there are no slot machines, there is nothing but the card room.  I had to laugh because they had characters comment that it's just a card room and not a casino.  I had to laugh that the show is now acknowledging that there's nothing there.  Or if they are going to do this, then have it make sense for Fairmont Crest residents to visit a high-end glamourous casino, and not a random room with one table. So what money is Joey laundering? A while back, Joey told Vanessa that he knows about her sexual philandering because owns the escort service that she'd been using. But I don't care...  I'd just prefer that the entire mobster storyline go away.
    • I caught up this past weekend. The show is better written, but I have been bored with the show. I did notice it ranked in the top 5 again this week, so that's a good sign.
    • I can't take this show seriously. I truly miss WJB writing this show. Bradley didn't inherit his dad's talent.
    • Maybe if there had been a good close up or two
    • I haven't had a chance to view the interview, but I'm glad Mike didn't get the part of Derek.  Derek is a badly written character. Any Ben Gavin screenshot from yesterday's show?
    • Wait, what? So, Martin’s not running for President anymore? Just like that?  I didn’t expect this storyline to be long term but I would’ve liked to see it play out for a little while longer, or at least until Martin’s secret was revealed. And definitely not fade out with a whimper. Sort of like Naomi’s lawsuit against Bill’s firm; what was the point of it all if it was just gonna wrapped up so easily and (probably) forgotten about?  Eva is still the breakout character though. I’m looking forward to seeing where she goes from here with everyone, especially if the twist that we’re all suspecting turns out to be true.  And I did find the gambling storyline interesting finally, now that we know Joey’s endgame. I’d like to see it play out and to see what happens to everybody involved in it.  As for Derek/Ashley… I wonder how it would’ve played out if they actually had cast Mike Manning as Derek. Yeah, the writing isn’t there but I imagine that Derek would have more of a personality lol and I also imagine that it would’ve made Ron Carlivati’s head explode

    • That would've been a good pick! She was great on B&B and like you said, she's already in Atlanta.

    • Oooo. I like the current actress, but that's a pretty great choice.
