According to many reports today was Passions final day of filming. The last episodes are schedualed to air on DirectTV in August. Let us all now bow our heads in rememberance of what was once the craziest soap on the air.

It's sad to see it go.

One of my favorite soaps ever.

I'm sad, but I've made peace about it being cancelled. I'm not going to go on hating the Today Show or anything.

It's been a fun ride.

Wow, its sort of weird to see this day come, even for Passions...

But, I hope the show has a good farewell, and the actors can find work soon.

Praise the Lord. Good things come to those that wait.

For me, it actually hasn't been that hard. Maybe it's because I've preparing for this ever since NBC announced it's cancellation in Jan 2007.

I can only imagine how disappointing the finale will be. JER had great ideas, but his pacing was terrible as were the scripts and most of the acting. Stories were dragged on for months and years and by the time we got a reveal you hardly cared. I wonder if he'll even bother doing a proper finale.

Next to AMC's B&E getting canned (if it happens), this could be the best soap opera news I have heard all year!

Hopefully Passions better actors can find work on other soaps.
