I really like today show. Annie & Ryan wasn't on & so we only was dealing with Zach, Kendall, Aidan, & Greenlee & they basicly was worried about Erica.

Frankie brought Colby new shoes. Which he got a hug for.

Then some other stuff dealing with Robert.

& whatever JR & Babe was talking about.

Glad to see Opal again. That's one good thing about B&E, they seem to respect the vets (Opal, Joe).

When the credits listed Kate Walsh, I got excited because I thought it was Kate Hall. lol I doubt that the real Kate Walsh would be writing scripts for All My Children during her downtime from Private Practice.

Today's show was good. Minimal airtime from the usual 4, that's a plus. Thank god for no Ryan and Annie, I am so beyond tired of them (however, I did like them yesterday :X)

Erica/Carmen has so much potential there. I think I'm going to like their story, but with B&E they could screw something up at any given moment.

Loved Jesse and Angie too. That was a nice touch having all the cops coming in and applauding Jesse.

Another message to Jacob Young: PLEASE CUT THAT MESS ON YOUR HEAD!!!

Best episode all week, imo.

It had a really good flow and nice blend of characters.

This was the first time Carmen didn't just bug the crap out of me. I liked Kendall's plea to Carmen intercut with the scenes at the convenience store.

I always love seeing Opal and her brief scene with Tad talking about Ray was good. As long as they keep Robert as Ray's brother, this storyline has potential to be great. I'm intrigued by what Robert wants now that he has the necklace.

Colby/Frankie just don't spark as a couple for me. I hope the writers stop it soon and bring Dre out of the attic for her.

The Angie/Jesse scenes at the police station were the highlight for me. Their love just shines through and their emotions were just kept under the surface. I just find them spellbinding to watch.

Mumbles & Greensnot being at the police station was pointless. Josh should have been there, ugh.

Please tell me that Greensnot did NOT say that she knows Erica better than anyone?

Loved Zen today.

I am floving David Rasche, he freaking rocks and I love to hate Robert

Jesse & Angie, enjoyed them today

She is the only one who has ever could!

Tarzan JR

I am just expecting him to one day dress in nothing more than a loincloth, swing from vines, and start yelling at the top of his lungs. Cut your hair already!

Erica and the lipstick

Okay what convenience store in America sells lipstick? Anybody?

Ok so I'm really enjoying this Carmen/Erica stuff. Carmen is funny - she reminds me of Hilda from Ugly Betty (voice mostly). Anyway - good stuff.

And I really love seeing more Opal...and I like Robert.

Glad that Jesse/Angie can finally be out, open, and happy -- for now.

That is all.

I really don't know why they keep Dre in hiding! If anything, I see a little triangle ensuing with handsome Frankie and pretty Dre fighting over Colby. Angie and Jesse's story is done (or almost done) so does this mean time on the backburner for them now?

    • I hope for a multi-year renewal, too! This is the only show I've been excited to see the next episode in forever. Considering their demos are quite decent. the initial episodes showed there is still an interest in daytime, and it has helped to boost the rest of the soap line up at times, it should be around for a while.

    • I agree.  How many times did we have to watch Bobby vs. J.R., or Blake vs. Alexis, knowing that nothing would change at the end, and that everything would go back to status quo, so that they could fight the same, exhausting battles all over again?  If nothing else, I give FC and KL credit for trying to keep things fresh, even if I think FC, in particular, went too far in the other direction and became unrecognizable even to the most diehard fans. Exactly.  Plus, because viewers were so burned out by the kind of serialized storytelling that was beginning to affect even half-hour comedies, I think MSW represented a nice change of pace.  You didn't have to watch every week, or watch from the beginning of each season, to know what was going on with Miss Fletcher.  Instead, you could watch a complete story in one episode, de-stress from whatever had happened in your own life last week, gear yourself up for the week ahead, and be okay. If you notice, though, there were differences between those two shows and what Aaron Spelling had produced in the past.  For one thing, there was a greater emphasis on youth; and while characters on 90210 and MP certainly had more disposable incomes than the average viewer, their wealth wasn't as opulent as what we'd seen on DYNASTY or on "Hart to Hart."  Even the battles among Alison, Amanda, Billy and others at that advertising agency weren't as histrionic as those between Denver Carrington and ColbyCo.
    • I saw a conversation yesterday with Liam with the 7 dwarves hat and Steffy -  I know she did not say re: Hope and Liam said - well look at Finn and you forgave him right?      I know I did not hear Steffy say “well but you can’t compare that to…”  For *uck sake someone call the bitch out!?     You’re right, we shouldn’t compare your forgiveness for the dude with devil spawn seed whose daughter locked you in a cage along with crazy stepmom/mom/Grandmother who has also SHOT YOU BOTH - and multiple murder attempts but you have to exist with them / Hope’s part in a takeover which you know was FAR LESS THAN CARTER BECAUSE HOPE IS NOT AN ATTORNEY…. Goodness no, no the same thing at alllllllll.   When they do Steffy’s absence at least let it be because they all find out what a manipulative ho she is in her own right.
    • I think a lot of us still agree with that. I do hope that the resurgence in the soap world with Beyond the Gates will push ABC to either bring back these shows or produce a newer one.
    • So, this was fun. Elsewhere, friendly to polls, a poll on what do you want to see at the Nurses Ball. The Gio reveal got 18%, for Blaze to return & sing also got 18%, for Jennifer Hudson to do a cameo & sing got 10% and for Lucy to lose various parts of clothing got 9% but the huge one was the reveal of Drew/Nina sex which got a whopping 45%!
    •   I liked the effect of the curtains closing. Yeah it was like the end of Act I.   Or maybe they are simply trying to emphasize the drama of the end of an episode -- instead of a random abrupt end that has happened in some prior episodes.
    • I posted this in the behind the scenes thread but I know this thread is busier so wanted to mention it here as well. During their instagram live yesterday, Daphnee Duplaix and Trisha Mann-Grant mentioned that they will find out this month if the show is renewed for another season. Just a heads up so we can keep an eye out for an announcement and keep our fingers crossed for a multi-year renewal!
    • They haven't explained the ownership of the Bistro, but Doug told Holly the other day he didn't get the job there. Basically Roman just hired Doug on the spot and gave him a room.  It was really nice of Roman.  I don't know if he knows who Doug is or that he stole Julie's necklace.  That was unclear-at least to me. ETA-I feel like the Bistro might just die and people will just pretend to order food there like Leo did today.  Sophia is on bed rest so no one works there anymore.  They can use that set for something else.
    • I'm not sure how I felt about it, but I do kind of like that it felt like the show telling us this concludes the first chapter of the series. Could be interesting if they only do it for big aftermath episodes. The biggest mistake with Martin is that it's almost hard to buy his anger because we've gotten no strong scenes with him and his parents. They've all been with Anita/Vernon. I can't even remember him ever even saying one word to Nicole, even in passing.
