This was a really great episode. Loved the balance, we saw pretty much everyone and non of the annoying characters hogged airtime(*cough* Annie *cough*).

I hate Rhonda already, she reminds me too much of Emily Valentine. Though I hope she breaks up Ethan and Annie, they've gotten rather boring IMO.

Adriana is love! Loved all her scenes with Constance, Naomi, Ty, and his parents. And at the end when she told the whole school she was pregnant and walked down the hall all confident while people made fun of her, I cheered.

So happy Dixon and Silver got back together, there the Dylan and Brenda on this show IMO(with Silver being Dylan and Dixon being Brenda).

I hope Debbie and Harry get their own story soon, I don't want to see them being Jim and Cindy'd.

Overall, I think the show has improved tremendously since the fourth ep, and I'm exited to see what else Rebecca Rand Kirshner can do.

I'm glad Silver and Dixon got back together.. I'm loving Ade and I'm glad she's becoming a bigger part of the show, personally. Really, really rooting for her.

TV Guide is reporting 90210 moves to 9PM starting next month? What's going on with the time switch, what about Privileged?

Another solid episode IMO, RRK is doing a great job!

Navid was such an ass at the beginning of the episode, but he saved himself at the bakery and when he asked Adriana to be his valentine at the end(I hope this means they're back together!).

LOL at Annie stealing Rhonda's story(which I think was totally fake BTW). Nice to see her doing something evil for a change, though she deserved Ethan breaking up with her. I don't like Rhonda or how Ethan just shrugged off the fact she lied to him about still being in pain from the accident.

Silver and Naomi were awesome! LOL at Silver and the fake British accent!

I like this Liam dude, and his chemistry with Naomi, but hate how they had him copy Dylan's first scene. Wasn't expecting him to be in high school.

Dixon & Silver  Though I had to lol at his reaction to her getting his name tattooed on her(I probably would have reacted the same way).

I can't believe the show is going on break until the end of March! :( Though the next episode looks really good.

Silver has been hating on Naomi big time since the show started but the minute she needs something she goes running to her acting all nice and fake? It would have been great to see Naomi tell her to get lost. And what a psycho. She seriously overreacted with that waitress

I liked Rhonda up until the end when she got all crazy over Ethan

Great valentine's day episode. I think I'm going to like Naomi and Liam together... I was just thinking she needed a new love interest. Guess that means they won't be bringing back Ozzie. He was sexy.

Silver! Going to Naomi for help.. getting a Dixon tattoo. Oh boy..

Annie stealing Rhoda's story was great, especially the moment that Ethan showed up. I love Ethan and Annie together, I think they'll be fine in the long run.

Navid and Ade!! So glad they made up. The 'Will you be my valentine' scene was so sweet.

March 31st?! Not another long break!

I thought Silver was acting out of character too Being friends with Naomi just like that? Being a love sick puppy all of sudden? That tattoo? What? Something's definitely up with her but where did this come from?

The Navid/Adrianna bedroom scene was definitely the best in the episode.

Yay! RRK is staying on as showrunner!

Regime change at CW's '90210'

Rebecca Rand Kirshner Sinclair is taking a permanent residence in the 90210 ZIP code.

On the heels of the freshman CW show's renewal, Sinclair has inked a new seven-figure deal with "90210" producer CBS Par and has been tapped to serve as executive producer/showrunner on the high school drama for the next two seasons.

Sinclair joined "90210" as an exec producer in September, when she inked a two-year overall deal with CBS Par.

Under the pact, she was to run the writers room this season, working alongside exec producers/showrunners Gabe Sachs and Jeff Judah, then segue into development while serving as a consultant if "90210" returned for a sophomore year.

With her new deal, Sinclair has been given the show's reins through the 2010-11 season.

Sachs and Judah likely will depart at the end of this season.

At the studio and network, Sinclair had emerged as the clear choice to run the show because she is credited with elevating "90210" creatively since coming aboard. But she said the decision to stay on was not easy.

"I wasn't even considering it until almost a month ago," Sinclair said. "I was sure that absolutely, positively there was no way back."

Sinclair came to "90210" as a big fan of the original. She was the same age as the class from the Fox series. She cut her bangs the same way as Brenda (Shannen Doherty) and even went to her prom in the same dress Brenda and Kelly (Jennie Garth) wore to theirs.

But Sinclair admits her early experience on the CW series was rocky.

"I felt the show was confused and too cynical for me," she said.

But something happened around the making of Episode 17, which will mark the show's return to originals March 31, in its new 9 p.m. Tuesday slot.

"I started to see my voice," Sinclair said. "I found myself invested in the potential of the show. I want to change it; I want to make it good. It has the potential to be an iconic, modern, stylish teen drama."

Like the CW's East Coast fashion trend-setter "Gossip Girl," "90210" will tap much deeper into California style and fashion next season, according to Sinclair.

While she hinted that the season finale will feature surprise visits from "Beverly Hills, 90210" alums, don't expect a lot of that next season.

While the character of Kelly is organic to "90210's" setting and Sinclair admits she loves Tori Spelling's Donna, who will appear later this season, "the goal is for this show to emerge on its own," she said. "It's time to take off the training wheels and let this show ride by itself."

As for the show's core cast, producers are figuring out whether all of the characters will come back, the UTA-repped Sinclair said.

I hope so.

Annie/Ethan/Dixon/Silver/Naomi all are so unique from eachother. I love it. My only issue is i still dont have a good feel on who Dixion and Annie are. The show spent a lot of time to create Naomi, Silver, and Ethan and did it amazingly well. Time to do the same on Dixon & Annie.

'90210' shocker: Leading man Milligan to exit

dustinmilligan_l.jpg

90210's new boss lady, Rebecca Rand Kirshner Sinclair, recently told me that the soap's second season would be "significantly" different than the first, and, man, she wasn't kidding.

Sources confirm to me exhttp://popwatch.ew.com/photos/uncategorized/2009/03/30/dustinmilligan_l.jpgclusively that Dustin Milligan, who plays affable jock (and one half of 90210's central super couple) Ethan, won't be returning to the show in the fall -- at least not full time.

Reps for The CW and producer Paramount declined comment, but a 90210 insider confirms that Milligan's contract option is not being picked up for next season. The source adds that the door is being left open for the actor to briefly appear in the fall to wrap up Ethan's story.

All indications are that Milligan's exit was strictly a creative decision. "Everyone loves Dustin," maintains the insider. "There was just a feeling that the character had run its course." (Curiously, the news comes just days after Milligan's newbie co-star, Matt Lanter -- a.k.a. bad boy Liam -- confirmed that he was being promoted to a series regular next season.)

The departure of one the show's most high profile leading men is the clearest indication yet that Sinclair's ongoing reboot of the reboot will be anything but minor. Viewers will get their first taste of the Gilmore Girl alum's new vision when 90210 returns from its winter hiatus this Wednesday with a hilariously campy outing that features the primetime soap trifecta: stalkers, street-racing, and scenery-chewing!

Looking ahead to season 2, Sinclair said last month that she wants to "reconceive things visually. There are opportunities to embrace California culture visually in terms of fashion and style; I want it to be more contemporary.

"If Gossip Girl is about youth in New York," she elaborated, "I want to [make 90210] about youth in L.A. and Beverly Hills."

The writer-producer also plans to rely less on 90210 vets such as Jennie Garth, Shannen Doherty, and Tori Spelling to boost ratings. "The show tried to be a lot of things to a lot of people in its first season," she conceded. "I think the center lies with the generation of kids that are in high school now. I'm not interested in casting people for stunt value."

Sinclair, who replaces original show-runners Jeff Judah and Gabe Sachs, said the show will benefit from having a singular vision. "The advantage of having one person -- me -- [in charge] is that scripts, what happens on the set, casting... it all speaks in one voice."

Thoughts on Sinclair's new 90210? Waiting to pass judgment until you see this season's remaining episodes? Is the loss of cute-but-boring Ethan a step in the right or wrong direction? Sound off below!

Oh wow! That's pretty big. I'm glad RRKS is shaking things up. I'm still waiting for more bonding/friendship scenes/group episodes and I want the show to take more risks. I also like that RRKS wants to show more of Beverly Hills - one of the things about GG is the NY outdoor scenes.

I actually dont want that. at all. i still dont buy them all as one big group of friends. they need to go back to not everyone getting along and understanding eachother. teenagers are not like that.

What? No! I hate this news. Ethan's one of my favorite characters.. love Annie and him together.

And I'm not against bringing back Spelling, Garth, and Doherty at all. I think it's exciting, I hope we keep getting more recurring appearances from the girls next season.

Wow Silver. What a PSYCHO! I thought she was going to pull a gun or knife on Ryan. She's the Emily Valentine of this series

Wow, great episode tonight!

Jessica Stroup was absolutely amazing! Best actress on the show IMO. That cliff hanger was crazy!(and did anyone else notice Ryan's apartment looked a lot like Melrose Place? Hmmm, wonder why...........) Next week looks awesome!

Naomi and Liam are hot! AnnaLynne and Matt have great chemistry.

Shenae Grimes wasn't too bad in the Ethan & Annie breakup scenes.

Loved the Debbie and Harry scenes, glad LL and RE aren't just being used to react to what the kids do

LOL at that guy calling Adriana Juno
