If Frons doesn't get fired soon after these numbers then I think it's safe to say nobody above him is looking at daytime and he will never be fired.

But he should have been fired before in late 2006 when the ABC soap numbers were all awful and it didn't happen. So I have little faith it will happen now.

I was thinking the same thing. Why the big jump on Monday. Then I remembered it was the Angie and Jesse reunion. After that everyone tuned out again.

It is obvious what is bringing in the ratings for ATWT. I thought Craig's blowing up Paul's car would do better. But I think fans are sick to death with Paul and Meg.

Most of the soaps got huge bumps on Monday because of the Presidents Holiday..thats why Days and AMC got 2.5's..but AMC's audience tuned out during the week, while Days got 2.4 on thursday and friday..GREAT dallies..

Days has been a very good show lately. I'm happy that it is being rewarded in the ratings. Of course, it's three weeks in a row of improving ratings for Days. That is the kiss of death.

I hope AMC doesn't get a bump, it doesn't deserve it. Even though the J&A stuff is fairly good(crap writing that D&D make work), the rest is a clusterfuck of sucktitude

I agree that the rest of the show does need a total overhaul. I love JR but that dichotomy of good vs evil that pretty much shapes my love for him and has me rooting for the good to win out has been non existant in this latest storyline. Actually, can I even really call it a storyline? They are half-assing the battle with Adam, half-assing the conflict with Ritchie and half-assing the reconnect with Babe (for the trillionth time). I love Zach and Kendall so don't even get me started on that story. I'll never stop typing. I'm not a Greenlee fan but if she has to be around, I miss the spunk and fire that she used to have. I thought maybe it was missing during the SS days because Rebecca Buddig was just so good at the smirky, know-it-all aspect of Greenlee but even with RB back, there's just something missing. Sorry ABC, the REAL Greenlee still isn't back. The Ryan crapfest? Yeah, I tried to renew my faith in Ryan and I was ALMOST there because I was beginning to really enjoy that big nuclear family with Ryan, Annie, Zach and Kendall but now Ryan's treatment of Annie just makes me want to punch him in the whites of his eyes.

BUT I can say, Jessie being back has renewed my Tad love. I love the J&A stuff so much but dang it if I didn't miss the friendship between Tad and Jesse just as much. I count my blessings for that!!

LOL AMC's highest rated day is a holiday and when J&A are together, and the second highest rated day is a FAMILY ORIENTED DAY pretty much, Spike's implant being turned on and what not. LMFAO the couple switching crap is killing the rest of the ratings *snort*

I am not only happy that DAYS went up, but that *all* the soaps are up. Last thing we need is for all soaps to go down. Although I am still up in arms with DAYS at the moment, as I am honestly not *blown away* yet by the material, I feel it will only get much better as these new stories progress! I wasn't familiar with Tamara Braun on GH, but boy do I love her at DAYS. Finally, somebody to do some serious scheming or...something. It seems like its actually starting to get back to the show I recognize, so lets hope these numbers continue. It can only give TPTB greater motivation!

All soaps are up because Monday was a holiday. Soaps always go up when one day of the week is a holiday.

I am so pleased by these ratings for Days! I'm happy for all of the soaps' ratings.

Soapsuds, IMO I think AMC would have hit a 2.0 at least. That 2.5 that Monday is the ONLY reason they managed that 2.2

I don't like wishing for any soaps to fail, but AMC is reaping what it has sewn. There is NO reason for AMC to be the clusterfuck that it is
