The Santeen saga, while it explained(stupidly) the whole Brady/DiMera feud(however the whole feud was because Roman stopped Stefano's crime ring and Stefano thinks Bo and Hope killed Megan Hathaway), screwed up alot of history on Days. At this point, I'd say John is probably several years older than Tony and even Roman. If Stefano met Daphne when he was in mid-late teens, then Daphne could have had the affair with Enrico soon enough and given birth to Tony while they were teenagers. Honestly with the church that Shawn Sr. was raised in...I don't know if he'd sleep with someone during his teenage years...so its safe to say that John is YEARS older than Roman, as screwy as that is.

And about Stefano being the seventh son or not, I honestly don't know. The most ridiculous part is that while they were implying that Stefano was Santo's only son while Andre was on the show running around wildly! And it destroys the whole method that made Stefano the Phoenix.

He should have stayed Roman, or at the very least Forrest Alamain. Those ships have sailed, but still. After he turned into all those other people...it just got ridiculous.

Stefano would still be the seventh son because John is his younger brother. Also, Colleen said that Stefano never knew that John was his half-bro - I wish that weren't true though because it would make more sense if Stefano DID know.

I think that might be a flaw with the ones writing this show right now. It makes no sense that Stefano didn't know about John. Colleen was trying to protect her grandchildren and great-grandchild from Stefano. What was the point if Stefano didn't know they were related to him. I've always believed Stefano knew...from the time he first made John his pawn. It all fits...I don't know why the writers didn't get that.

Stefano would still be the 7th son he was born before John and we saw him running around during the summer months of the Santeen story and John was born after Colleen faked her death which I think Colleen talked about last week.

Yep, its why Stefano is the Phoenix, and why none of his other brothers(including John, most likely) cannot be the Phoenix.

This may be one reason why the DiMeras always have so many children, LOL. To get seven sons or something, perhaps. Just pure speculation on my part, though.

Well, that is true, but Andre is a total nutcase, who ignores every single fact to think that he is Stefano's rightful heir.
