I haven't watched General Mobspital since 1998. But I Love Brown as Carly. She tore into this role like a pitbull chews into a steak. GH would be stupid to make her anyone but Carly.

I would watch the show some again if she came back on as Carly. She adds a grit to this role that I've missed. Carly was one of the important characters for GH in the 90's, and the show has been empty without her.

I still can't see it working her playing anyone but Carly. Maybe they'll let LW go when her next contract cycle is up, and Sarah will take over the role, and maybe later they'll bring on LW as a new character or something........

I really think that's what they should do, except for the letting LW go part. Soap fans have sat through campier things than having actresses exchange roles. They should bring LW on as Carly's half sister through Durant. Have her cut her hair short and change her look or something. Then give SBr the Carly role back.

^I wouldn't be surprised if Guza rewrote history AGAIN and made it look as if Bobbie gave birth to TWINS, and blocked out it out of her consciousness. Of course that would require some airtime for Jackie Zeman, which will NEVER happen. Then again, they're good enough to tell a story like that WITHOUT Bobbie.

If Sarah's a new character, it better be one hell of a story, or else they're setting themselves up for a colossal FLOP.

With all the viewing of the past great Carly clips, I can I say I want Sarah Brown back in this role....

I think I read in this community that the actress who's playing Skye (Robin Christopher?)wants out of her contract. Do you think TIIC has hired SB to stepped into the shoes of Skye Chandler-Quartermaine-Alcazar?

Hmmm. Might work. But if GH were to re-cast Skye, they should go with a prior great re-cast of Skye---Carrie Genzel.

Steve Burton said at a fan event today that Sarah would not be playing Carly.

I'm just glad Sarah is coming home to soaps. She will always be Carly to me, but the character of Carly has evolved so much from when she was on, Im not sure I want her in that role. I like Laura Wright as the "new" Carly. Sarah definetly deserves to be on soaps and if ABC was smart they should have lured her to AMC, I think she is what that show needs, a capable young actress who can hold her own and go head to head with Lucci, Canary, and Knight.

I agree that ABC should've tried to lure Sarah Brown to AMC. She would've made a killer Greenlee or maybe even Babe!

I can't see Sarah playing Skye, as talented as she is, IMO she'd be miscast in that role.....

She's WAY too young to play Skye or Marty as well. Let's not forget that Sarah is still the youngest actress to EVER portray Carly on GH. Hard to believe as the character never had more emotional maturity than when Sarah was playing her.

Rumor has it that Sarah will be playing Angela Z, Jonny's sister and is Ric's ex. She'll work with Sonny and Jason to get her father's business away from Jonny because she hates Trevor.

That would make sense is Sarah only wants to commit to six months or a year, I guess. I just hope she doesn't end up hooking up with Sonny again. She was always too young for him, never more so than now. It would be nearly as bad as seeing Mo with Natalia.

To put it into perspective, Natalia is about a year younger.
