I'm looking forward to nuDallas and Bonnie as well, who I missed last Monday. This is probably the only day of the week I'm interested in with the Holden/Lily/Dusty stuff. I FF everything with Carjack and the quad of doom with Rosanna, Craig, Meg and vile Paul.

Eh...inappropriate chemistry between Bonnie and Dallas. And why does Bonnie have to hustle clients, if she's taking over Jess' cases?

GMAB....Cherie was writing to Noah all that time??? Then why was Winston surprised that she was in Oakdale? Totally random development to give Noah something to do.

Why is Dusty talking like he and Em were hot an heavy in a "relationship"??? From what I remember, they had barely kissed before that all blew up...they've never even made love.

Lily/Holden....Snooze. This is their 100th near divorce.

Furthermore, if she's desperate for work, why does she keep asking Holden if he's sure about the divorce? You'd think she'd tell him he has a great case, and present ways to slaughter Lily in court.

I'm pretty fed up with the saga of Meg and Paul. The way they keep bumping into each other is cringe inducing. It was bad enough at the wedding, when they JUST HAPPENED to sit DIRECTLY across from each other in their pews. The whole damn plot is just an excuse for uncomfortable glances and regurgitated platitudes. I wish Emma would develop a mean streak and team up with Barbara to keep them apart.

Way too many instances of elapsed time today. Trying to change the pace and execution of scenes is admirable, but having someone instantly appear in a different location when other people don't is jarring, let alone an example of how stories could move a lot faster if TPTB made them.

Me too...it's just too much for me to buy into their desperate love, when Meg's lying to Craig, and obviously willing to stay with him if Paul's not the father, and Paul is being such a jerk to Rosanna. I cheered when she went medieval on his hiney.

The best one with with Craig confronting Rosanna...I literally jumped when he just appeared and started barking at Rosanna. Sigh...TIIC missed the boat. I would have loved to see more Craig/Ro.

Today's show was so so. It had it moments....like Nuke and Noah. Em and Dusty are getting boring real fast. Why Dusty would want her is beyond me. It looks like once someone is gone...the baby fiasco will be even more boring than it is already. Boring seeing Meg eyeing Paul on the side....lame....lame..lame...and too repetitive.

nuBonnie and nuDallas both suck! nuBonnie talks like she has a mouth full of marbles and he just isn't cute and can't act either. Since it looks like they may pair Bonnie with Holden, I wish they'd just recasted Jessica with someone like Victoria Rowell. This actress isn't good enough to be paired with Jon Hensley. I also don't think she's good enough to carry on Duncan and Jessica's legacy. I loved the previous Bonnie, although the character was very annoying. And the talk of Issac, Jessica and Sarah just reminds me of how strong ATWT's African-American presence was.

Dusty and Lily continue to rock for me. This is pretty much the only thing I'm watching for now.

Bright spot for me today was learning that Luke has a dirty mind  The look he gave know when Noah said they should do something physical was priceless. Can't wait for Lily and Dusty. The Quad stuff had its moments, but Meg just ruins that. Emily and Dusty suck as a couple I liked them at first but way to boring.

I think the new Dallas can act, but today's script was far from a showcase for his talent. It's funny how Bonnie still plays the duchess, using feminine wiles to scan police files for clients. What the show needs to do is find an actress who looks like she has a black and a white parent. That's what casting directors do, evaluate people's looks. But the second time around, they still got it wrong. Maybe Jordin Sparks and Mariah Carey have to show up at ATWT so TPTB can get it together. The new actress comes off as an ex-model more than anything else. She might be too pretty! I expected richer performances since she's a Broadway veteran. It's also hard to take her seriously with that bad wig. :o

    • After watching the performances tonight I can't understand why Finland and Malta are seen as some of the favourites. Finland's song is not one of the best this year and I maintain that Miriana Conte who represents Malta is a poor singer. My guess is that it's because of the controversial nature of both these songs. I'm not all that impressed with Austria either. But France on the other hand emerged as a big contender tonight. A beautiful song, a wonderful singer and fantastic staging. Greece also had a spectacular stage show which definitely enhanced their chances. I guess it's part nostalgia factor but I really want Luxembourg to go through to the final as well. I love the homage to France Gall and Laura Thorn sold the song very well. Much better than in the clip from the national final.
    • The older Ted was more unlikeable. The character came across warmer and mo sympathetic today whereas the older one portrayed him with a dark side. Thats why I said his scenes with Leslie will tell alot bc thats where he comes across the most like a villain and had me feeling bad for her at times
    • I completely agree @Soaplovers with your excellent comment.  And the bold, confident Stephanie we saw in her previous incarnations would be a much better match for Alex than the one trying to play house too soon. Let’s not forget: Alex came on the scene as a walking red flag with a gym membership—dodging commitment in love and work. And now he’s out here giving career advice? From a man whose last job was playing a soap star no one in Salem has even heard of? Sir. What I’d love is for Stephanie to be a genuine challenge for him—not someone who bends to his charm, but someone who knows she’s the prize. She’s a free agent in Salem: no ex-husband drama, no kid in tow, no awkward family entanglements. Let her be more like Kayla now—centered, respected, and not here for games—than Kayla was when she was falling off motorcycles with Steve. The next great Salem love story shouldn't be about chemistry alone. It should be earned—like Patch and Kayla, Shane and Kim, or even Bo and Hope on their best days. Give us slow burn, mutual respect, and a Stephanie who makes him level up.
    • It's looking like I may be in the minority, but nuTed is a major improvement to me. I agree, it will take a few days to get used to the higher pitched voice and smaller stature, but his acting is so much better. I can feel the emotions in his voice and face and it just feels more real and natural.  Kat was great today too, giving us the tears and her softer side. Loved Leslie/Bill - we need more of this!  Did y'all notice Leslie's snake necklace?? So creepy, but fitting for her haha. Tomorrow should be an updated intro with Keith, unless they repeat the second one for days until they get it updated.

    • It was all about Gio today, boys

He was really sweet and dorky though, and I enjoyed the violin lol. And he looked good too  I'm speculating that the big reveal will happen at Gio's birthday party. It's definitely time. But yeah, he really should've gotten advice and encouragement from someone, from anyone other than Sonny though. And while I understand where Dante is coming from, he was a little annoying today again. They really needed to establish this tension and anger a lot sooner than now, or not do it at all. Plus, this had already been done with Mac/Cody, Nina/Willow, etc., and honestly, it doesn't seem necessary here.  As for Lucky and Liz, as much as I like angsty couples, I'm still concerned about what Frank may (or may try to) do with them. The biggest reason why Lucky is like a 'cowboy' is because this friggin guy spent the better part of a decade basically erasing him from existence.
    • True, lol. IIRC, Rita Moreno said in an interview that part of the problem was that Susan Harris was ill during the week they taped that episode and therefore was unable to make needed script changes.  I wonder what might have happened had they been able to delay the taping until she felt well enough to work more on the script.  I feel like "Nest" might've sold with Moreno and Paul Dooley (although the patient with DID would've needed to be eighty-sixed regardless, lol).
    • What is the most recent episode in which Maurice Johnson's Ted wore a turtleneck?
    • They had a Liam/Hope montage today supposedly about all their times together but it was only Annika's Hope and no scenes from Kim Matula's Hope.  I realize they probably didn't want to restage those scenes with Annika. But still it was weird to omit the Italian wedding.  They could have thrown in a Puglia scenery pic without the actors.
    • I haven't watched today's episode yet, but maybe that was the point. Maybe they're trying to move Ted in a more unlikable/villain direction and it wouldn't work with the previous actor. Or maybe it's just that transition phase which will take some getting used to.
