Y&R: Latham is STILL ripping off other soaps

I feel like I'm getting deja vu, watching this stuff with Victoria, it's basically a rip off of Kendall's coma storyline from AMC

What's worse: the fact that LML rips off from AMC, or the fact that she can't be bothered to rip off one of their better stories?

AMC is supposedly so bad, but the #1 soap has to steal their storylines

I liked Kendall's coma for the most part, Victoria's is just meh

Sorry hon, it isn't "supposedly" bad.

And, stealing storylines has nothing to do with quality. Quality shows steal storylines too.

And no-one said Y&R is good--what, because it's #1 it means that they shouldn't steal storylines? :D

LoL!!!

#1 soaps shouldn't HAVE to steal anything......

Y&R is mostly a snoozefest these days

Oh, I absolutely agree with you--but, Latham is writing it so...

And, yes, I use Y&R to put me to sleep, I have to admitt....

I don't see how Victoria's story is anything like Kendall's. Comas are a soap staple and they needed some way to write out AH. Until JT has himself locked in Victoria's room with a gun  , while everyone else is made to look like a fool to prop him, the comparison will be lost on me.

Honestly, if you look at any of LML's it seems like a direct copy of previous stories she's done. I don't believe anything is planned on this show. She just throws garbage to the wall and see's what sticks.

Did Victoria also TALK while she was in her coma? I did not like that part about Kendall...I love her and all but sometimes she just needs to shut up ;)

I think it has to do with someone barracading the room with a gun....if they throw in the angelic patron saint of Genoa City to lend a hand (as they did on AMC with St. Bianca returning to spread her words of wisdom and use that pixie dust of hers), then it will clearly be a ripoff ;)

I have no idea since I do not watch Y&R

Where once did I say that this is not the first time someone's gone in a coma on soaps?

It's a direct rip off of Kendall's coma  Victoria or the baby, Kendall or the baby, sound familiar? baby not developed enough to be born...........

I keep expecting JT or Brad to barricade themselves in her room......

^ And if they do I'll agree it's a rip off, but the life of mother or child and coma stories were not new to AMC or Kendall.
