Welcome to the One Life to Live Discussion Thread for the week of October 29th, 2007. It looks to be a great week on OLTL, as we Tonja Walker and Tuc Watkins return as Alex and David, "Death" visits Llanview, and so much more! Hope you enjoy your visit and are prepared to discuss the interworkings of Llanview, PA and OLTL. If so, then you're in the right place.

So let the discussion of the good, bad, and ugly that is Llanview, Pennsylvania & One Life to Live begin...

Can anyone keep me up to speed about the last three OLTL eps? I missed them and I have no way to see them... :(

If someone is willing, just generally, I know a lot of things must have happened. Mostly about Vikki and Todd/Marcie stories :).

I really enjoyed the show today.

Of course the Paris crew was my favorite. It's so good to see Viki finally happy and enjoying her life, and I really am liking Gigi, at least she's getting Viki to talk about her feelings and her life.

As much as I didn't think I'd like the Marcie/Drag Queens thingy, it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be, it was actually kinda funny.

Can't wait for Blair to find out that Rex and Adriana have known for a while now that Tommy was Todd's, they need to pay as much as Michael does in keeping that secret.

Have to shake my head at Renee, I mean this is usually a very smart woman and I can't believe she is not seeing Jared (whom I really like) for what he is, a con man. Although I loved the interaction between Renee and Natalie today.

For me, the one thing that I could do without is Todd and John in the car.

I can forgive Renée. She's in mourning and unbalanced. Her attraction to Jared is icky and compelling at the same time. Maybe I'm just happy to see more of her.

Can't stand John or Todd but am willing to endure them as the story moves forward.

At first, I wasn't feeling this drag queen/Marcie plot point... but I have to say, that it's actually way better than I thought. I like how they connected it to Eric, and how they are protective of her and Tommy. Harvey and Lee was too funny.

As for Todd and John, really? Why do they need to be seen in the car arguing? I mean, Todd is an ass who only thinks of himself, and John is just plain annoying.

I really not feeling the whole Paris thing.

Well, not a whole lot of movement really, imo Vikki has a customer that GiGi is encouraging her to flirt with. I think he knows who she really is, but that's just my guess. He's moving into the hotel V is staying at.

Todd and John are in the car arguing about if Todd can be a good parent. Meanwhile, the FBI agent is on Marcie's trail, but she is saved by drag queens. Blair is trying to be Langston's foster mother, but Todd doesn't know yet.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

The Paris Storyline is getting really interesting, isn't it?

Oh, and did everyone catch the fact that they are going to TEXAS for Asa's will? Oooh, something tells me some ol', good-fashioned soap run-in will occur. :D :D :D

Maybe it's lack of sleep talking but I loved today's show. And I am no fan of drag queens.

I even enjoyed the teens, John and Todd, but most of all I loved the frenetic pacing. Not every episode should be like this, but one or two here and there is a great upbeat change.

Even the fantasy elements had me. It's been a long time since I've liked Melissa Archer as much as I did in that witch costume. David Fumero needs to do more scenes that take advantage of his laid back style (or lack thereof).

And as of today, I officially love Justus Bolding's version of Sarah. She reminds me of a very young version of Julie Harris.

John Brotherton as Jared? Loved him. Message to PTB: Don't overexpose him like you did with Michael Easton.
