If you're tired of this discussion, why don't you read the OTHERS? There's like 700 on this board.

And like any normal human being, I certainly do prefer some people over others.

Since I like the Jewish faith and have been married to a Jew, I like the ones who claim their heritage

more than those who try and hide it.

I don't think my opinion is odd or strange, it's just HONEST.

I'd suggest you walk a little more softly with that one. Jewish names have been transformed over centuries for a variety of reasons. Often names indicated the career/trade/station in life of the bearer and were merely translated upon entry into a new country. Hence names like Miller, Silversmith, etc.

North American immigration authorities were notorious for simplifying/shortening Jewish names on entry, even ones that sounded somewhat English. Names like Goldwasser were shortened to Gold.

Others have changed their names and denied their heritage to avoid persecution. I can't blame them for that.
