I see nothing exceptional and unbelievable in this, nor shocking for that matter - the shows have been written for the month of January, but someone has to fuel the stories beyond that and WGA writers cannot do it. So - hire the scabs now and let them write for February, March...

AW, poor jealous non-talented Vee.

I would agree with you if it wasn't for the fact that she's in DENMARK

where her book just went #1

http://www.thumperscorner.com/discus/messa...html#POST110015

Wow, a few weeks ago, she won the writer's pen in Sweden.

Now her book is #1 in Denmark.

Is this becoming a pattern?

Anyway, I doubt she's thinking about the soaps according to an Ex-WOST member

who recently set me straight. Her literary career is in pretty high gear and that

pays a heck of a lot more than soap writing.

OH WOW VEE! LOOK-IT,

She's even bigger in Nigeria and South Africa this month:

I doubt she's using her time in Denmark to write daytime soaps.

As much as I partly agree with you, Vee is seriously starting to piss me and some other people off. TC Greene not included. With all his negative vibrations vibrating around... If you don't like SON, go elsewhere and annoy other people. Or start writing that damn soap opera pilot.

One Tree Hill 12 episodes, that is bullshit. Just my luck, after CW confirmed they will have 22 episodes they get 12. Come on, let this dam strike be over. This strike better be over soon. God writers, get a life.

This strike better be over soon, i am sure after the strike is over, Mark Schwahn will give us 10 more episodes. DAM WRITERS

^ Oh we're sorry that OTH will not be shown in full after all. See, the writers are actually fighting for what is theirs, and when all is said and done, they'll be lucky if they have a job to go back to. They are fighting for principle. For fairness. But you know what? They will drop those picket signs and pen more episodes of whiny teen angst JUST for you. Because out of all the fans that are bitching and moaning, YOU are the one they care about pleasing.

PLEASE! There are more important things to worry about. The foreseeable future of the entertainment community perhaps?

Just a thought. <_<

yea, they should drop this strike to please me. Well i dont watch that much tv, there is only 3 shows i watch. GH, DOOL and OTH. Well GH is safe because they have a scab writer and i hope DOOL get one too, hell they may be better then sheffer. lol

i write days for free

What is theirs hey, WOW DVD production. Sorry writers the dvd sales are not yours, its for the fans. They just write what happens on the show, they don't own the show. Heck i will be days writer for free and focus on characters i want to.

I bet Cordy would let me Write days if i go to his office and ask him. I got some good ideas for days like starting up a mob war. Put Chelsea and Stephanie on 5 days a week along with EJ and Sami. Give Stephanie a STD scare while pregnant. Redeem Ford Decker and hook him up with Stephanie and many more good stuff.

give EJAMI an nice adventure of romance. Yea i would be the best writer days would get

    • It was all about Gio today, boys

He was really sweet and dorky though, and I enjoyed the violin lol. And he looked good too  I'm speculating that the big reveal will happen at Gio's birthday party. It's definitely time. But yeah, he really should've gotten advice and encouragement from someone, from anyone other than Sonny though. And while I understand where Dante is coming from, he was a little annoying today again. They really needed to establish this tension and anger a lot sooner than now, or not do it at all. Plus, this had already been done with Mac/Cody, Nina/Willow, etc., and honestly, it doesn't seem necessary here.  As for Lucky and Liz, as much as I like angsty couples, I'm still concerned about what Frank may (or may try) to do with them. The biggest reason why Lucky is like a 'cowboy' is because this friggin guy spent the better part of a decade basically erasing him from existence.
    • True, lol. IIRC, Rita Moreno said in an interview that part of the problem was that Susan Harris was ill during the week they taped that episode and therefore was unable to make needed script changes.  I wonder what might have happened had they been able to delay the taping until she felt well enough to work more on the script.  I feel like "Nest" might've sold with Moreno and Paul Dooley (although the patient with DID would've needed to be eighty-sixed regardless, lol).
    • What is the most recent episode in which Maurice Johnson's Ted wore a turtleneck?
    • They had a Liam/Hope montage today supposedly about all their times together but it was only Annika's Hope and no scenes from Kim Matula's Hope.  I realize they probably didn't want to restage those scenes with Annika. But still it was weird to omit the Italian wedding.  They could have thrown in a Puglia scenery pic without the actors.
    • I haven't watched today's episode yet, but maybe that was the point. Maybe they're trying to move Ted in a more unlikable/villain direction and it wouldn't work with the previous actor. Or maybe it's just that transition phase which will take some getting used to.
    • Thanks to the benefits of watching the last weeks of Sherry's stint as Liza and the start of Louan's stint as Liza... I can safely say that Liza would have remained the lead heroine had Sherry stayed on as Liza.   Charisma is a mighty important element that makes someone watchable and likable... and Sherry had that. No disrepect for Louan because she was a good actress.. but to me, she played a more passive/neurotic Liza vs the more confident/decisive version of Liza.  I think the Liza vs Estelle over TR story would have had more impact with Sherry in the role..imho.
    • Welcome @SoapCurios it is nice to see new people here. Many episodes from The City still aren't available, but if I find any that touch on Azure's story, I will post them.
    • I'm not invested in Ted as a character anymore either. He's not the same.
    • I have a feeling it was either coincidence or it was an idea whose time had come. Remember Bill Bell was also into the psycho-sexual. So it was happening more than one place. Pete Lemay began disagreeing with Irna quite early on. He shut up & listened at first, naturally because he had to learn the basics. But, as soon as he had, they began to have arguments, disagreements. They both were devotees of character-driven but the similarities stopped pretty quickly. Bolin as far as AW was concerned was nuts & bolts, or more $$$. It was all about the numbers. And the numbers were great, double the ad revenue & that went to the network. As far HTSAM was concerned, that was her baby, no one else's. It is so funny to me that Lemay started this by accident.
