It's early but Kim is holding her own...she looks good.  Given Garbine has improved recently...Kim isn't serving well and I've never seen The Mug serve better.  For the first outing to be able to play with a top player means that Kim will be dangerous if she sticks with this.

Kim played well. She had her chances but looked rusty of course. She needs to get into tennis shape. It was nice to see her on the court again.

She really did and you can tell her fitness isn't there yet. Still to have 11 or 12 double faults and Mug had like 7 or 8 aces and still  be in the match - I think this comeback will be successful.

The last time Kim came back, she took the US Open.  She will get at least one slam this year.  That FH is still on fire, I see.

You can tell she's got some pudge under there and she will probably do the Monica and play herself into shape. I was shocked with her groundstrokes - the Forehand is still there, you're right.  And still some spraying around....the consistency will come and when it does she's not someone I want in my draw if I'm a player.

Dzumhur played so stupidly that I feel like he was purposely throwing the match. It was a puzzling display against Harrison, who wasn’t playing well at all.

Svitolina needs to take at least 6 months off.  She is not only losing, she's losing badly.  It's time to rest that knee that does not seem to want to heal.

Tomorrow’s Delray Beach lineup is all Asian vs. white (in Brandon Nakashima and Mackenzie McDonald’s case, Asian-American):

Soonwoo Kwon vs. Ryan Harrison

Yoshihito Nishioka vs. Noah Rubin

Brandon Nakashima vs. Cameron Norrie

Mackenzie McDonald vs. Reilly Opelka

Delray Beach is just another challenger tournament. All these unknowns playing against the American rejects. I have to laugh seeing Ryan Harrison all excited about staying even with unknown Kwon. I still remember Ryan upset at the American crowd for not cheering for him but instead for Kyle Edmund. He blamed the loss on them...lol

Damn Simon 6-4 6-0 win over Medvedev. Medvedev has been imploding so far this year.

Federer had knee surgery and will skip everything between now and the grass season.

Roger needs to retire.
