Someone posted on SC that they read that Lathem was goin to get replaced by Wendy Riche. dont know how true it is. but would that be a good or bad thing?

Wendy Riche has loved by most GH fans. Many actually want her to return to GH. I think she'd be a good fit, but much wouldn't be done unless she had the power to make the changes she sees fit.

It is currently rumored that Riche will soon be named the new executive producer of the daytime serial, The Young and the Restless. However, nothing has been confirmed as of now.

UGH, don't believe anything you read from Wikipedia. It must be the wishful thinking of some Y&R fan or GH fan who wants Riche to return to daytime.

I think Riche could do Y&R justice though, she seemed to respect the history of GH while she was there, she could do the same for Y&R, if given the cahnce.

Though, Riche was an excellent EP over at GH, she might've burnt out a little towards the end, but she's still way better than JFP.

I wish she'd return to GH, but I don't see her wanting to take orders from Frons. Also, it's widely reported that there's bad blood between Riche and Guza and you just know Frons would side with Guza, over Riche.

If thsi true I hope Rich bring back AL & DS. & get Victoria Rowell to help write some of the stuff she wanted to do. I really want CK to leave.

Also, I'd like to add, Riche is a friend of Barbara Bloom, so there could be some truth to this. I believe Bloom was executive in charge of production for both GH and PC, when Riche was EP of both shows.

I sure hope it's true... but it can't be. It's probably just a prank of a wishful fan. If it actually is happening, then hell will probably freeze over. Can't wait to hear more on this.

I hope it's true. I know it wouldn't be a decision by CBS, but Sony, but Bloom and Riche have worked together before on PC.

Damn. Now I can't shake the thought of Claire Labine possibly coming over to Y&R.

What Toups just posted tells me it is not true. There were rumors at this same place about Wendy Riche replacing Christopher Goutmant as EP at ATWT. And that never materialized.

I think a lot of people want Riche to run their soap, simply because of the amount of Emmy's and critical acclaim GH won during her tenure.

Riche didn't have a very good working relationship with Guza towards the end of her GH run. That could very well be true. There's also bad blood between Riche and Labine, mainly over their seperate GH spin-off ideas, which Riche won in the end.

She was a good EP on GH for most of her time there. I think what sunk her was trying to do both GH and Port Charles.

When she has strong writers, she produces the hell out of their material. She also produces with class, something that is lacking on many shows right now. She would fit in very well at Y&R, but I would rather have her at ATWT. I liked that rumor way better.

Riche would return Y&R to glory.

Latham has just run amok with this show. Dunno what she's on... Her tenure has been a mixture of "Yeah, that was clever in 1991 when you did it on Knots Landing, now it's just stupid." and "Wow, if I'd wanted to see that I'd have watched Laguna Beach not Y&R."
