Lucas and Sami as the cute couple doesn't work. They need to be going against each other. They are the same person, so this cutesy, getting along crap is not working out. They're at their best when they are at each other's throats. I'm not saying that Lucas and Sami can't be together. But they have so much inner-conflict that they don't need outside forces ruining their happiness.
