And the Steve stuff is ridiculous. I mean, I love him, but Stefano's not stupid. So unless Anna's a double agent, and Stefano is merely testing his son's loyalties, the whole thing is going to piss me off.

Steve was the village idiot today. Stefano and Tony would never have allowed that slouch into their living room eating dinner on the couch with his feet propped up on the furniture. I know he wants them to see him as relaxed and a jester, but come on. That was plain ugly and stupid.

I don't like Lucas so won't comment on him. I'm disappointed in Sami.

The biggest surprise that I really loved was learning that Tony is the backing for "Touch the Sky" airlines. That he is the one supplying the fake designer clothing seems very tied to Anna. This will be intriguing. I sort of liked Jeremy today. He looked great, held his own and got across his character very well. I am not the least bit squeamish about Max and Stephanie being as they are not blood related and did not grow up together. Nothing wrong there.

I think the Steve thing is believable only because Stefano is in bad health so he is slipping. Plus, he did prove his loyalty and it appears like he sold out the Brady's. Now the slouching is a little extreme but we saw Stefano blacking out today so he has others things to worry about. Plus, Tony was not around until the end and EJ just arrived at the house so Steve was basically able to make himself at home by only having to deal with an ailing Stefano. Makes sense to me.

I like the way Stefano is being written. The slap was good and I like the Godfather angle. Stefano's health has him slipping but he still can muster up enough at times to be in control. It seems his health comes and goes and that is why things like Steve hanging around can happen while other things don't happen. Steve really is hilarious. Good to have the real Steve back.

I like the Dimera's being tied to the airline story. I, too, wonder if the clothes knockoffs are knockoffs of Anna's designs. I loved Max today and the Jeremy/Stephanie stuff has me wondering if a physical abuse story is coming up for these two. Jeremy's portrayer mentioned he would be evil and he is already verbally abusing Stephanie so a part of me wonders if they may go there. I liked the mention of EJ and Max's history. Max needs a story because Darin is sorely underused. I love him.

Kate is such a waste right now. I love Lauren but if they aren't going to utilize her skills and the potential of the character, cut her loose. I am glad Nick stuck up to her, though.

I am also glad Lucas went to Sami with his fears. Ali and Bryan were great in that last scene together. Loved seeing Marlena too.

Good show. Tomorrow the fun starts B)

It MUST be a culture clash becauase I STRONGLY disapprove with STefano's writing.

I was literally YELLING at my TV: "Hey, Stefano, newsflash: KIDS LIE TO THEIR PARENTS!! That doesn't mean you CUT THEM OUT OF THE FAMILY, PSYCHO!!"

Again, Stefano ROYALLY pissed me off today.

Plus he has leverage by telling Chels, he can turn Kate against her.

I kept SCREAMING at the TV: "BLACKMAIL KATE, YOU IDIOT!'

Nick is so smart, huh? And he didn't think of that?! Threaten to turn Chels against her by TELLING about Kate's blackmail?

Kate loves Chelsea. She wouldn't have let it get that far.

NICK, YOU'RE A DUMBASS.

No it's not. I was just wondering and speculating due to the Dimera connection.

As for spoilers, I personally try to keep them out of here but you will find that almost everyone in the Days threads reads them. Whatever the case, spoilers typically aren't mentioned so no worries but what I said was not a spoiler :)

They've already said that's what they are, when Jeremy got Max into the deal as a silent partner. We just don't know whose designs, and Tony's sudden appearance, linking him the deal only makes me go, hmmm. As far as why he would rip off his 'dear Aw-nah's designs' is speculation that can only be understood through spoilers, so I won't say anything more

    • Vanessa told Joey that her best friend had cheated and has a surprise daughter.  Joey said the same had happened to him.  I wasn't sure if Joey was saying he has an adult out-of-wedlock child?
    • Interesting. I definitely think that it's possible that Jan could be a former lover of Joey's from back in the day, maybe back when he was still married. I won't be surprised if it comes out at some point that Jan used to be an escort or something.
    • Quick question, How are you guys making time to watch all these soaps? I consider myself a pretty organized person, but since I have committed to watching more of the older soaps. I feel all over the place, and can not figure out a schedule that seems to work.  How are you all doing it?   Thanks. I will check that out.
    • Oh, poor Henry had to wait for the grave to finally come "out"! The whole things was McTavish plot dictated so that Hart could have money to pull off his scam of Roger later. The fortune is totally forgotten later. Which reminds me WHY did they fire Hilliard who actually could kinda pass for a midwestern farm boy..from JOISEY Grillo? AM and Lucy's wedding has got to be the weirdest wedding up to that point and really exemplified the McLaiby cheesy run. Universal Studios? And the Spauldings shut the place down for the wedding that only involves 6 people??? Its not even that weird that Bridget and David arent there...they didn't even invite AM's Mom or Grandfather...
    • TBH, I found Felicity's dialogue in those scenes where she encouraged Chad and Cat to admit their feelings for one another more offensive than Xander yelling (although both are bad).  And, I don't get why there is any question of Xander's behavior being offensive, given that he knew that Felicity deserved an apology.  A customer openly expressing anger at a service employee in public is awful, regardless of circumstance. I like giving the character more to do, because there is a value in representing a person with a congenital disorder being employed, given that the unemployment rate in that community tops 83%.  I just hope they find a voice for the character that matches her functioning ability.  As for Cat, I wonder if she is going to inherit any of Clyde's money?  And that was the reason for the phone call.  I know he's not dead, but he could have named her family as the beneficiary of some insurance policy if he were to be incapacitated.  And the call could have been an attorney trying to reach her to give her money.
    • Oh you may have been watching the Teresa/Tom storyline...or "Terry the tumor" as she was called.
    • Are these new?! Damn, he is in the prime of his life.
    • He is a 40 year old large grown man "raising his voice" and calling a teenage girl "careless".  That's inappropriate.  I am not going to argue at the octave of his voice although I would consider it yelling.  Felicity was visibly upset.  She also has special needs, but it would be wrong to do that to anyone in general.  Xander was out of line.  He didn't immediately apologize or admit he was wrong until Princess Sarah was okay.  Idk, go find your wife's epipen instead of berating a young girl.  Or, you know, Sarah could have asked if there was any pistachio in her scone as a pre-caution.  That's how most people with allergies that severe order things. I do think this story or plot point is silly, but acting like Xander did nothing wrong is just strange.  Even if Felicity DID do something wrong was he just going to continue to go on and on while his wife was going into shock?  That's the proper reaction lol.
    • I didn't get that so far so I'll have to keep that in mind if I ever pick back up.  I must have chosen bad episodes because what I saw had some really bad Irish accents from supporting/day players. They were hard to get through and I just didn't have the patience to deal with them. I don't think these accents would be allowed to go through today. I assume these accents were ironed out as the show went on--reminded me of Deas's terrible accent on GL that was dropped because it was so bad.
