June 8, 200718 yr Member From today's NY Daily News: Daniel Hugh Kelly (ex-Frank Ryan, Ryan's Hope) will join "As the World Turns" as Noah's father.
June 8, 200718 yr Member That's good to hear, he's a good actor. Now I just want to see the story play out more than once a week. I'm glad TPTB are not shoving him onto our screens, but we could be seeing more of Luke while Noah's not onscreen. Edited June 8, 200718 yr by titan1978
June 8, 200718 yr Member I'm no Noah fan, but I am a HUGE HUGE Daniel Hugh Kelly fan! His character just left on RH so this is perfect. He was the best Frank and such a cutie! I hope he's not just Noah's father and is paired with one of the shows leading ladies. This is a newbie the show actually needs. Barbara is in dire need of a love interest and a storyline. Unfortunately, I doubt she'd be the one who swings him.
June 8, 200718 yr Member Does anyone really believe DHK is going to be on for more than say, SIX episodes? Yes, we could use an older male to spice up Barb, Susan or Lucinda's life, but I don't believe we're getting one. Noah will live in the same parentless-vaccuum every teen on this show lives in.
June 8, 200718 yr Member This is really cool I can't wait for this to start. From some photos I just looked at it looks like Noah's Dad will be starting during the Branson stuff. And he is dressed in an army outfit. http://www.news-leader.com/apps/pbcs.dll/a.../706080368/1093 just click on the photo gallery button to get more photos there are like 16 of them, with mainly Noah, Maddie, and Noah's Dad, with a few of Van, and Will and Gwen.

I think you are probably right. I wonder if we will see Noah's dad after Branson? It would be nice but I have my doubts. We could really use a male of that age in Oakdale, but I'm not optimistic that it will happen.
