Not this year. I predict Las Vegas will be cancelled next May and Vanessa/Brenda will return to GH soon after.

I definitely see this upcoming season of Las Vegas as it's last. Which is sad cause I love the show a lot.

Vanessa will be back in 2008, I guarantee it, unless she manages to snag a pilot should Las Vegas end.

WE don't need Vanessa Marcil back as Brenda, We need Genie Francis back before any other actress.

I haven't read a single thing confirming the show was interested in recasting Brenda. There have been little rumors in SOD/SOW that they are but nothing out right confirmed. At one point talk was about Gina Tognoni would leave GL but she resigned with the show. There are also rumors about Rebecca Budig as well. I know some people think they have already said Coop Barrett is Brenda nephew but they have never said that either on the show.

I read Guza himself confirmed it. He said the show must progress and if Vanessa isn't available, then they want to recast

Oh, lord. While I wasn't exactly a huge fan of Vanity, I do have to say that Vanessa Marcil is the only actress I will accept in the role. The recasting of signature roles such as Snarly and Vanity with actresses who wish they had even an ounce of whatever Sarah and Vanessa had that made the role popular is becoming tedious.

I guess because they think they've struck gold with Laura Wright's Character posing as "Carly," then they might be able to do it again with Vanity.

I love Vanessa but I don't see how it's true that Guza loves the character of brenda. He destroyed her when she returned the last time around, propping his new favorite, Carly.

In my mind, the only Brenda is Vanessa. If they recast, well, I guess I will have to deal. I won't like it though!

It's funny, the past few weeks, I've been really missing Brenda's presence on GH. And by "Brenda" or "Vanity" as R Sinclair calls her I mean Vanessa Marcil. I would love her back. Don't know about a recast, though. Recasting kinda cheapens the character. I loved Tamara Braun as Carly but even I recognized that Carly under her watch was only a fraction of the charisma Sarah Brown brought to the table. In fact, it hasn't been the same since Sarah left.

I love Gina Tognoni, too, but can she bring the ratings up to almost 4.0 in HH like VM did last time she came to GH? TPTB might do well to wait until Marcil is free from her Las Vegas commitments. After all, Vanessa's boobacious lookalike, Kelly Monaco, might have left for Primetime by then.

Any 24 fans out there? Marisol Nichols (Nadia) really looks like VM.

I still think Vanessa Marcil is the only Brenda, but they look a like a lot!
