why is this made completely of GH regulars? I thought it was going to be new characters with ties to the current ones and the GH characters would pop up as needed. Now it seems just like another hour of GH

it is. 11 of those characters are involved with the hospital and the rest have ties to them

They are casting new characters. But in order to establish the show first, they need to use the characters people are used to seeing. It is supposed to be very hospital centric. Kimberly McCullough and Jason Thompson are supposed to be the "stars" of the show.

I want to check this out but seeing Steve Burton's name listed first makes me worry. Whenever I've watched GH on Soapnet, when I see Jason or Sonny I just change the channel. I've always like Kimberly McCollough so the promise of her starring in this made it appealing to me.

God, why are people so quick to jump on things and trash them? Give it a freaking chance, please.

I personally like the cast and think they have a nice set up. We're getting some recurring actors that aren't used much on GH. Hopefully we see more of them.

I'm happy and can't wait to watch it. And Drew ... what Cheap said. Um, there's at least 11 characters with ties to the hospital and the rest are connected some which way.

There seems to be people already complaining that they won't be able to see people like Robin and Patrick if they don't have Soapnet. I am guessing these characters are going to fluctuate between GH and NS. I don't get why Jason is there other then maybe he has something going on with Liz or Emily. I see why they have to use the established characters to get the show off the gound but I sure hope they give new characters just as much focus and I also hope GH doesn't use this as an excuse to not use Robin and Patrick and some of the other GH characters as much on GH (I know they will use Jason just as much but Robin and Patrick always seem to get slighted in regards to the frontburner lately (Emily is getting that treatment recently too but I don't care for her so I digress.).

I am very interested in this but I don't want it to be some GH ripoff only with a tad more focus on medical issues. It needs to more then that IMO.

Actors will fluctuate between the two shows. People are forgetting that Jason is the father of Lizzie McSmirky Smirk's child aka baby Jizuz, so he may be on there to help her with the baby. And just because Steve is listed as a cast member doesn't mean Jason will be there all of the time. He could just be on recurring.

Patrick & Robin's story is expected to pick up and will be heavily aired on both GH and Night Shift. I'm sure ABC & SOAPnet will work something out to air the show online for those w/o SOAPnet.

I'll be checking it out. There are characters I actually like to see on this, aside from Jason, rather than on the real show when I hate about 40% of the cast, and that percentage is the main cast that's shown.

    • And the third thing, which I have no cite for, and I may look to see if one is findable, but supposedly she said that the show had too much gay content in it. And, to be fair, that could be someone making a criticism about balance & not be bigotry but when it's added to the other, that's why it bugs people.

The greatest tv series season finale in history.
    • Mick Savage was sooo unbearable. And more unbearable was the reaction from the female characters to him - they were acting like he is God's gift to women and sooo irresistible. To a point of unbelievable cringe.
    • Today was a short one. Only 33 minutes.  The ‘Part One’ graphic at the beginning was pretty interesting though. I didn’t expect them to do something like that.  I like how everything was focused around John and his family and friends. Again, the acting and the dialogue was very well done and well written. And I love that they were able to incorporate Drake’s, “swing for the fences” phrase into the script. It was nice seeing everyone interact with each other, especially characters who don’t often share scenes together. It felt like every character was part of a big family or community. Plus, an outdoor funeral in June makes a lot more sense than an outdoor funeral in December.  But yeah, it’s very, very strange that Will isn’t at the funeral, especially since we know that

I would much rather he had been there today. And, where’s Anna too? And Jack and Jennifer? What was the point of bringing them all back if they weren’t going to attend the funeral? I expected Steve to want to close down BlackPatch, though I’d rather he just retire and let Paul take it over. But I like that Kayla was there to comfort him. I wonder if he’s going to change his mind at some point.  It was nice seeing Shane again too. Now, he just needs to have more scenes with his son lol but I enjoyed seeing him comfort Marlena. I’m not really sure about his interaction with Cat though? Was it really necessary for this to happen now, at John’s funeral? They could’ve waited a little longer to introduce this story arc.  Btw, was Tate bleeding from his head in his first scene with Arianna?

    • Now this strikes me as funny. I have it up on my acct. The thing is I only have S2. Didn't want either 1 or 3.  Perhaps I should just list all of these that I have up.  Parodies: Dirty Sexy Money, Filthy Rich Incomplete: The Monroes, All That Glitters, Falcon Crest (have all just not all up), Once & Again S2 only Complete: Models Inc, Pasadena, Pacific Palisades, Paper Dolls, Flamingo Road
    • This is wonderful! Thank you for posting this! I loved the first two seasons and never got to see the final season when they cancelled the DVD release. I've been hoping this popped up on streaming but no luck. Happy I'll finally get to see how it ended!
