Reilly allong with Nancy Curlee and Stephen Demorest followed Pam Long. A lot of people were calling GL "Reva Light" because everything revolved around Reva and most everybody else was on backburner. They spread the stories around,creating a balance and put Vanessa in the forefront. I know that it wasn't all Reilly and that it was a collaberative effort but that was one of the best era's Gl experienced. Maybe he is burnt out. I never saw his first stint at DAYS but people still rave about it. After some time off after Passions to recharge he might just make a good HW for another show,even Y&R!! Members soapfan770 Posted April 11, 2007 Members Share Posted April 11, 2007 Reilly pretty much STOLE the fantastic and chilling story twists of Bell's work in the late 80s and seems to recycle it often, such as being buried alive, cages etc. The only ripoff from Bell's work I think Reilly did justice to was expanding the buried alive story when Carly was buried alive.
