With Passions going off the air on Sept 7,2007,James E. Reilly better known as JER on the internet is going to out of a headwriting job.Can you imagine what Y&R would be like under JER's reign.Just imagine the stars speaking out in the soap mags with interviews,imagine what the storylines would be,and imagine the ratings performances good or bad.The scenarios seem endless.Here are some of mine:

1)Eric Braeden speaks in all the soap mags about Reilly's writing being worse than stepping in dog poop.

2)Drucilla would come back from the dead as an amnesiac woman going by the name of Celia Falls.Dru gets a suspicious vibe about Phyllis and thinks Phyllis did something to her but doesn't remember what it is.Dru figures it out after the storyline stalls for 3 years.Then it takes another 3 years for Dru to expose Phyllis about the cliff incident after many fall starts in that reveal.

3)Eileen Davidson comes back as Ashley Abbott but her behavior will be like Kristen Dimera.

4)Nikki becomes possessed by the devil and sets the horse stables on fire with Newman barely getting out alive.

5)The days will last 60 episodes ,some 75 episodes.

6) Nick,Brad,Daniel,Devon,Neil,Kevin,Micheal all go shirtless for 60 episodes straight.

JER started off as a staff writer for Y&R btw. How he strayed so much from Y&R's writing technique, I'll never know.

CRAP is what it would be

Well, the people who are bitching about Latham now would REALLY have something to bitch about then, LOL.

Can you imagine ashley go gunning for Nikki? That would be a laugh.

The show would be most likely cancelled if that azzhat was writing for it. It would slip in ratings, thats for sure.

It's either it would slip in the ratings or if JER pulls out all the stops in his storylines the viewership might increase out of curiosity to see what the fuss is about.

JER would never work on Y&R, for the most part, Y&R is the last soap with a definitive sense of realism attached to it (at least as real as a soap can be). It's not as camped out as Days and GH can be at times, if it steps into that territory it will seriously alienate a huge part of its core audience. Y&R prides itself on appealing to multi-generational audiences, more so than any current soap, if JER's there, that won't happen.

JER possibly could write something good if he tried, I mean he did win an Emmy as apart of GL's writing team in the early 90's, but I bet that wasn't due solely to him.

Lynn Marie Latham would look like the second coming of Agnes Nixon

I shudder to think of JER's Y&R.

Victor Newman would be exposed as Satan and Nikki would be Medusa.

Victoria and Nick would get amnesia and start an affair, not knowing their brother and sister.

Alcoholic Neil would find a magical bottle in the liquor cabinet while on a bender and unleash a genie, who grants him three wishes.

She will find out the hair dye she uses to cover the snakes is no longer in production.

JER's Y&R:

Every day, Gloria would tell Kevin that she's going to tell Jack the truth about the skin cream.

Phyllis would threaten Sharon and dial her cell phone at the end of each episode, calling Victoria. Then on Monday, she'd ask Victoria for the latest sales figures and the cycle would then repeat.

A quad would be formed with Amber/Korbel/Colleen/JT, with Amber & Korbel married and Colleen pregnant with what she thinks is JT's baby (because Amber switched the paternity tests!)

Katherine would become possessed by the devil, but nobody would notice since her voice remains the same.
