Let's not forget that Bill Bell Jr. apparently approved of all the changes she was making to the show. Also, every time we see LML with Lee Phillip Bell, it's nothing but smiles and laughs between those two. I wonder what scandalous information Latham has on the Bell family, for them to be this accepting of her.

He's also worked on Spider Games and AMC...

Whether or not this son, who is more like 25 if I read the interview accurately, not 21, has any talent (and having 2 writer parents he is more likely to have writing talent) that particular script stood out when I was watching it having no idea who wrote it. I have no idea if the dialogue was any good or not. Even if it was it could have been heavily edited and rewritten so we wouldn't know for awhile.

What stood out for me was the episode seemed to me to be channeling classic Bill Bell. The episode seemed the most Bill Bell-like material I've seen on the show in years.

As far as I know Sony's interest in both Y&R & Days has been more in the line of distribution than creative input for most of the years they've been on. That may not be true but it's how I understood it. Days is produced by Corday Productions & Y&R by the Bells. Sony might intrude in there a bit but I don't think they're really right there making all the decisions. That is up until recently when Sony seems to have been getting into gear over at Y&R with a strong passion.

Oh God... The demise of Y&R continues. What is LML trying to do? It's now like she is trying to prove the fans wrong. She wants to show them that she, alone can make Y&R more successful than it ever has been in the past. I'm sick of it. And I am damn glad that I haven't been watching the show for over a week now. :)
