YAY! Back to normal for me too!

It is amazing how much time I come to this board,LOL!

Not only is it back to speed but i was shocked as hell to see that i was logged in LOL.

Still sloooooooow, better than yesterday which was all but non-functional.

yeah it is still legging a little bit for me but its much better than yesterday. Yesterday I hardly came here.

As either mentioned in this thread or elsewhere, Soap Opera Network experiences high traffic from Wednesday evening through Friday afternoon due to our Previews and Sneak Peeks. Due to the high volume of visitors, our message board and website slow down in speed due to their programming delving in mySQL and PHP.

There is currently nothing we can do to rectify the slow downs, as this is normal for many high traffic mySQL/PHP driven sites.

Running SUPER slow today...and it's only the beginning of the week!!

Anytime there is a lot of guest on board reading either hot news items, and previews, the board does run a bit slower.

Yes, when there is breaking news, previews, and ratings posted on the board an increased number of people visit SON. The increased traffic slows down the board. The slowdown began a little early this week because of the big NBC and ABC Daytime news items. It should be back to normal by the end the week once things die down.

Why can't they put the board to make it so you have to register in order to view? There are times where the slowness gets so bad that you can't even get on here. Today is the first day that in awhile that I can actually browse the board.

Is it faster?

Yesterday and today it has loaded faster for me.

Yeah it has been going really fast for me yesterday and today.
