EastEnders

Sean He's useless although he has many ties to the square the character just doesn't work out he's not the promising replacement for Dennis Rickman nad he's nowhere near the same leauge as Nick Cotton and we already have enough wanna-be villians that work better then this character.

ChelseaI love the Fox family but Chelsea just doesn't work for me as a character especially now that the Fox family have moved in with the Wicks family.

Max,Tonya and kids I thought I would be happy with additions to the Branning family but actually The Brannings don't need any new additions they already have the best characters on the show (Dot and Jim)

Dawn Miller She destroyed the Miller family for me I still can't understand why Rosie and Demi were axed and why they kept her.

I would have added Ruby to the list but she already is on her way out :)

AMC:

1. Sean

2. Sydney (which looks like it may happen or is that wishful thinking?)

3. Colby (but re-cast...so this isn't really a budget cut)

4. Jonathan

5. Amanda

6. Del

7. Di

8. Aidan

9. Jeff

10. Julia

11. Danielle (like her but she pointless now)

12. Krystal

Geesh, half the cast! No wonder this show is the worst of the worst.

I'd slash the writing budget, get about 4 or 5 competent writers to do the job that these large writing staffs do.

I don't know how soap writing works, but why are 2 breakdown writers needed if someone can get a Head-Writer that can to do breakdowns as well? It would be a lot of work, but I'm pretty sure someone is hungry enough to want the challenge of being Head Writer and Breakdown Writer. I mean, look at some of the other writers on these shows: with or without a breakdown writer, the stories still suck.

I know that soap writers work hard. There's no mistaking that. But I don't see the need in employing a staff of 10-15 writers when only half of that is probably necessary. Especially when there are hacks that already destroy the stories to begin with.

Also, if I were saving GL some money, I'd get rid of Jeffrey. Bradley Cole is probably the biggest waste of airtime. No one else really gets on my nerves(not even Michelle Ray Smith...she's been able to hold her own lately in scenes with Crystal Chappell, who must have had something to do with it).

Well we are currently feeling DAYS budgets cuts...they were directly responsible for Matthew Ashford, Christie Clark, Billy Warlock and Austin Peck's exits!

For Days, aside those we KNOW are leaving, Tek, Shawn (Frank Parker), Roman. With Mimi, Patrick, Frankie all leaving, snd Jack, Jennifer, Austin, & Carrie gone, I tihnk it's safe to say the budget will be satisfied (unless either Joe or Eileen OR both return).
