Since so many soaps are cutting there actors, who do you think would be a logical choice to leave?

Brad -Even with a past (granted it's lame) he's still boring. Plus given the way Brad has been written, I doubt most will be sad to see him go.

Gloria -The Fishers need to be knocked down, and she isn't needed. Y&R should let this character go away for awhile.

DETECTIVE SULLIVAN -Damn, give me Webber back.

Will Barfwell -zzzzzzz.

**With Ashley gone that should free up some extra cash for "newbies." And Y&R could sure use some new (or past...Kyle, Victor Jr, Heather, Ricky, Phillip....)developed mid/younger actors.

**On a side not I'd love to see Paul get a storyline again and his family be brought back. Its time for the Williams family to be re-established. Plus I adore Carolyn Conwell and miss her terribly. However, if the writers don't want to write for one of daytime's best actor's anymore, then they might as well free him.

I did want to say that I agree with you about Paul and the Williams family. I miss him having a story so much, and miss his family.

Also is your banner supposed to only show part of it. I never get to see but half of the banner (the top half and hardly any of it is their faces) Just wondering if it is supposed to be that way, or if I am the only one who sees it that way.

If Y&R is having to make budget cuts as some have said. I just never read that about them. The proposals you make would cost more money than saving any. Esp. Heather Tom coming back.

And the 4 on Days would not give Days enough money to bring back the likes of Joe Mascolo and Eileen Davidson. Only Judi Evans of those 4 makes any kind of money. The 4 of them together might be enough to pay for one of those 2 to return - unless the returns were very limited.

I think Willow's contract is just temporary as well. And Nick, even though he is on contract (is he??), didn't Hogan say that this is a temporary character?

With the cuts already I think Bonnie needs to at least go to recurring or be featured more. It seems like Mimi will be re-cast though I don't think it is necessary. And Shayna Rose should be taken off contract and Stephanie backburnered for a while.

Gl is up because the other soaps are falling and the current regime has destroyed the history and characters of Guiding Light. The current writers are pushing couples together that the majority of audience hates and they are aging the kids out of order so past storylines have been destroyed.

Talented actors are on the backburner because Kreizman and Wheeler lack the creativity to come up with decent stories for them.

Jill Phelps was the greatest EP in the world in comparison to Ellen Wheeler.

Pam K. Long or anyone from the early 90's(90-94) would be my pick.

ATWT:

Lucy -- she's just not working out.

Dusty -- unless they're going to pair him up with Barbara, he's been written into a corner. Plus, there are no other age-appropriate women around for him.

Jade -- while the teen group does need an antagonist, she's too odd for me. She's extremely good at weaving her webs around her victims, but the actress doesn't really show us any hesitation or thinking about what she's doing; she sees her opportunity and leaps in and starts lying before we can blink. She comes across as a sociopath and a pathological liar, and I think we're supposed to be sympathizing with her, a little. But it's hard to sympathize with someone who shows no remorse, or even recognition that they're doing something wrong.

I also think Gwen and Will need to be backburnered for a bit ASAP. They've had way too much major stuff happen to them in the last year-plus, and have had no time to recover or respond to any of it. They just leap right into Major Story #304530495, which ends up belittling all the "tragedy" they suffered before. This has become even more apparent when you compare them to Maddie and Casey, who are still dealing with Casey's guilt about denying his child and with Maddie's recovery from her rape, stories which occurred some time ago. In contrast, Gwen and Will look like they're made of Teflon, since none of their dramas seem to affect them long-term -- and I doubt that's what the writers intend to portray about them.

I'd add Simon and Mike to the list, but they're gone soon enough.

GH:

Nanny Eyebrows -- Zzzzzz. Storyline dull.

Emily -- Zzzzzz. Actress as exciting as lint.

Sonny (oh, I can DREAM, can't I?)

Maxie -- Character is ruined.

Sam -- So tired of the angst and the victim stance.

GH should also move heaven and earth to get Genie Francis back for good. The show is sorely in need of a maternal tentpole character, and she is it for them. Look at how many characters were affected by her return, and they didn't even have her spend time with everyone! Without her, the show is much too dark and unrelenting and lacking in love and generosity.
