November 7, 200619 yr Member Anyone else think this show looks somewhat interesting? Finally a drama on CBS that isn't crime related! Although it does look like a Gray's Anatomy rip-off, but we'll have to judge it when it premieres. Anyway, it premieres next Tuesday at 10 PM, for those interested.
November 8, 200619 yr Member I'll check it out. I don't know if it'll take me away from Nip/Tuck though. If it's good, I might record it.
November 8, 200619 yr Member Although it does look like a Gray's Anatomy rip-off, but we'll have to judge it when it premieres. That was my first thought too, a cross between GA and House in the promos.
November 9, 200619 yr Member I'd say it's more like a rip off of House than GA. After it's premiere, if it gets good buzz I'll add it to my schedule. But I'm sticking with Nip/Tuck.
November 10, 200619 yr Member I don't see the GA thing in it, I see more of a Nip/Tuck rip off more than anything else. Nip Tuck works because of its raunchiness and I don't think we need another medical drama again! But I guess we will be seeing more incarnations...
November 15, 200619 yr Member I've been flipping between 3 lbs, and L&O:SVU, but have been keeping the channel on L&O:SVU mostly....... Can anyone tell me why Stanley Tucci's character Dr.Hanson kept having those visions or whatever you'd like to call them of that young girl?
November 16, 200619 yr Member I'll be interested in hearing what people have to say about this show. I can't watch though. First because medical and legal dramas are played out for me. But more importantly, the idea of brain surgery completely freaks me out.
November 17, 200619 yr Member I loved it. It has a different feel to it more than other shows do. I think its a keeper.
November 18, 200619 yr Member I've been flipping between 3 lbs, and L&O:SVU, but have been keeping the channel on L&O:SVU mostly.......Can anyone tell me why Stanley Tucci's character Dr.Hanson kept having those visions or whatever you'd like to call them of that young girl? That hasn't been explained yet. I think they're going to keep that a mystery for awhile. He had anonymously got an MRI scan of his brain and told another doctor that it was for a patient. He asked for that doctor's opinion about the scan, telling him that this patient has been having visual hallucinations that have been getting stronger. They kinda argued over their differing evaluations and that was about it.
November 19, 200619 yr Member When I saw the promos, all I kept hearing and seeing was "3 Lbs., 3 Lbs..." I had no idea what this show was about. How shocked was I when I realized that the "3 Lbs." they were referring to was the brain! I'm working on my psych major right now and the psych class I'm taking this semester is on neuropsychology so it was rather cool to see a show where I actually understood what was going on. I'm honestly not into medical dramas but this show looks pretty good so far.

December 1, 200619 yr Member So I never have gotten to see it because of work, but Jennifer Ferrin was in the first 2 episodes. Who was she? Did she give a pretty good performance?
December 1, 200619 yr Member Sorry to report, but 3 lbs. has been cancelled effective immediatly. CBS will rerun Crime/Drama's through December
