Another amazing series. It started out very interesting, and I even liked Season 2. Season 3 was even better, and even Season 4 didn't lose quality. I just hope the time skip won't do anything horrid to the series.

I have such mixed feelings about that man. At first, I was seeing him as very vain ("They respect me"..."unfortunately for them..."). But then I was liking a lot of those spoilers, so it makes me hopeful about next season. And then I enjoyed his time with Doug Savant as well. Thanks for posting that.

They don't just use titles, they use lyrics as well. And there's over 40 years of work there. I hope that once day Sondheim writes an original piece for the show (I have no idea in what way it'll be used, just want it to happen), Marc Cherry would die.

Wow, couldn't they have gotten their [!@#$%^&*] together for this five year jump thing? Gabrielle wasn't even pregnant at the end of last season while Susan had already given birth, yet Gabrielle's oldest daughter looks and acts older than Susan's son (which, I suppose the weight thing is a factor, but even if it wasn't, she still seems older). Don't even get me started on the Scavo boys (what happened to the third one?). Lynette said that they were 16? Meaning five years ago, they were 11, and then four years before then (when the show started), they were 7, which I believe they were written as 5-year-olds. Nitpicky, I know, but it just seemed like some SORASing was going on.

Noticed there were a lot of disagreements in this episode:

Bree vs. Katherine: I side with Katherine and cheered her on for the first time ever.

Carlos vs. Gabrielle: I sided with Carlos, ESPECIALLY after Gabrielle nearly made her daughter pass out.

Lynette vs. Tom: I hate Lynette and have for a long time.

Mike vs. Susan: I side with Mike. That woman ran the stop sign (even though it was knocked down, it seemed like she lived very nearby and should have been used to stopping there), so Mike and Susan didn't have much to do with her accident.

Were they purposely trying to make Bree and Katherine out to be some sort of lesbian couple?

The saleswoman thought she was 7 so clearly Juanita is SUPPOSED to be big for her age. I don't see how it's them not having their [!@#$%^&*] together when it's a deliberate plot point.

And we got a 5 second scene with MJ, what gives you the impression he acts so young?

    • Love this. And it would be part the show being meta again and a refreshing twist since the tale of a black family moving into a white neighborhood has been told, but the opposite...?

    • Really? But it was sooooo unrealistic. At least they found a legit reason for him to not run (SilkPress Sheila ain't no punk or joke...lol). Well tbf it sounded like he was joking. So I didn't think he was serious until yesterday. And I felt...THAT'S IT? So it's good he said it aloud to Doug's face so there was no way to mistake how the scene was played...which well I did. Seems so...simple?...given what's been at play with Doug and Vanessa.    +1. I agree.
    • I absolutely love the idea of Krista Allen being on the show. I wouldn't saddle her with Jen though. I'd create a brand new character for her. She could be a diva who lives Beyond The Gates and is gradually seen at the country club. Then I'd do a slow roll out where the Duprees don't like her and her family because she is part of the first white family that "infiltrated" Beyond The Gates. Then slowly...and I mean slowly...expand Krista's character's family as a rival to the Duprees as some have said the show should have. A younger son to mix it up with Chelsea/Kat, a daughter to maybe run for office against Martin. Krista Allen could easily be a great matriarch for a rival family.

    • They said Kate was on the board too.  I am confused if that's all new developments or we always knew that.  I really have no idea why Kate would be on the hospital board.

Then in a brilliant moment she invoked the words of Claire Labine, said by Rosalind Cash as Mary Mae Ward to Stone, near death, a now very famous quote: "Every moment of my life, whether filled with joy or with pain, has the potential for grace realized. Whether it's an opportunity to learn, or whether it's to make a connection, or whether it's to find love which you didn't think existed, these are gifts from god & to throw them back in his face is something unthinkable to me."
    • That would make sense; he is to DAYS as the Quartermaines are to GH, in terms of the hospital board. If only DAYS had a hospital worth being a board member of.
