I loved tonight's show! When I saw that Marc Cherry wrote the show, I knew it was going to be a good one. :)

Gabrielle/Zack/Carlos - I had a feeling Zach made up the fact that he and Gaby slept together. He really is a psycho. I had to crack up when Zach felt upstaged by Susan's fiance (forget his name at the moment) proposed, so he proposed to Gaby. "Stop clapping!" That was hilarious! Looks like we may be seeing a Carlos/Gabrielle reunion in the works. I have a feeling we haven't seen the last of Zach. This is the first Gaby storyline that I actually enjoyed since her tryst with John. Come to think of it, whatever happened to Xaoi Ming (sp?) and the baby?

Bree/Orson/Gloria/Alma/Andrew/Danielle - This was obviously the highlight of the night. The dysfunctional Van de Kamps are always my favorite part of the show. And the addition to the Hodges to this family added to the mix very well. Gloria is one sick biiitch. I'm so glad Orson made it in time to kick her ass! I loved that Andrew is protecting his mom. I hated the gap in their relationship and I'm so glad that it was finally mended. Looks like little Dani gets a surprise next week. Serves the biiitch right for breaking Julie's heart.

We finally get to see Edie's son too! The next show should be great.

Edie's son is young, I thought he'd be a little older. Interesting.

Tonight was really good.

I love how Andrew and Dannielle have sort of switched places this year. Fun stuff.

Things seemed a little to...perfect for me at the end. I hope Orson is a good guy, but I wonder.

BEST episode of the season

At first I didnt understand why Orson's mother was the way she was. I liked how they explained it and it made sense. She was some crazy religious nut who was obsessed with keeping him from sinning. She killed his father so that he wouldnt end up like him; she killed Monique to stop Orson from having an affair and tried to kill Bree to stop him from committing adultery in the eyes of the church. Thats why she was so insistant on him staying with Alma. As for Alma; lol...she gets the best death award. That was just funny. Im glad DH could inject some humor there into this dark and serious story.

I have to say I HATE Danielle. What a damn brat. Her mother could be dead and she wouldnt care, as long as she got to hang out with her friends and get some free alcohol. Im surprised by Andrew's concern and love that he has redeemed himself and actually cares for Bree now. I think I heard there would be a death this episode and I was hoping it was going to be Danielle, but then got scared it would be Andrew. Glad it wasnt him but too bad she didnt go

The rescue at the end was pure soap. That was classic with him racing from the hospital to save Bree just before she is killed. I love Orson and last night proved why they are my favorite couple. I just knew he wasnt this cold blooded killer and loved the twist. Marcia Cross definetly looked pregnant and Im guessing this honeymoon is to write her off for a few episodes. The ending was so fake bc it was obvious she wasnt in those scenes with him as they never showed her face

Edie's son appears next episode! Wow, didnt think we'd ever see him. He looked kinda young at 6. I thought he was that age when the show began which would put him at about 8-9 now. Im hoping that with Bree gone, they will focus more on Edie, for the time being.

I thought it was stupid that Gabrielle and Carlos' proof that she didnt sleep with Zach was bc he had a big thing. So what. If she was drunk then she still wouldnt have necesarily remembered. That kid is creepy though sneaking into bed with her half dressed. I was thinking rape but the show didnt go that angle

For the most part, I agree.

I used to like Susan & Mike, though, and I think they could still have a chance if Marc Cherry were interested in writing for them. I'm still holding out for him to continue the storyline of Mike finding out he's Zach's father. I would be much more interested in seeing Mike & Susan as a couple dealing with that revelation publicly than another predictable psycho.

If Gabrielle was passed out, she wouldn't have remembered the size of Zach's tool.

I couldn't care less about Orson (whom I also find creepy) or his mother killing his father. How will Orson get away with running down Mike? The same way Andrew got away with running down Carlos' mother. It will be forgotten by the writers.

Lynette/Tom was the only part of the show I found interesting because I actually give a damn about them and his treatment of her was really pissing me off just because she screwed up the chair order. I was glad when he thanked her in his speech.

I would love for Andrew to get a story and for more balance between the adults and teens. It seems that Andrew, Julie, Danielle, and Austin only get screentime when their appearance will in some way affect the adults.

This show is floundering because the writers keep trying to make it a comedic mystery when imo it was originally a drama with comedic undertones. The mysteries need to stop because the last 2 seasons have proven that Marc Cherry doesn't write them very well. This show's first season was a satirical look at the inner lives of housewives and it needs to go back to that.

Second best in my opinion, but I am right there with you, Cheap21!

This show has such brilliant writing. I think it's annoying how people always say "they are forgetting such-and-such," because Marc Cherry always gets around to stuff eventually. Like when everyone was so sure they had forgotten that Andrew ran over Mrs. Solis, and they brought that back up in an amazing fashion when Betty and Bree basically ended up blackmailing each other. I wish people would simmer down about Danielle/Austin/Julie! First of all, these people aren't main characters on here. The show is about the HOUSEWIVES. Simply because a couple of episodes have passed without them addressing Austin's cheating doesn't mean they won't get back to it. They are teenagers, for God's sake: hardly a focal point of this show. Just because Austin is hot doesn't mean he should be heavily featured. I like for the focus to remain on the main characters and not become the O.C.

But I digress. I agree with your assessment of Dixie Carter's character. I was pleased to have her be a religious nut, because it added a very disturbing tone to the whole story. It was so gothic macabre when Orson carried her body over and placed it next to Alma's. And then poor Ida found them on the lawn the next morning, LOL.

Well, I still love them, and I think Cherry has every interest in writing for them. In fact, I sometimes think Susan might be his favorite. I feel like he totally rescued her from last season's random half-plots and put her into a triangle which I enjoy immensely. James Denton and Teri Hatcher have a great chemistry, and I can tell how much Susan still loves him every single time they are in a scene together.

I think they are my favorite couple in the history of this show to date, although I do love the current relationship between Carlos and Gabrielle.

I dont like Susan and Mike together. She's too ditzy and immature for him. I much prefer him away from her. Funny thing is I do like her with the other men she gets paired up with. I like the British guy and want them to stay together but I know it wont last

Sorry I'm late guys!

WHAT A PERFECT EPISODE!!! Oh it's right up there with "Bang". Everything was just so brilliant-- acting, writing, stunts...EVERYTHING!!!

I was a little sad about Alma's death even though I knew it would probably be her that died. She was actually doing the right thing and trying to go warn Bree :(.

I can't help but wonder if it weren't for Marcia's maternity leave coming up and having to wrap up the stories, would they have killed Alma like this? If so, what was the point of her raping Orson. Do you think they had planned on doing a pregnancy story?

About the possible re-writing of stories, psychofan, I actually think there might have been. What I thought was gonna happen to facilitate Marcia's leave, was that Alma (who I don't think it was any coincidence was starting to look and act Bree-like) was going to hold Bree prisoner in that basement cell and attempt to take over her life. But then, with the state of Marcia's pregnancy becoming so fragile, they had to re-write. That's just my theory about how the story was originally going to play out, though.

Yeah. When even I am getting annoyed with it (and still need to catch up on DAYS new team...two weeks behind now grrr) enough to take a break...and B&B holds my interest more for a show where nothing is going on...it's a BAD sign.   Seriously thinking about that break until

Then we go from there. I just can't believe JG just went and lost all the momentum that was built up over the last month. And during May Sweeps, too? No, ma'am.
    • Works for me!!! Just the back of some brunettes head and a hug lol on the Island And also, I like how it's brand new info Mo was good at his job in the 90's.  That's pretty much the entire reason he's still on the show.
    • I recently edited an older episode to do a Denise Alexander edit but Mo was in scenes & I had forgotten that back then he was actually good at his job.  The contrast with today is well alarming.

"Brenda. I quit the business! It's done!" The. End.
    • Sonny looking down at the floor today and for a few episodes is worse.  LW at least brings energy and Steve seems engaged. I would cut Mo at this point.  The love fests with Laura and on and on with everyone.  Just go find Brenda off screen and beg for her forgiveness.  THX, BYE!
    • I'd checked out of Y&R for a couple of years because it was boring as... I returned in August because the Sharon story sounded intriguing. I know some hated it, but let's face at least something was happening! It was a solid use of vets and on-screen history. I honestly don't get the Dumas storyline at all or the premature end to the Sharon/Phyllis kidnapping. The latter story actually could've gone on for months. Alan playing cat-and-mouse.  It's like they also did a 180 on Billy/Phyllis - the Valentine's Day dream, Billy *saving* Phyllis and a month later he kicks to the curb! What??? That's completely illogical based on their history. Please let Mariah's secret be a good one. At least, Daniel/Tessa/Mariah have a non-business related storyline!
    • Nahh, Bill is through with Danielle, but I am getting so sick of her "all about me" attitude, so I am here for his shade.
    • She is being forced on the audiences again; she and Sonny are the "gruesome twosome". Even Jason has been pulled back and made more tolerable this 'go round.
    • Carly is 100% part of way too many stories.  We are all pretending like Laura Wright is bringing something new to the table as Carly.  Laura Wright is serviceable and has great hair, but she's not Sarah Brown or anything.  She's fine and I like her but she's not doing anything special as Carly.  She's just floating around currently.
