I hated what the press did to her before she tied the knot. Why do single people always have to put up with nasty comments and rumors? I think it's smart to get married when you're older. Jessica Simpson got married too young and look what happened. I had a doctor friend who got married for the first time and had a kid in her 40's--same as Marcia. Here(Canada) a lot people don't get married or get married later in life, you know after they actually know a bit more about the person they're marrying and when they know themselves a bit better. It's like divorce is just some thing that "happens" and a lot of people-particularly stars- get one without even trying to work at their marriage first, they just want instant gratification.
