I totally agree. It was not Zach's fault his dad conspired to keep his son hidden. I never felt sympathetic towards Ethan, ever.

It is his fault he denied his, abused him mentally, and married the woman his son loves. I have never loathed a character more then the Zach the bastard.

OH so Erica and every woman who had a child and gave it up for adoption now has responsibilities to that child simply because they produced the child? I don't think so. And let's remember one thing, Ethan was not a child, He was a man, a whinning one, but still a man.

Who cares what age he is. There is a reason a parent is a parent and I think marrying the woman your son loves is something any parent wouldn't do.

WHAT????? So the adoption/responsibility point is irrelevant huh?

Giving a child up for adoption is giving responsibility for that child to someone who can better provide. When did Erica ever go out of her way to hurt Kendall? Erica didn't plot to carve Kendall's heart out.

That's sort of our point so then the birth parent's responsibiliy no longer exists.... Zach didn't have to accept his son if he chose not too....

it happends all the time when kids search for their birth parents.

Ethan was more upset he denied him, not that he wasn't a father. He called all of Pine Valley and denied him in front of everyone. Don't want to not be a father and then try to control that same persons life.

Agreeing with amcfan_19. Also, when Kendall first came to town, Erica wanted NOTHING to do with Kendall no matter what Kendall did. And I'm sure that it hurt Kendall and that is why she retaliated against Erica. So why is Erica's rejection of Kendall different for Zach's? It took years for Erica and Kendall to work out their problems. Zach tried and with his last breath, he wanted Zach to suffer. Ethan needed to grow up and act like a man instead of an infant, "mewling and puking in his nurse's arm" (I had to through Shakespear in their :) )

That's like telling me that Erica had to accpet Kendall, because Richard Fields raped her, and she got pregnant. Or like Erica has to accept Josh because Greg Madden lied to her and violated her. That's like telling me that Zach had to love Ethan, because he was there. Is Erica responsible for Kendall's conception? For Greg Madden violating her? Is Zach responsible for his father and Ethan's mother keeping Ethan's exsitence from him? No.

Just because a child, baby, kid, teen, adult is there, doesn't mean the parents have to have, or feel any responsiblity towards them. If the child had a good life, which, Ethan, Kendall, and Josh did, then things are as they should be.

Why the heck should have Ethan forgived Zach? He married Kendall on revenge and didn't talk to him after that. Give me a break Zendall fan. You got what you wanted they killed Ethan for that pairing.

Ethan unlike Kendall was not brought up by parents who loved him. His adoptive mother never really cared about him and that made the pain of his real parent denying him all the more painful.

And if Zach never reached out to Ethan, I bet you would have used that arguement as well. The arguement would have went something like this: (Zach is such a jerk, his son was dying and he didn't even have the decency to reach out and tell his son that he was sorry and that he loved him ) IMO

And it is not our fault that the writers didn't continue his relationship with Simone.

Big friggin fat word Kylie!

Simone and Ethan were never a story. They were a plot point to remove Ethan from Kendall's orbit and to not show a son in pain.

Ethan's death doesn't impact Zach at all. Actually, Zach being his normal jerk self was him asking for forgiveness at the end seeing it was all about himself and his needs.

Ethan is perfect because he was played by James Scott. That's the bottom line. Shall we move on?

Biology doesn't make people parents, responsibility does. And once responisbility is given up, then that person no longer owes their child anything. Just because two people give you life, doesn't mean that they have to be the ones in the child's life. Lots of things can contribute to a person/people not being able to raise their child, or not being able to raise their child.

Love makes people parents, IMO. And that is why, while I love Kendall to death, in my eyes, Alice Hart and her husband will always be Kendall parents. Just as Greg and Emily will always be Josh's parents.

i wish i knew what Ryan has to do with Zach's horrible, inexusable behaviour towards the son he now claims to love. Sure he owed Ethan nothing and if one doesn't care for their own child whether they gave them up or not that is fine, but i KNOW what it is like to be rejected by your birth parents as a child and an adult and it stings just as badly. it's fine zach didn't want to be a father to Ethan but to sprinkle salt on the wound by marrying the woman he loved....there was no call for that.

ROFLMFAO! You hit the nail on the head with that one.

So much word to rem13, Kylie, R Sinclair & amcfan_19's posts B)

What freaking pissed me off is suddenly Ethan was all about his grandfather, but yet was mad at Zach for rejecting him? His own grandfather wanted nothing to do with him, and if he'd had his way he probably would have had Ethan aborted
