Okay, well, One day Challie broke up. But it's great dialog & well acted. Gwen & Xander are taking the paper away from Jack & again there was great dialog & well-acted. Jennifer really laid into Gwen. Those two things were one day. Yesterday Marlena got an audience with the devil & he chose to show up as Doug. That was good. Today Roman & Anna had a good scene. Another day Will & Sonny & Allie had a good extended scene but they bring bad news, so it's a mixed blessing. Maybe you could get very absorbed into a movie? Or a book? You could watch Anne Heche as Vicky & Marley on AW on YouTube. If you can stand Twitter there's just a ton of nostalgia Edits up on greater days of DOOL!!! Joeiscool has more video clips than god. And, Angie has that many too.

Uh, do you by any chance watch GH? It's having a great Feb. sweeps. They're at about a week & a half of all good episodes. Days today was better than M-Th.

Absolutely! She was being very kind, very attentive, very generous to spend her time doing that, etc. We needed to see a lot of that & the show did not give it to us!

I just have a feeling that Leann has a lot of fans & I know there are so many people who tired of Suzanne. I don't think Anna & Tony would've been in BS2 if they didn't have their own distinct following. No opinion on Kate. When she & Paulina were having good girl talk scenes, I liked that quite a bit but it's not continued to happen. I think Lauren is a lovely talented actress & beautiful but maybe Kate is just problematic or something.

Obviously I agree that it should be Stefano but without Joe it's an impossibility. Nick is working. And, I love "Caring Anna". I also love "Could Care Less Anna" & I laugh when I think of her in Kristen's garage apt. that day being an absolute snot & snob about everything! But, today she was very caring & I think we've needed to see some people caring about these widowers! Orpheus at least temporarily saved his life with a Scheherazade move. Gives us something to look forward to for Monday for a change.

Hey, well put!! I am sure that he enjoyed it! Actors, who have been doing the same role like he has for umpteen years always enjoy being handed something different!! I was so glad today that finally someone pointed out that he lost his wife, his sister & the mother of his children! Did you happen to notice that one of the commercials was "Hello Angel!" An ad for Angel Soft toilet paper? Couldn't ask for better product placement right in the middle of Salem Angels! Today is Feb. 17. Eight days from now is Mar. 1st. Mark your Salem Angels calendars!

Personally I thought they might go with some way to make it seem that this persona was Stefano & I was frankly concerned that it would be hokey. I don't know why they went with Doug. I'm sure they liked the "not a cheap con man" line since Doug was initially Brent Douglas, cheap con man. And, they will almost always reach for an in joke if there's one to be had. I do not think it had to be Doug.

Well, so far, that's as it should be. Trina's reaction, that this is her identity is on point. Her anger is righteous. But, frankly I had a different reaction entirely & that was that's Trina's Emmy reel right there. Both actresses were superb! Also excellent acting from Maggie with Dante & Sam to Austin & Ava & I actually screamed when it was Ryan at Ava's door! I was mostly just experiencing the drama tonight. And, it was a good night for GH!!

Well, I will differ on this. Again, I thought Bill did a great job & was well used. The first time he was DevilDoug in demonic possession 2.0 was one of the 2 scripts that won them last years' WGA & Writing Emmy. I thought that script was sound, valid, tight, really well-written. So, there's that. FWIW to ya.

Something that is really stand out about the town of Salem is that a great many people who live there are interconnected with each other & have been for decades!!! This show is being written as if these people do not know each other a'tall much less have common life experiences! And, I don't understand why. And, somehow that seems worse than just saying pacing, balance & use of personnel are appalling.

Why not replace Ron with Patrick Mulcahey? I say him only because he's free & the best I can think of.

Personally I don't think the show is worse. I think it's just as bad as it was a year ago and that is unbearably sad, awful, depressing, etc. They've already spent some of that peacock money. New cameras, we can see, promos for Megan coming & Bope coming, they've spent money there & betw Feb. 24 & mid-March we will see that. I don't think anyone knows about whatever else is on the till, do they? I mostly want to know if the new writing is going to solve any of the writing problems. I'm very afraid of it being new writing, same problems.

Belle came back. Shawn's temporary. Permanent res is Claire, Theo & JJ. And, I've heard Johannesburg once or twice. I'm sure it was a splurge. It reminds me of Ed Bauer on GL who was off & on in .... you got it, ... AFRICA! And, DOOL had the corner covered on boarding school in Switzerland, for years.

I like to say that she is thought of as ... all one word: GloriaMontyWhoSavedSoaps !! I've just read this interview where Kin, Tony & Jane talk about the Gloria years among many other things. Jane says she was mean. Tony says she made him do scenes over & over & over again. So, Gloria joins the ranks of Irna, Rauch, Joe Stuart, etc. as Producers that actors say ugly things about, no matter how true. That is not only one of my top 5 DOOL shows on YouTube but I recommend it to about every third person I see! Philece was on fire! (May she rest in peace.)

In Columbus, MS, where I went to university and lived for a time there are 2 dozen antebellum homes & some of them are on display year-round & some of them are just annually at Pilgrimage. Sometimes hostesses are garbed in antebellum dresses, complete with layers of petticoats & hoops. Most is about the historical aspect of the house, and the flowers which are in bloom during Pilgrimage & the architecture. Columbus was missed by Grant because the railroad didn't go there. So, there was a field hospital that was used for everyone, both sides of the army & people of color as well. Friendship Cemetery is the location of the first Decoration Day because the women of the town put flowers on everyone's graves, no distinction was made for Yankee or Rebel or person of color. I know sometimes people go there expecting the worst but they seem to handle things with some forethought & sense. I'm sure some people are put off by it still existing. Yet they consider it tourism. It's tricky.

They took them effortlessly FINALLY from potential couple to real couple. Being invited to a family wedding is IN LIKE FLYNN! And, then, the dance, so nice. I couldn't believe how long he just stood there with Joss smack dab between them. Finally asked her to dance. I was pleased with his dialog that he never was pretending. Needed to get that our of their way! Some mag that sends me email had a beautiful picture of Gavin in it. He is so good looking when he smiles!
