  1. This should be the rotation we begin with: Janet Spellman-Drucker, Noel Maxam, Angela Tessarini, Scott McKinsey, Albert Alarr, Sonia Blangiardo Goins & David Shaughnessey
  2. At some point I recall knowing about that package deal. Hate when I forget what I used to know! LOL! Well, John & IzzyB were certainly very very popular. ACK! What a bad idea! You can go sit over there with the people who thought up Alex North! So, you picked that up from my post. I referred to her as Kristen Blake & to Peter as being a Blake also. And, to them being wards, which they used to be. I'm not sure if there was ever exposition about adoption instead of being wards.
  3. You're very welcome. Just passing along info. I can't wait to see tonight's episode!
  4. Okay, if you ask me it was clearly a panic attack. But, beyond that why do we have suspicion about the pills? She said they were ADHD drugs & that would have been an easy high school purchase.
  5. Someone, unknown to me who, posts full episodes within about an hour of their airing on the video site, DailyMotion. Can you access that from where you are? People complain about the ratio, something about the size of their window for the screen, throws things off, or something. I've only looked at it once, out of curiosity.
  6. God yes, she's on the regular rotation. Here, love, meet your directors: Janet Spellman-Drucker, Noel Maxam, Angela Tessarini, Scott McKinsey (Beverlee's son), The Monster Alarr (till April, dammit), Sonia Blangiardo Goins & David Shaughnessey (brother to Charles Shaughnessey & father to Amy)
  7. It appeared to me as if EJ was having a panic attack which he worked himself out of. If that's where they're going with this, it wouldn't be such a surprise for it to first manifest in a period of great stress & EJ/Nicole definitely are in a place where stressors just keep on coming! Of course, the ending was classic where one person, Tate, is telling the absolute unvarnished truth & then another person lies & says they did it to protect them, Brady, and then Tate himself lies & says he did it to protect him, Brady! I don't think any genre does that dance except soaps! I've been behind on episodes, so haven't been posting. I loved Nicole's therapy session. I was not at all surprised that Nicole could make love. Nor did I find it surprising that now Abe loves Paulina. However, I am bored with his amnesia. Are they going to make it permanent?
  8. Okay, maybe Peter was more interesting. But I agree that her story & the gradual change from social worker to classic villainess was indeed well crafted & had good execution to it. Okay that makes sense. And the Tale of Two Romans, even at that, still has some very fine scenes in it. I'm just not sure the total picture hung together as well as one might wish. Yes, we'll agree to disagree.
  9. I did not find Kristen, the social worker overburdened with a case load, to be at all boring. Both she & Peter, to me, were interesting characters, from being the Blakes, wards of Stefano, who had been raised by him, to all of their interactions. Now, I also wouldn't say that Kristen didn't become MORE interesting. Obviously, she did & she is. When they brought Wayne back, I wonder if they had any clear-cut idea of what in the heck they would do with him! If I understand correctly they decided to bring Wayne & Dee back, at the same time. And that makes me think recreating RoMar may have been ONE of their options. Now, here, I completely disagree. To me John Black was a stroke of brilliance. He couldn't be Roman. He just never was. That was so clear when Wayne first was in the same room with the whole Brady family at the Brady Fish Market. Shawn & Caroline knew immediately that he was Roman & that they had been mistaken about the other guy. That scene resonates so. And, then 4 days later they have the DNA results. The resonance really begins the day before when Wayne comes out of the kitchen to where Bo is in the living room & he says, off-handedly, "Hey, little brother!" like he'd seen him only a day ago instead of 7 years ago. John was very frustrated & that didn't resolve for a few weeks when they were in the pyramid & he finally realized he had never been Roman & so he wanted to find out who the hell he had been. So begins his identity search which took years of his life. Without his identity search what would you have be his purpose?
  10. GH: Before Gloria Monty decided to rebrand it a "seduction" Luke said it for what it was to his sister, Bobbie. I've never seen this before today. Luke admits rape https://twitter.com/i/status/1741926982927912979
  11. Thanks so much for finding this & sharing it! And, for the tag, too! WTG!
  12. But are you serif or san serif or text or headline? Maybe italic?
  13. I've only heard of people speak of Carrie in 2 ways - the brilliance of the writing added to the superb acting & then that Allen Potter fired Jane & foreshortened the story causing Marland to quit.
  14. Okay, so this would show up, correspondingly, in a ratings thread! Gotcha. That was all I could think of, but I was curious if anything strange was going on, especially because of the way Marland was a Renaissance later albeit but for ATWT.
  15. I'm interested in this from a totally different perspective. Bridget & Jerome Dobson were very happy HWing GL. They created Alan & Amanda Spaulding, Justin & Jackie Marler, Phillip Spaulding & Ross Marler. They studied the Rideout rape story & crafted the marital rape of Holly by Roger. But, P&G asked them to switch with Doug Marland who had been HWing ATWT. They did not want to but felt they had to. I'm not sure but Marland may have been equally dissatisfied. I do know that he indicated that he had to have a vacation before beginning a different show. So for a month the Dobsons continued to HW GL but also began HWing ATWT. My interest is this question. Why did P&G do this? Do we have any clues? And, this is an odd one but do you think that P&G paid them twice for that month where they actually doubled?
  16. You're right. Notes say that. Fingers typed some stupid number. Bad fingers! Sending them to bed without any supper.
  17. In the Bill Bell book I am currently re-reading, I have just taken these notes. My paraphrase: Y&R expanded to an hour on Feb. 15, 1980. The show lost 4 share points. It took them 3 years to get them back. Everyone had been hired on contracts that stipulated a half hour show. No one was legally bound to stay. Some did new contracts. However, some left. They thought they could get some mileage out of the time they'd been on this new show. Specifically, Jamie Lyn Bauer let Bill know that she would work out the rest of her contract but then she was out. She would not sign a new contract. She told him she needed a break & she told him not to talk her out of it. The way he reacted to losing her was indirectly why & how he changed the families of the show. He didn't want to recast her & he couldn't bear to have her family & friends go on without her.
  18. Interesting. I love Carly, Olivia, Lois. I miss Ryan but not Victor. I don't like Curtis or Marshall. Portia I Iike or don't like according to how they're writing her at whatever moment it is. True, Stella is boring and overbearing, a bad combination. But, Trina is wonderful. She & Spencer are the closest thing to a supercouple that there's been in years. Now I don't need a supercouple but when one comes along one can hardly not appreciate it! My next don't likes are Finn & Gregory & Violet.
  19. "The year is going, let him go; Ring out the false, ring in the true. Ring out the grief that saps the mind, For those that here we see no more, Ring out the feud of rich and poor, Ring in redress to all mankind. Ring out a slowly dying cause, And ancient forms of party strife; Ring in the nobler modes of life, With sweeter manners, purer laws. - from Tennyson's "In Memoriam"
  20. That's fair. Another way to look at it. But, me, I still am not compelled in any way by this JT character, whoever he is playing.
  21. Also Emmy-winning ex-Tony Santos of GL & the guy who is at this very moment at his wife's side as she delivers their child #3! Oh, elsewhere Ted King comes up ALL THE TIME! Just like VM does, I believe that he also, has a following among GH fans.
  22. Wayne is a great guy! Fortunately for him he loves being a rancher as much as he loved his career. Because after a certain point DAYS just wasn't there for him anymore. Today's Roman is mostly an embarrassment, if you ask me. Even with him marrying a hot number like Kate, he isn't exciting. And, Abe was really Roman's best friend but they don't even play that. If I were trimming the DAYS cast (which is sorely needed) as much as we need a new balance of old characters to new, I would write Roman off completely & give the ownership of the pub over to Eric, who frankly needs a job! We need more Hortons & we need Sami. But, we don't need this Chris Kosichek/Roman! Oh, yeah, you are right about Reilly. He would not have done well with Roman. And I agree that the affair couldn't be casual. That's why I made no reply when you said you felt like Marlena would not have cheated on Roman with John, again.
  23. And we know that OG Roman was one who would tease. And, Wayne was a jokester who pulled pranks that everyone loved because they were completely without malice. Deidre still says Wayne is her best friend. And another friend of mine is very close to Lynn Herring & he says Wayne is constantly sending small gifts to Lynn. Deidre was there when their first son Hank was born & she held him 3rd after first Lynn & then Wayne. Now Hank is a grown man & an actor himself. RoMar is history. Jarlena is EndGame. There's just no reason for fan animosity!! We all have one thing in common & it is a big thing & that is that we all love Queen Dee!
  24. There are a fair amount of Jarlena fans who have very fond memories of the OG cop & the doc & Wayne, etc. & its not strange at all for them to meet in cyberspace & relate & remember etc. And then there are Roman fans like me who hold John Black up as the Best Father in all of daytime which began when he was the single parent to 3 children - the twins who biologically belonged to Roman & Marlena and Carrie whose bio-parents were Roman & Anna.
  25. Tagalooza! Thanks for including me! Loved seeing MG's Holly at this point in time!
