  1. You are not wrong! Soap fans never agree on anything. Now, guess what? We agree. Drillow has taken the oomph out of our argumentative sails.
  2. More like I literally wonder if I'm watching the show I meant to watch, if that makes even a lick of sense.
  3. https://www.instagram.com/p/DMsSJsXJ7Ku/ Paper Dolls has 4 openings: the movie, the pilot which just uses Michael Jackson's Billie Jean for some unknown reason & then the one for the series & one variation on it. This is the best, the series.
  4. https://www.instagram.com/p/DMsRoeep1pK/ Another short-lived primetime soap, this one from Aaron Spelling & E Duke Vincent with Michelle Stafford & Finola Hughes, PACIFIC PALISADES
  5. https://www.instagram.com/p/DKaafAKpWzV/ In 1988 on ABC Kate Mulgrew & Ben Masters starred in a primetime medical drama that ran for 2 seasons, HeartBeat. It had the first lesbian as a regular contract role on American TV. This is its opening theme.
  6. Another show I love & have, plus I always felt like the soundtrack was a character!!
  7. See, I thought they pulled a rabbit out of the hat. Everyone I know expected Weeping Willow to go through with it because she had no other choice, was backed into a corner, so I thought the writing was excellent just for getting that gasp out of their audience when she totally went in the other direction. Plus, then how delicious, her desperation banging on the door & then that she said, calling forth a quid pro quo, that she said she had not married Drew & now could she please see her kids.
  8. Willow's face also at the end of Friday when Liz opened the doors & we saw her standing there, while the camera panned up first we saw this nice pretty slightly princess-y bridal gown & up & up till we got a face that reminded me of Carrie White (Cissy Spacek?) in that early Stephen King movie. Katey & her voice are hitting it out of the park but her face is doing a whole other acting thing that is so effective. I'm so used to thinking "How dumb!" that all of this going on is a rare treat.
  9. Is it known if someone is going to buy Foster's bookshop? I thought it was very weird that EJ went under hypnosis & after thought he had "seen" who shot him but couldn't say who it was that he saw. I don't know whether they're trying to say he is a tough subject for hypnosis or that he's got some really serious mental block against remembering or just drawing out the unknown for more time & with more drama. I just loved Julie & Marlena. I cannot fathom how Melinda & Sophia are going to get away with this. And, yes, she is such an awful recast.
  10. Is it just routine taken aback reaction that any temp provokes or was there something specific about it being Anna, or was it just being NotMaeve? Was Sophia Landon Greier also a tempVan? Or was she just a temp Donna for Anna?
  11. I believe this persists as an error because they were one of the vignettes for a special episode & notably they did not kiss when everyone else did. It may have been for Valentine's Day, not sure whether it was that or holiday with mistletoe, etc.
  12. I'm sure there are pictures of her last time at GL because there are so many pictures available of her. That Weekly cover would be the disputed storyline, with the conflict between her over Nick's romantic relationship with Mindy, for example, so that is from that time period.
  13. In my forum on FB I have an album with 115 pix of Beverlee. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=oa.1690340338280129&type=3
  14. Thank you for saying so. Although I do think you're right. But, wasn't Ben Reade a legacy character? It seems to me he had prior claim!!
  15. She's 15!
  16. I knew full well about the other Ben!!!
  17. That really is sad because Pete Lemay would've liked writing for some Matthews family person! After him, I'm not so sure, but if he'd had a chance to anchor someone, then, maybe they'd have been kept in play. And, it would've added to the pre-85 to 95 historical value of Bay City!!
  18. I think Peter's continued absence is so glaring!!!
  19. We have some among us who persist in not realizing how very many people employed by either AMC or ATWT or GL or OLTL are no longer working in daytime since those 4 soaps were all canceled! Really! There were 19 soaps on the air in 1970. Later, for a longer time but more stable there were a dozen. Now there are 5. Clearly that's not enough jobs for most people who used to make their livings in US daytime dramas, to still be doing so. Get a clue.
  20. I'm still laughing, gently, at myself for describing the wrong person, in detail. 😉
