Is there any proof that Mulcahey took himself off of the credits, as co-creator? What I'd always seen was that after he left, Agnes had his name removed from the credits as co-creator. Just be great to know which it was. And, of course, if anyone ever knows what happened between the two friends & colleagues, please share the knowledge.

Perfection! Thank you. Nancy Wickwire was in my head as my second choice for this & yes, it was clear to me at least that Connie was having her named after an ex-lover. You know in the book Sometimes You Have to Lie: The Life and Times of Louise Fitzhugh, Renegade Author of Harriet the Spy she basically outs Connie. I mean it's done lovingly. There is certainly no malice. They were close in NYC circles. And, yes, I'm a huge fan of Harriet the Spy & also tomato sandwiches.

Just last week someone asked me if that role was based on a real person. So fun. The role, that classic reveal scene, the whole fracking movie, not only soaps but gender-bending. Knowing that the genius that was Monty also was a tyrant, though, she is probably a nicer EP.

I thought we did know that they are/were not friends off-work. I know she stated that Avery Pohl was/is her best friend. To me the birthday attendance or not is a non-issue. I just opine when people seem to attribute high-falutin' stuff to a guy who is just another regular working actor, which I am not putting down because it is a remarkable thing to be. If you ever look at the SAG stats on percentage of actors who have work during any given year it shows that big-time. But, he is not a god.

I'm about to be 74 years old & my memory used to be like a steel trap. No matter what it was, if I saw it or heard it, I remembered every single detail about it down to the last drop. That is no longer the case & it's just something I have to live with because it's a natural function of both aging & having so many things already filed away in my head.

This is true! I have a question. Does anyone remember who Nancy MCGowan was named so for? I remember that Connie asked for her to be named Nancy & it was in honor of a real person, an actress. I'm wondering if it was Nancy Pinkerton but I just can't recall.

I swear I do not think this show has gotten anything right, at all, in a fracking year except for Doug's farewell & Memorial & Julie's grief! For what? What did Leo do to Kerry? Must be something I have totally forgotten about. Now this sounds like I am taking up for Leo. ARGH. I hate MY show. This is so difficult. Sociologists should write about us, DAYS fans in the 2020s & their cognitive dissonance on a fictional show they've been fans of for over 50 years. There's someone's doctoral dissertation right there.

Two things: 1. This sounds about right. 2. I have always wondered if the original concept for that spin-off wouldn't have been far more successful. And, tell me if you disagree but I thought doing the Dallas thing was NBC's idea & that they put a ton of pressure on Rauch.

They were excited to be Best Actor & Actress that year, which was 1980, I think. I'm sure someone will tell me if it's 1981 instead or something.

@Mona Kane Croft Mona, I stalked the Corringtons through Schemering & he listed all the shows that IMDb did, plus one more - Capitol. But I don't have dates, apparently more near the end than the beginning. Before SFT they seem to have written for films. Interesting people. Also he revealed that they were a failure at GH. I was looking for something else when I learned that Ralph Ellis was indeed writing SFT when Kathy had her abortion.

JUST SO!!!! The creation of the NuAremid "set" if we're going to call it what it's not would appear to be something clever 4th graders could come up with, with only cardboard & some unmatched bed sheets. THAT'S IT, it's like kids creating a "fort" out of sheets & the dining room table. Are we gonna have s'mores later?

So, I persist in hating everything Body & Soul. Not a shocker, I know. I also hate all things Leo Stark, again not even news but now Javi is pulled into that vortex. I have always loved Little Rachel, demon spawn of the combination of Kristen & Brady's worst parts, combined. But, she's not been fun in this story - at all. Big Rachel? Who could like that? She's awful! And, I don't want to harp on it, but the set just looks like a random storeroom. Aremid? The Woman in White? Really? Where? Cause I am neither seeing it nor feeling it. It's as if the craptastic quality of B&S has spread to the other scenes in the show!!!
