  1. The NYC cast migrating to Florida and doing the Legacy series would be quite inspired. I feel like *something* will be done with the OG NYC cast at some point, even if they rest a couple more years. Re: Days of Our Wives' Y&R intro... Whitney's up close hair shot was giving me shades of Melody Thomas Scott. And something about Heather's worked for me; a half-angst/half-orgasmic look as the gazes off into the distance.
  2. Ooh I like, and yes I'm glad the "friends of" are included. Gosh, they keep stringing us along... I can't wait to see what the final roster for OC will be. Cheering for our girl Taylor Armstrong to make the official cut! LOL at the other 6 castmembers getting sick and tired of the back 'n forth between Bad Weather. It's like, we GET it. The dumbass who needs her Bravo paycheck thinks it's hypocritical for cousin to write about about leaving the Mormon church while still being on "the list", while Heather says she's already left in every sense of the word other than making it "official." It took 15 years for Whitney to be officially excommunicated, and Heather doesn't want to bother with the long process. Like the Miami woman said, it's like a couple that has completely separated without getting an official divorce (but less so, because, it's just a freaking church). Whitney keeps stringing this along and then does that tackyass mess at the end of saying the top 3 secrets she thinks Heather is hiding. If we never speak of the black eye again, it'll be too soon.
  3. Oh gosh that reunion was everything. Absolutely everything. My hubby & I still quote Nene... and Kandi... and... That was also the year my opinion of Porsha finally changed for the better. "You in the hot seat now, bitch. Enjoy it! Enjoy your moment." :::nod:::
  4. Agreed. If she's gone, by the time she stops airing, she'll already be back on set to return within 6 months. I wish they'd stop dicking us around with Chloe. And enough with the 8-year-olds in boarding school; WHERE is Parker? With Nancy and.... Mike?
  5. RE: Jill Sigh... I saw that. What could've been. (And boy, what a view she had!)
  6. If true, was Martha Madison even on contract? It seems half the "main" players are on recurring anyhow, so they go "OUT" and "IN" as they please.
  7. RHOBH: I like the fact they're throwing in everything but the kitchen sink (Vanderpump). Of course, the Rinna rimmers online will say it's because the show is lost without her. But I'll gladly take the return of Camille, and visits from Kim and Denise, plus a Housewives crossover with Cynthia (dual pop-ups, with her appearing on ATL this season, too). I get what you're all saying about Kim and Denise, but in Denise's case I feel there's unfinished business and Garcelle can help facilitate that. As for Kim, there's all that Richards sisters baggage... is Kathy filming? RHUGT3: This has shaped up to be a surprisingly fun arc. It makes me miss Porsha, appreciate Candiace more, confirm my strong dislike of Leah, and makes me wonder what the heck is up with those goofy Miami women. It's a good thing Tinsley turned down the opportunity and they got Porsha in her place, because I don't think the show would be popping if she wasn't on. I continue to love these girls trips and their 4th wall breakdown, with people talking about losing friendships and such for the sake of having "a moment" on reality TV (Salt Lake City ladies, I'm talking about you; Gizelle, I'm talking about you).
  8. And the OG of fabulosity - Camille!
  9. And another thing: They need to scale back by 1 actor on how many are shown. The music has nearly faded out completely by the time we get to the HOLLYWOOD LIGHTS Y&R.
  10. Whomever it is, it's a modern day version of Another World's mid-80's silhouette of two lovers' profiles coming in together for a kiss. + 1 I hope this is some weird temporary 50th Anniversary intro and they'll go back to normal in the next week or so.
  11. I nearly forgot it was already out. Thanks for the heads up!
  12. It's like 2 different shows. DAYS' cast is so overcrowded as it is; no wonder half the actors are on recurring. She definitely could've been in toothpaste commercials...
  13. LOL the skyline photos made me think of Edge of Night - The LA Years too.
  14. I grew to like her. Initially, I was disappointed with Shayna Rose being replaced. She wasn't the typical cookie cutter young leading lady and I liked it.
  15. Oh gosh, that's.... pedestrian.
  16. Peter Reckell always generates heat with his leading ladies, IMO.
  17. Yeah, she's pretty milquetoast. Hennig had more pizzaz. She's like the Stephanie Cameron to Missy Reeves' Jennifer Rose.
  18. Talk about a missed opportunity. I'd still like to know when/how they discovered it was Penelope Kent floating in The Killing Pool, but much like Maya and the mysterious goop in 2003, some questions will never be answered... I remember this, and Reilly being the subtle writer that he is, when Chelsea and Billie (Julie Pinson) shook hands when they first met, there was this long pause as Billie looked in Chelsea's eyes and we the audience knew right away she was "dead" baby Georgia.
  19. If Frank and his girlfriend remain intact, it'd be kinda cool if she became a Housewife next season, in order to keep it all in the family (as the family connections with castmembers may cease to exist next year)
  20. Agreed; he's the ultimate catch. Is he the one that gave us Willow the Hooker who was involved with Shawn? And Shawn and Belle were on the run from Phillip with Claire in some island location? I seem to recall early 2007 was when DAYS toyed with the idea of completely backburnering John/Marlena, Bo/Hope, and other vets in an effort to use the younger, cheaper cast and it backfired.
  21. Team Eva. Everything she said made sense. I wouldn't be surprised if Braeden was butt hurt because she implied soap actors don't make a lot of money. Relax diva, she was a young newbie then; you're a veteran who demands special treatment (trust me); we KNOW you make more than what she did.
  22. The poor Spectator really downsized. Granted, it IS a struggling newspaper, so there's that... I wonder if Greta's gay BFF Harold still works there?
  23. ...for the same reason why soap fans get/got mad when their octogenarian favorites weren't given frontburner storylines anymore even though the actors could barely remember their lines. For a good 20+ years now, so many soap fans (of all the soaps, not just DAYS) were only interested in their 80's/90's favorites, and the newbies were rejected by and large. So here we are, 2023, and our adventurous superheroes need walking canes and hearing aides (Drake is sporting one, yes?)
  24. +1 on the Christopher Sean lust love...
  25. I wish they'd use their theme for the ending credits. And now that we're on Peacock with Peacock-produced shows, why not bring back the FULL opening theme song?
