There was chemistry with Holmes and HBS but there also was with BH and HBS….I thought it was one of the best triangle in soaps. Once HBS left all of that fizzled….and Adam not being Tom's kind of didnt matter anymore. To me SH and ED had very little to no chemistry especially at the beginning….as for Glynis she seemed like another character and actually made ED return as Margo a big relief even though HBS should have returned but unfortunately it didnt happen.

I would have taken Hilary B. Smith and Gregg Marx at the end of the shows run. Justin Deas, they might've been able to get but I doubt they could've gotten Margaret Colin, she does films and primetime TV and stage now. She's pretty busy. I would've loved Hillary and Gregg to unite. They were smoking hot in their day. No offense to Scott Holmes and maybe it was how androgynous they'd made Ellen Dolan but there is no way that John and Lucinda should've had so much more sexual chemistry than Tom and Margo and by the time they got to Dolan and Holmes that's exactly what happened. I never cared for Ellen and Scott's version of Tom and Margo. Ellen was never Margo for me. HBS owned the role of Margo. Scott was only good with HBS Margo. Justin Deas bloated up way too much to have been Tom at the end of ATWT run.

Why hire people who aren't going to be there? Michelle and Candace have been MIA especially Michelle. She is doing her play…sounds familiar….oh yeah Rosie Perez…..I don't miss Candace but seriously hire people who will be there for the whole season.

I guess some people really don't look better cleaned up. He just looks creepier. Ha….he looks a little better …too bad his acting never improved….GH sure has hired some bad actors as of late.

So are they going to put them out again on DVD? Id love to see more 80s stuff of the show.

You need to pick up the DVD collection. It is a treasure to have! Can't wait! I wish they would start with the Bubba years. I can't stand the Buzz and Sonya years…yuck!

Its sad the show fell apart after Marland's death. I am sure a lot of vets were crossing their fingers for the best to no avail. I had high hopes when FMB and Lorraine Broderick were brought on board. I thought they would save ATWT. They started off really strong and the ratings went up but then FMB had to hire her friends and LB writing went south. The ratings for ATWT after Marland's death were still good/great…I think it was because the bible Marland left was still being used. But the more than a year comment by Wagner makes me think that his bible was over in late winter 94 because thats when the ratings started sliding and the stories weren't the same.

Speaking of Kelly..what has happened to her career? I agree that her last album was pretty good but didnt muster any hits. There were some songs I was going to download from iTunes but forgot and never bought them.

I noticed she had gotten a lot of nominations but IMO Blank Space is in no way Song or Record of the year…its one of my least favorite from her album.

I can't speak on whether it was across the board but IMO, everything on ATWT started to dip around the mid 90s. There were still some good storylines but a LOT of poor ones and all inconsistently told. The stories went downhill once Marland passed. The writers had no clue what they were doing. The show's cancellation notice was in 93 when Marland left the show.

Yeah, John looks real good doesn't he? I noticed last night that he had returned to acting. I need to see his work from 2000 on that were movies…Here is a video on his music…its about 6 years old…from 2009….man does he still look good…or even better….I agree with Khan and you about him….he was a great find…too bad TPTB couldn't convince him to stay…and its great to see he is still acting. Dani was written worse than Ryder. I did like Ryder and Kerr Smith in the role. I forget if this was pre or post Dawson's Creek. The problem with Ryder was the writing and he just didnt seem like a Hughes. I think John Dauer would have made a better Ryder even though the writing for the character wasn't every good. I think Noelle was just too saccharine for Lily, which says a lot b/c it doesn't get anymore saccharine than Lily. at you saying Jeremy probably made him realize he was gay. I don't remember much about this pairing but I do remember Nikki being moody a lot and not liking Carly. Heather Rattray's Lily was not generic or saccharine…. Yes, Nikki was moody a lot but the pairing of her and Jeremy were liked by the fans of the show. That sounds just awful and depressing…LOL….I liked Nikki more than Dani…I think it was the actress that played Dani I didnt care for.

I think he would have done the story well. He would have been better than Van Hansis. Van was good at the beginning but went downhill with all the hype. He got a little bit better when Dr. Reid showed up. I loved how Dr. Reid didn't take any of his SHT at the beginning…LOL
