Irna wrote that Liz was to die but Liz spent too long in the hospital dying and fans complained. So Liz Lived. Jane House quit the role. ATWT recast the role of Liz with actress Judith McGilligan Irna decided a few months later to kill Liz. She tripped up the stairs and ruptured her liver. Liz was dead by the end of the episode.

I posted this because I rewatched the scene and you can HEAR Gio scream before they cut back to Joss/Trina and then the pool with Krissy in it.

After Kristina landed in the pool they show BLQ and Gio. Gio looks like he was about to scream but the scene cut to Kristina floating underwater in the pool. So maybe that is why Gio's face had that expression.

I trust MVJ knows what she is doing.

I say Lois & BrookLynn should revive L& B records on their own. Then have Blaze, Gio and Trina as clients. I did not have Lois & Sonny's friendship that went back decades blowing up on my GH Bingo card for 2024.

There is a difference here too: GH, AMC & PC had long histories. The Gates is a clean slate. This group will help create the History for The Gates hopefully long run.
