  1. So we're going to see two releases this year? The USB re-release + new album she's recording in the bus, as per Akon?
  2. Yep. He needs to axe a few more.
  3. EastEnders: six characters to get the chop. But are they the right ones?
  4. Is Diederick Santer gay?
  5. Wow. Alvin is fierce when a soap catches his interest. And equally uninterested and the soap is dead to him when he stops watching. Cruel!!!

  7. http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/soaps/s15/home-and-away/news/a214849/nicodemou-meagher-deserves-gold-logie.html
  8. It would be great if he sacked them all!
  9. I like this guy. I hope he cleans up the messy dreck.
  10. LOL! He is a member of Why does no one on EastEnders have their own washing mashine?! John Yorke: http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=671123948
  11. And I believe this is Sharon Batten: http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=666610218
  12. Love it when Alvin snoops around Twitter and the rest! I wonder if she has a Facebook account.
  13. Isabelle Huppert will make an appearance in the final episode: http://blog.taragana.com/e/2010/03/31/french-star-isabelle-huppert-to-guest-star-on-law-order-special-victims-unit-finale-104887/ And Sharon Stone is coming, too.
  14. She ran the show together with Chuckie in the last season. You can find a nice interview with her here: http://cornellsun.com/node/26350 She says she watches soaps. I wonder which ones.
  15. Perhaps he'll dump him. All these story producers have a best before dates. We'll see.
  16. I was thinking more like trying to revamp completely the writing team? He won't? That's good. Pretty much he has all what he needs, and I'm sure if he wants to bring an actor, the BBC people will allow, he just needs to invest, re-align and use it all properly.
  17. For longer, I don't think so. An episode or two? Perhaps. I just hope Kirkwood doesn't mess things up. What is his reputation ego-wise?
  18. And that one's going so well? They had no problem to lure him back in the past. It was, of course, only for a few episodes.
  19. Then they'll bring Tony Jordan. Hopefully, Kirkwood won't mess too much with writers and bring his horde, because that would be disastrous.
  20. You should do it more often! I love it when you snoop around! For all the Sharon Batten's talk about how EastEnders is written, and she really went into detail, I now know less than I did before! How do they coordinate the whole thing? We have a story meeting every several months, I presume at regular intervals, the in-house writers pitch stuff and then what? Someone writes it all down in one big, whopping story document or no? Do scriptwriters work off of outlines or what? How do they establish the exact sequence of events, from episode to episode? How does the guy on Thursday know what happened in Wednesday script?
