  1. Come on Y&R! Or should I say Josh as he seems to have all the power. Bring back Jaime Lyn Bauer and Janice Lynde. Even as recurring characters. They could add so much to the show.
  2. EB overreacted. I get the context of her reaction to seeing an old clip and her explanation.
  3. Peacock has to improve their editing. The credits thing was weird. But memo to Days directors. Do NOT ever show Colton Little's back again. The mole thing was gross. Connect the dots. Not attractive.
  4. Congratulations to Days! I complain about it but I would complain even more if it was taken off the air. Congrats!
  5. I see what you did there. The 2 squirts and if you saw today's show and the Leo scene when he had his sleep mask on.
  6. This exemplifies the state of Daytime. 1 nominee. This isn't a "win" for Days. It's a 'no one cares anymore' trophy.
  7. @janea4oldI remember them introducing Leonie Norton as Julie Siegel Tolland. I remember them doing a voiceover for that. I also remember the Marcy Wade storyline. Francesca James wore a leather jacket and hid the gun under it. And the Meredith hostage storyline which went on all summer until she was killed off.
  8. LOVE it! Was there even a Feb SLEEPS? I slept through it.
  9. Hey, at least Dr. Rolf didn't request asparagus in the clam chowder. Dr. Rolf is whacked and he makes me laugh. He's a strange character.
  10. Dr. Rolf badly wanted a bowl of the famous Brady Pub clam chowder. Brady was generous enough to give him 3 bag of crackers with the chowder.
  11. Days is so BAD. The talking urns, the not so dead women in chambers. Terrible terrible terrible. Sony fired the wrong breakdown writers.
  12. This is exactly why Sony needs to fire ALL of Days breakdown writers as well as the headwriter and co-headwriter. I'm not putting this all on Giddens, but he has said that he pitches ideas and they get either yes or no. My point is that breakdown writers do pitch stories. Fire them all. Start new. LOL! Days is SO bad! I thought that being on Peacock was going to be the savior of the show.
  13. Oh Tom, believe us viewers. WE are so happy that you are no longer in the circus of daytime. Tom Casiello - the guy who put in his profile that he was the one in the writers room who took the longest to read the lunch menu. He was concerned about lunch.
  14. Good! Now if only Sony would extend the firings to the Days breakdown writers as well. It's way past time to shake up the writing on these shows.
  15. KUDOS to Josh Griffith!!! If only DAYS (we're looking at you Giddens) would do the same. Get rid of the useless dead weight. Why are there so many writers who turn out crap? Headwriter to dialogue. We've all been bitching about the writing for years. Kudos to Josh Griffith for having the balls to shake things up. There were way too many writers in the writers room. Days (if it stays on the air) needs to follow suit and fire about 90% of its staff. You can hate Josh all you want. I admire him.
  16. If one of them is Sara Bibel, THANK YOU JOSH!!!!!
  17. Jean Arley was a disaster at OLTL, in my opinion. Ratings fell and they couldn't get Paul Rauch in there soon enough. Tom deVilliers worked on AMC for years afterward as an associate producer. He was at AMC a long time.
  18. None of the cancelled soaps in this century were as BAD as Days is right now. Talking urns? The devil again? The three ladies are not really dead? (Which we all knew). Days is just so ridiculous right now. The move to Peacock has made the show even more dumbed down than on NBC. Maybe Bo & Hope can save this mess.
  19. Where are the Brooks sisters? Barbara Crampton - blah. Never liked her. This is the 50th for god sake. I hope there are 'surprise' visits that they haven't released yet. This list is so dull. Where's Victoria Rowell? I realize that they've already produced the anniversary shows. What a waste of an opportunity to celebrate 50 years on tv. Thumbs DOWN!
  20. Bill Hayes is doing a great job playing the devil again. Kudos to Days for giving this material to a 97 year old actor. The whole storyline is ridiculous but the actors are giving it their all.
  21. So there ya go. Because you take pictures, all is well.
  22. Can't wait for Bo & Hope. Days needs.............something. Anything. The show has been so dull. I wonder why they fired the Allie actress. She was bad but usually they sign the younger people for 3 or 4 years and they let her go early in her contract. She must have been a nightmare.
  23. And when Chanel did finally find her keys, it was this huge ass bunch of keys. I cringe at how that even made it to air. There was no one in the booth who questioned the stupidity of the scene, especially on a Friday cliffhanger? Allie and Alex are better than Allie and Chanel.
  24. Who greenlighted today's ridiculous episode of Days? It was so bad. Badly staged, badly directed, badly written. This is why Days was banished to Peacock (where it is NOT #1). The last scenes where Chanel has this tiny tiny purse and can't find her keys is so stupid. She can't find her big ass key ring in that tiny purse while Allie and Alex make stupid faces at each other. Stupid stupid stupid. A new soap opera ridicule moment. Days has gotten worse since the move to Peacock.
