  1. Well well well looks like CBS has ended paying Victoria Rowell after all. I kid. But I can't wait! I never got to see Neil/Dru/Malcolm/Olivia in their heyday. I agree with @Chris B, their Japanese wedding would be fantastic to see.
  2. Thanks for sharing @NothinButAttitude That episode should've just been all Viki and Dorian in the secret room. The rest was nothing but filler and badly structured. The montage at the end was so random.
  3. I did enjoy for a hot minute when Victoria claimed she was done with men after Travis (?) left her. But then only a few months later she was with JT.
  4. Thank you! Yes, I was looking for the scene of Bill recognizes her from "somewhere".
  5. Olivia Winters (Tonya Williams) was on B&B in 2011, does anyone know where one might find a clip or a link to the episode (s?)?
  6. I don't recall if AL and TL had strong chemistry, they had Colleen pretty heavily involved with her professor at that time. But I'm sure they would've made it work, she and DS were great recasts. I think the show kept trying for a decade with diminishing results to build up the AA canvas until they just decided that Neil, Devon and Hillary was enough (Lily too I suppose, I don't like to talk about her) and now they don't seem to care at all. At least Bryton can still pay his mortgage.
  7. Ah, thank you. Olivia slept with Brad. She was upset (I guess? I can't remember her motivation well) that Ashley was lying to Brad about Abby's paternity.
  8. Nikki, Ashley (that wig...) and Victoria's highlighter yellow hair in this 2002 episode is bothering me so much. I hate what they did to Olivia in this story. Your best friend is battling cancer so you sleep with her husband. That's not even in her character. Her wig in this episode is also tragic. Cassie was always such an oddly written child. How old is she here? 10? What 10 year old says something like "I thought you had something on your mind, mom." Like what? Camryn Grimes is a cutie though. Killing Cassie to keep Nick and Sharon "young" was a huge mistake, it's just allowed the characters to continue acting like teenagers for 15 years. What was Phyllis pissy about at the wedding? I'm guessing her scenes with Jack were excised. I've always thought inter-cutting Victor and Nikki's vows with Ashley admitting Victor is Abby's father was masterful. The story is icky and offensive but they rung every drop of drama possible out of it. That's what I miss most about Y&R, they would hit every beat no matter how long it took.
  9. There was zero because Keith Hamilton Cobb played every scene like he couldn't stand the woman he was talking to. He treated Phyllis and Dru like nuisances. And then they gave him an utterly tragic and depressing backstory. Which he couldn't pull off because he's not the best actor. I swear all of his charisma lied in those dreads he cut off. I'm not sure there were any real plans for either character other than to give Billy and Mac a friend group to interact with but the actors and characters took off so the show decided to give them layers and stories beyond best friend and teenage heavy. It's a real shame what they did to JT (and Mac and Billy), his love story with Colleen was one of my favorites.
  10. I can't say for sure (some AMC historian please provide insight) but I think some of the humor started with Opal in the early 80s and of course Carol Burnett was on the show in 83.
  11. Wasn't AMC known for it's humor long before SB premiered?
  12. So it was exactly as presented? I'm shocked, I thought for sure Katherine was up to something. Thanks for the info on Keith Dennison, what an odd choice they made. I quite enjoyed Victor doing Nikki's makeup, you can always tell when Braeden likes a scene, he's got a great smile.
  13. This is Keith Dennison with Jill in this 98 episode right? Who cast him? I'm sorry but this guy doesn't seem to fit Y&R's...aesthetic. Especially with Jess Walton look like a billion dollars. Joshua Morrow is a handsome neanderthal but my goodness he is one dry actor. Sandra Nelson does read older than Michelle Stafford. Phyllis and Michael were an actual couple? I know they had sex but they were in a relationship too? Why did Katherine offer for Jill to live with her? Did she have an ulterior motive or was she just expecting Jill to say no? Unpopular opinion but Heather Tom is the only truly great actor in the Newman family. EB is lazy and shouty, MTS is wonderful but she's a little too "on" for me, all breathy and whispery. And of course Amelia Heinle is one of the worst actors on daytime. Has Y&R had a daytime star successfully join from another show other than Peter Bergman?
  14. I couldn't actually watch this due to secondhand embarrassment but here you go...
  15. I'm shocked by how young she was.
  16. Lmao I wasn't trying to hate. I just turned on my ability to see signatures (after years) and it was like woah. You do you! Thanks! Sounds like good ol Victor. This prompted me to look up that period. I'd forgotten that Patty killed Zapato, I loved that dog. And apparently Victor got another lab and gave it to Nick? I'm guessing we haven't seen him since.
  17. Nikki has two dead husbands and you'd never know it. Speaking of dead spouses, did Victor mourn Sabrina at all? I doubt he's mentioned her since. @Taoboi I keep thinking your signature is a new post
  18. Bless you! I KNEW it was the Chancellor dining room but was so sure that I was wrong. It's fascinating watching Jill turn into Katherine. A grown woman attacking this poor girl. What an absolute monster. "Why are you talking like this? We're only in high school." Poor sweet Mac. Haha! Yes! That was totally the undercurrent.
  19. Thank you. He's not Barbara Walters, he's a moderator just trying to get these actors to reminisce not trash producers or writers. If they happen to while talking about the past that's on them but I don't expect him to pull it out of them.
  20. I would have loved to see the Billy/Mac prom night episode where Jill absolutely eviscerated Mackenzie in the Chancellor living room. I BELIEVE that was the first episode of Y&R I ever saw and I instantly fell in love with Jess Walton. She scared the sh*t out of me.
  21. Kristen and Eddie Alderson had such thick accents as children.
  22. Wow she was only there for 2 years? She made quite an impact, such a big impact they kept that struggle couple together despite a terrible recast.
  23. So they can upload this clip to youtube but not the episode to CBS All Access? Mess.
  24. Jenny is so naive, poor thing. How long were they in the city for? Just that one summer? The scene with Angie's father and Jesse's uncle (about 24:20 in) is great, I wish it wasn't cut off.
