Yup. I could make a case for MCE before I can for MO when you consider pure acting talent. MO for me is the epitome of white mediocrity that has saturated daytime for a while. Someone with a pretty face for middle America but doesn’t really standout from a talent standpoint, yet she stays with a storyline while others, both black and white, are sidelined or given scraps.

MO is forgettable. The problem with this show is they don’t know when to move on when something isn’t working anymore. The Adam/Chelsea angle is an example of characters who don’t need to be on this show but are propped up because the HW is obsessed with them.

I don’t like when characters are aged literally in one episode. Maybe it would have been a good idea to send Faith away for a few months with a new actress.

Sharon case is usually solid, but she’s been acting more like an airhead actress the past few years at times. Almost comical like MS. Could be the writing or her acting choices trying to keep up with the faster pace and vibe of the writers.

Thank you to whomever uploaded the Billy and Mac clips along with episodes from 2000-2002. So much great stuff.

I personally don’t care about Andrews. That’s a FBI issue not BRF issue. Not sure why people keep conflating the two.

Personally, I don’t believe Meghan either. Many people in the UK saw her up front for months. Disrespecting protocols and essentially marketing herself for publicity. I think she lied a lot about a lot of things. People with personality disorders lie about a lot of things for attention and sympathy. Sharon shouldn’t be fired for stating her opinion otherwise what’s the point of The Talk. And I doubt Meghan ever had plans to stay in the UK. She used the Royal family for fame and monetary opportunities in Hollywood, hence the interview.

He was actually a good one? I think soap writing lost its way in the early 2000s.

Yeah. Josh is safe for the foreseeable future. Sony is riding with him until the end.

Lol. Passions was an acquired taste. I think it was creative for new age soap fans and not the established ones.

All My Children and Days. AMC seemed to be a contrived version of Y&R or Bold with inferior talent and sets. Days..Just never interested me.

I refuse to watch the Kay/Jill maternity reveal. Possibly one of the worst moments in Y&R history for me personally.

I can’t see Ashley Bashioum and DT playing out finding out they were cousins. I can’t see HT’s Victoria with Billy or JT. I can’t see MS’s Phyllis hooking up with Billy. I can’t see Davetta Sherwood’s Lily with Cane.

He looks significantly older than both.

I kinda felt Kay Alden started the process of tanking the next generation by killing Mac and Billy. JT and Britney never did it for me as younger lead characters and they were loosely connected to the overall cast. To the original poster, I do think Jolleen should have been the endgame couple. I think the writers overestimated the appetite for a Mac/JT pairing because they saw Thad as the new “it” guy within the teen scene after Jolleen was successful and thought the fans who were watching during the height of Mac and Billy’s story would root for him as a replacement for their girl. It didn’t happen and barely anyone cared. Britney and JT did make sense because in 2000 JT did want Britney. I think the writers should have put them together once Raul left instead of having Britney with Bobby and JT with Mac before eventually reuniting Jolleen. I kinda blame it on poor recasting and too many regime changes at HW and EP. They also attached too many younger characters like Lily and Billy to people like Victoria and Cane for years. Speaking of SORAS, JT’s Billy is too old.

The conversation probably would have hit harder coming from Amanda and not Billy. CK and her portrayal of Lily has benefited from colorism more so than any character/actress I can recall.

It’s very weird seeing a normal Tricia Dennison on the show. Lol Ash Bashioum was very powerful her first year on the show. Wish she got more opportunities like this her last year or so on the show.

Great! Do you have the next episode with Billy and Mac breakup scenes? I wish Ashley Bashioum stuck around to play those scenes with David Tom instead of KK. Although I’m not sure if the broke them up to give KK room to grow outside the pairing or if it was planned from the beginning. Thanks
