Yup. I could make a case for MCE before I can for MO when you consider pure acting talent. MO for me is the epitome of white mediocrity that has saturated daytime for a while. Someone with a pretty face for middle America but doesn’t really standout from a talent standpoint, yet she stays with a storyline while others, both black and white, are sidelined or given scraps.

MO is forgettable. The problem with this show is they don’t know when to move on when something isn’t working anymore. The Adam/Chelsea angle is an example of characters who don’t need to be on this show but are propped up because the HW is obsessed with them.

I don’t like when characters are aged literally in one episode. Maybe it would have been a good idea to send Faith away for a few months with a new actress.

Sharon case is usually solid, but she’s been acting more like an airhead actress the past few years at times. Almost comical like MS. Could be the writing or her acting choices trying to keep up with the faster pace and vibe of the writers.

Kevin, Chloe, and Chelsea all ran their course as characters and never should have been brought back. I would prefer someone like Mac to be brought back rather than dusty Chloe. Add in Michael Baldwin who is now a glorified day player and even Lauren is useless. I’m tempted to also throw in Phyllis into the pile.

Thank you to whomever uploaded the Billy and Mac clips along with episodes from 2000-2002. So much great stuff.

I personally don’t care about Andrews. That’s a FBI issue not BRF issue. Not sure why people keep conflating the two.

Personally, I don’t believe Meghan either. Many people in the UK saw her up front for months. Disrespecting protocols and essentially marketing herself for publicity. I think she lied a lot about a lot of things. People with personality disorders lie about a lot of things for attention and sympathy. Sharon shouldn’t be fired for stating her opinion otherwise what’s the point of The Talk. And I doubt Meghan ever had plans to stay in the UK. She used the Royal family for fame and monetary opportunities in Hollywood, hence the interview.

I’m hoping to see less Sally/Summer scenes and more Sally/Jack scene.

He was actually a good one? I think soap writing lost its way in the early 2000s.

Yeah. Josh is safe for the foreseeable future. Sony is riding with him until the end.

Lol. Passions was an acquired taste. I think it was creative for new age soap fans and not the established ones.

All My Children and Days. AMC seemed to be a contrived version of Y&R or Bold with inferior talent and sets. Days..Just never interested me.

I refuse to watch the Kay/Jill maternity reveal. Possibly one of the worst moments in Y&R history for me personally.

I can tell some people can’t handle when actors or actresses are criticized. This is tame compared to soap boards in the late 90s/early 2000s. It didn’t matter if it was a child actor or an adult. Lol

MS has paid her dues, although I’ve been disappointed with her return. HK along with MO and many others on this show have probably not been fired because of their looks, that’s it. Their ability to carry a story is questionable while better talents have been fired Of course not. JG is good at telling the beginning and end. That’s it. He’s not a Kay Alden or even Bill Bell Jr (when he wants) who will develop major twists and turns and give purpose to viewers to root for or against a character or couple. Sort of the same happened with Amanda. She showed up and barely anything happened and then she was dumped into a story with Billy and then passed off to Devon like nothing happened with the former. Of course now we getting some back story which has been all over the place.

I’m game for this along with Sally sleeping with Nick. Phick is old news! Chloe and Chelsea both need to leave town.

Phyllis vs Sally is a better rivalry than Sally vs Summer who seems overmatched and small next to Sally.

They always bring him back and said Brad never died, but obviously it would screw up continuity on B&B.

I don’t either lol Totally this. Every time I watch the show, I’m like who is this? I just can’t see him and even Taylor together let alone with Brooke.

Honestly, airtime isn’t a great measure on this show. The problem I see is she’s becoming more of a comedian rather than acting, but this has also been noticeable in others too. For someone who has followed Michelle for nearly 20 years, it’s disappointing and cringy to see.

It’s totally bizarre and comical. She seems to be playing Nina from GH more than Phyllis. Definitely not the MS I remember, but I guess they haven’t given her any serious material since she returned and she’s acting accordingly.
