  1. https://www.instagram.com/p/DGD2hinvOHh/ February 14, 2025 cadymcclain A beautiful morning in a welcoming city. Happy Valentine’s Day to all who celebrate! Love is love!! 💗 😆❤️ ___________ ^ is that Atlanta? New York? somewhere else?
  2. Cady McClain is a surprise to me. I find this all surprising because, like Kimberly McCullough, Cady seemed to have transitioned into directing. Cady acted in a one-woman show at a summer theatre a couple of years ago, but generally didn't do much acting. She's been the artistic director of a theatre in New York for the past three years https://www.axialtheatre.org/whoweare That may have been part of the reason why she did only infrequent short-term stints as substitute Jennifer Horton on DAYS. Cady lists her various projects here: https://www.linkedin.com/in/cady-mcclain-71439325 I wonder if she'll continue at the Axial Theatre while working part-time at BTG? The SOD article quotes Cady in a way that makes it sound like a significant role at BTG. (unless it's a short-term significant role?) I don't know. This sounds rather meaty: “I’m just so thrilled to be a part of this incredible cast and this amazing show,” McClain enthused. “I think it is so exciting. It’s such a beautiful production [with] such amazing actors, and I have the great pleasure of getting to work a great deal with Karla [Mosley], and we have so much fun— probably too much fun!” Pamela will be in the thick of storyline with Mosley’s character, Dani. “We play very, very, very, very, very dear old friends, and we get up to a bit of trouble,” McClain teased. Oh wow, Cady's IG shows she recently dyed her hair red!!!!! Must be for the BTG role? https://www.instagram.com/p/DGBA0zlxxOg/ February 13, 2025 cadymcclain Last time I went red with bangs (in 2010) I felt like a new person! As I do now! I love becoming new people, new parts of myself. It’s like unwrapping a present… Photo by the one and only Leslie Hassler! @lesliehassler .
  3. I had wondered about Jon Lindstrom, since he and Michele Val Jean have been tweeting compliments and support to one another for the past year.
  4. Still laughing at you referring to Dixie as Miss Trash because she wasn't perceived that way later on. But I'm enjoying reading your perspective! And yes re: Tad and Dixie scenes - that definitely opened a lot of doors in this storyline.
  5. I noticed that Dave Ryan was included within the nominations for writing teams for *both* DAYS and Y&R, as he was part of the writing teams for both shows during different parts of the year. This was the livestream of the Los Angeles WGA ceremony (the youtube length is 2 hours, 46 minutes, but the first 30 minutes are blank space waiting for it to start). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dD3hLppxq_U (scroll to timestamp 1:21 to see the Daytime award with tiny clips from the nominated shows, and then the Y&R acceptance speech.) At the simultaneous ceremony for WGA-East, held in New York, these writers from Y&R were present: Jeff Beldner and Marin Gazzaniga. The WGA-E video isn't up yet, but you can see pics by going here and selecting "daytime" https://dam.gettyimages.com/selects/2025-writers-guild-awards-new-york-ceremony
  6. uploaded Feb. 1, 2025 to the official Procter & Gamble youtube channel He has an "artifact" from the P&G archive? a piece of the GL set from when Reva and Josh got married.
  7. The P&G woman speaker at the podium in the video said correctly that GL was 72 years. The male background video narrator got it confused and said ATWT was 72 years. He was probably supposed to say that ATWT was one of P&G's soaps and that P&G had been doing soaps for 72 years, but he messed it up, or the script they gave him messed it up.

  10. The “56th NAACP Image Awards” will take place during an extended 2.5-hour live TV special, airing Saturday, February 22, 2025 *Live* at 8 PM EST or 5pm PST on BET and CBS. My TVListings show it will air on: CBS, BET, BET-Plus, BET-Her, Smithsonian, Comedy Central, VH1, MTV, MTV2 Pop-TV, LOGO-TV, TVLand. (presumably also on Paramount Plus at some point, either live or delayed, depending on your plan.) I seem to remember that they plan to promote BTG that night.

  12. I mentioned this on another thread, following up here: Regarding the B&B reruns week of Feb. 17-21 Don't know what will happen with B&B fashion -- now, since the amazing Jeresa Featherstone went over to BTG. OHHHH. maybe that's why the B&B reruns airing week of Feb. 17-21 were chosen? Mon Feb. 17 Eric/Ridge fashion show October 2023 -designed by Jeresa Featherstone (she has pics on her instagram) Tues Wed Thurs Feb 18, 19, 20: June 2023 remote shoot in Rome: They had to use some Italian designers to do business cross-promotion and fund the trip; but still Jeresa Featherstone was there, I saw her in many BTS pics/videos from when they filmed those episodes. (Can't explain Friday Feb 21 B&B rerun -- why they chose Dec. 12, 2024, unless it relates to a current storyline.) --- This IG video shows Jeresa's BTS for the Eric/Ridge fashion show October 2023 https://www.instagram.com/p/C-3lpTkxlmF/ -- Jeresa Featherstone in Rome May 2023 - when B&B was filming their June 2023 Rome episodes. 14. UPDATES: New details provided by @Errol here: https://boards.soapoperanetwork.com/topic/68201-btg-february-2025-discussion-thread/?do=findComment&comment=1994365 Tamara Tunie, Clifton Davis, Karla Mosley, and Daphnée Duplaix will all appear on this Feb. 17, 2025 primetime CBS Black History Month special. When I mentioned the Television Academy (text-based) online interview, I said they mention some non-CBS people in that interview; but the primetime special will be only CBS shows. UPDATE/Clarification: the Academy interview mentions the Wayans family from "In Living Color", which wasn't on CBS; but however, the Wayans will be on the CBS primetime special because they now star in Poppa's House on CBS. .

  16. Ah. that makes sense. In fact I had missed that Ashley was in London until you mentioned it, so thank you for that! Well at least there was a mention. I appreciate Eileen when we can see her. LOL I remember Sharon telling where Noah and Allie were.
  17. B&B will air twice each day during of week of Feb. 17-21. One new episode and one rerun (just for that week). During regular timeslot of B&B: regular new B&B episodes. During TheTalk's former one-hour timeslot (most recently timeslot of PriceIsRight reruns) the first half-hour will be behind-the-scenes peek at BeyondThe Gates. The second half-hour will be B&B reruns as follows: Mon Feb. 17 - Ridge/Eric fashion show October 2023 Tues,Wed.Thurs Feb 18-20: Rome episodes from June 2023 Fri Feb 21 - rerun of Dec. 12, 2024 Full rerun descriptions here: https://www.soapoperanetwork.com/2025/02/cbs-encores-the-bold-and-the-beautiful-beyond-the-gates
  18. Billy and Sally were at Ashley's Paris apartment. This is where she lives when she's working at the Jabot Paris office. (That would explain why they had to specify that Ashley was in London). I like that set, too.
  19. beginning of a 16-part twitter thread ... https://x.com/Farzad_MD/status/1890587835184324644 == In the 16-part thread, the doctor speaks of all the work they did for the CDC Epidemic Intelligence Service.... 20. (preview of a scene from Monday Feb. 17) GH Sneak: Mac Wants to Know Why Jason's Being Held Mac asks Anna why she's keeping Jason in an interrogation room if the case against him is so flimsy. 21. Not directly related to BeyondTheGates, but relevant to CBS and Black History Month. And ... With Nischelle Turner hosting this CBS special, and her also doing a cameo on BeyondTheGates, *maybe* she'll mention BTG during the special? (speculation only) CBS airing special in primetime Monday Feb. 17, 2025, "On TV: A Black History Month Special" (History of Black TV people on CBS shows) The description reads: "Join Entertainment Tonight co-hosts Kevin Frazier and Nischelle Turner for an inspiring celebration of Black excellence in television. Stars from beloved series like The Neighborhood, NCIS, and S.W.A.T. share personal stories and reflections, while honoring the trailblazing pioneers who transformed the entertainment landscape. Discover the remarkable journey and enduring impact of Black artists who continue to shape the future of television." Television Academy interviews Nischelle Turner and Kevin Frazier about this special: https://www.televisionacademy.com/features/online-originals/entertainment-tonight-hosts-kevin-frazier-nischelle-turner "ET executive producer Erin Johnson came to us and said they’d like to do a Black History Month special featuring CBS shows and how they impacted history. We were excited about doing something so personal to us." In the Television Academy interview, Nischelle and Kevin discuss their personal histories and also credit various shows and TV personalities from the past. (in this Academy interview they mention also non-CBS shows, but the special will be about CBS shows)
  22. Procter&Gamble posted an inclusivity statement blogpost dated of 1/13/2025 (one week before the inauguration of Tr*mp) P&G refers to "E. and I." (Equality & Inclusion) instead of "DEI" (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) but they indicate the same thing. blog post from P&G "How Inspirational Leaders Ignite Our Purpose: P&G's culture of inclusion fuels our people and innovation." https://us.pg.com/blogs/inspirational-leaders/ The blogpost contains descriptions of four employees who won awards for leadership, and also has within it embedded youtubes of each of the four. The videos are embedded but if it won't run for you, there's a link under each embedding that says "If you’re having issues viewing this video, watch it here." And clicking on "watch it here" will lead you to the separate youtube. They each introduce themselves, and each describes their own visual appearance for the benefit of anyone visually impaired who might be watching/listening. And they give their pronouns. Josette Floyd (African American woman), from Detroit and Cincinnati 34 years of employment at P&G, now in leadership in sales. Vice President of "Innnovative Selling Coverage". She talks about her leadership style and interacting with all her team members. She is part of the P&G Strategic Black Leadership Team. "I've seen the company make a lot of progress in the area of E&I; and in my opinion it's the right strategic business choice for the company -- but I also believe that it's just the right thing for us to do and I'm proud to work for a company that values E. and I." Trevor Hutchinson (man with a walking disability) (global toothpaste department) He talks about the P&G company "disability confidence" initiative for disabled employees to inspire confidence and success and openness. Ranya Shamoon (woman of Arab heritage who lives in Greece and works with P&G Europe baby division) She talks about creating aisles in stores for visually impaired shoppers so that they can more easily pick out the diapers they need. (Maybe it's technology within the diaper packaging maybe, I'm not sure?) Sarah Tickle, white woman, chair of human resources for P&G global home care. She talks about some of the inclusion initiatives that she implemented decades ago. She says how it may have seemed odd thirty years ago, but now this is normal.
