The latest clip (144) uploaded to the 1988 folder is labeled as "final". A MILLION THANKS to the anonymous Angel "80s clips uploader"!! You have provided so much enjoyment to everyone here, and I'm sure it took a lot of effort and internet bandwidth to get all those clips uploaded. For me personally, you have helped me endure this dumpster fire of a year 2020. Every day, I reserve about an hour to watch 2 of your clips, and for sure it is a highlight of the day. So many rare precious scenes I'd never dreamt of ever seeing! The death of Cash (he is now officially my favorite Katherine love interest), the debut of Jerry Douglas and the Abbott home set, Lorie and Stuart's final scenes, a near-complete Katherine's facelift story, Ashley's breakdown.... the list goes on and on and on.... THANK YOU THANK YOU!!

Yes! Some of her last scenes around Feb '88 were Amy doing detective work for Jill, hunting down Nina's past lovers. She came back for 2 random eps around March '90 where she taught aerobics and flirting with Nathan, before disappearing. Seems like Bell had some plan for Amy and Nathan, but Stephanie Williams got a contract on GH as Simone so she bailed.

Now that most of the “Jack works at a homeless shelter” story has been posted in the clips, I’m curious – what are people’s impression of the story? I watched the original airings as a teen and assumed that this story would be used to “humanize” / “redeem” Jack… but that didn’t wind up being the case… he just went back to his scheming dastardly ways in ’87. Do you think this was just one of Bill Bell’s “summer social issue” stories... or maybe it was originally intended to redeem Jack but then later they decided to go another route… or…?

In this Beth Maitland podcast from 2013, https://youtu.be/eeQhFmyyZ9g she doesn't have such positive things to say about BD. Beth was unhappy that BD coincidentally (?) released her memoir right around the time of JC's death. BD said some negative things (don't know what) in the book about JC. Beth thought it was a poor move for BD to basically wait until JC has passed before talking crap about JC. Beth also commented that she didn't work much in scenes with BD, only occasionally, but Beth said she did observe some "shenanigans" on BD's part.

I saw the Sept 81 ep where Jack fires DA’s Jill from Jabot – the Museum of TV/Paley has it in their collection. The reason he fires her is that bc Patty visits Jabot to see Jack, but Jill intercepts Patty first and impulsively tells Patty that Jill and Jack are having an affair. When Jack finds out about Jill's lie, he fires her. So while it seems that Jill had some strong points as a Jabot employee, her unprofessionalism ultimately got her fired
