  1. @ChickenNuggetz92 is a rock star!!
  2. Omg I missed it 😭 did anyone have a chance to grab it for the Vault?
  3. What do people think of Tracy Melchior as Kristen? In rewatching 2001, I find her to be an annoyingly bland Disney princess, even though she is in the "social issue" HIV story. I miss the bitchy sass that Teri Ann Linn brought to the role.
  4. I'm same as you - no sound on the mkv files. I'm on a Mac laptop. The webm files have sound.
  5. Yea, 1992 was awesome until May when Sheila left... then it was not that eventful for most of the year, until around October with Olivia's health crisis, and Ryan/Victoria's secret marriage started to become known
  6. I'm curious, for the transition from the Golden to the Silver era in 1994, do you have an specific time within that year in mind? I do - June 1994 - two events happened... perhaps in the same week(?)... that cemented the transition for me. 1) The departure of April and Heather. April's return to me was a classic Bill Bell tale, with high emotional stakes for legacy character Paul. I know April wasn't necessarily a popular character... some people thought she just "cried all the time". Some of her behavior was cringe-worthy... but it was very realistic to the situation of an abused spouse. And I thought Cynthia Eilbacher Jordan did a smashing job. Watching the original airing of April and Heather's exit that came out of nowhere, I was beyond disappointed as I was really looking forward to seeing April's recovery. 2) We lost April and Heather, and in return we got Joshua Morrow's Nick 😕 Not a fan, never been a fan, not impressed with his acting. Overall, the obsession with creating a "super-couple" in Nick and Sharon (after 2 recasts!) moves the show away from the Golden Era. Edit to add: starting around the exact same time, the retcon of Jack Abbott as a Vietnam War veteran (?!?!) also hastened the move away from those golden years...
  7. I almost completely agree with @will81 's assessment... my only edit would be to end the Silver Age in 2001. Once Ryan died and Tricia went away around Thanksgiving '01, IMO the show lost its thrill and "must-watch"-ness.
  8. Very cool, thank you! The primetime special listed as 3/1/98 I think is mislabeled, since VR is still on the show and Nikki hasn't been shot yet - I'm guessing around Oct '97? I can research the exact date on the SOC recaps when I have time
  9. Here she is! June 16, 1980 at 32:25
  10. And she was Nikki’s fellow cult member in summer ‘80. Was that supposed to be Kathy, or a different character?
  11. That happens to me too... don't know why but seems like it needs a "refresh" every few days or so. I just go back to the main link https://bit.ly/2A3Bnhv and start over
  12. Cool, thanks!! I’m obsessed with the whole storyline
  13. In reading the 2002 daily recaps, I see that Whip had a mother. Does anyone recall who played the mom?
  14. Holy cow, its Katherine’s party to expose Jill two-timing John and Rex...plus Sheila...epic!
  15. 5 more '90 eps uploaded! Many many thanks to the Angel
  16. Definitely still watching the clips but way behind you... I'm envious that you've got to see so much! Good to hear there's exciting stuff to come. I'm only on 68A - Ashley's '85 breakdown - loving it.
  17. Thank you so much @BoldRestless !
  18. The latest clip (144) uploaded to the 1988 folder is labeled as "final". A MILLION THANKS to the anonymous Angel "80s clips uploader"!! You have provided so much enjoyment to everyone here, and I'm sure it took a lot of effort and internet bandwidth to get all those clips uploaded. For me personally, you have helped me endure this dumpster fire of a year 2020. Every day, I reserve about an hour to watch 2 of your clips, and for sure it is a highlight of the day. So many rare precious scenes I'd never dreamt of ever seeing! The death of Cash (he is now officially my favorite Katherine love interest), the debut of Jerry Douglas and the Abbott home set, Lorie and Stuart's final scenes, a near-complete Katherine's facelift story, Ashley's breakdown.... the list goes on and on and on.... THANK YOU THANK YOU!!
  19. Yes! Some of her last scenes around Feb '88 were Amy doing detective work for Jill, hunting down Nina's past lovers. She came back for 2 random eps around March '90 where she taught aerobics and flirting with Nathan, before disappearing. Seems like Bell had some plan for Amy and Nathan, but Stephanie Williams got a contract on GH as Simone so she bailed.
  20. Amen! I am personally not a Lynn fan and would have been perfectly happy for Amy to remain Paul's secretary for another 20 years (while teaching aerobics on the side, of course)
  21. Thank you!! Those Sept '86 eps are especially rare
  22. Both wiki and imdb say that Alex Rebar played Vince during '79-80 and '86-87
  23. Beth said that it was her choice to leave in ‘87. Every time Traci left after that, though, Beth said she was fired.
