  1. I regret to inform you all I am once again at my wit's end with Britt after today's show. You know it's bad when a situation makes me root for Carly in this day and age. The issues are many but first and foremost is the writing trying to suggest that these spurts of truly horrendous behavior are all a deeply noble, selfless act to push people away so she can't put their lives in danger - except as many have noted online this is how Britt just already acts all the time, period. This is her baseline. There's no difference! There is no deeper, intimate core of this character that makes her any more palatable or shows any better side. There's just more whining and self-pity. And her sentiments about Rocco and needing Lulu to 'get out of the way' of their 'relationship' aren't fake either, among other wild shìt she's said. Almost as annoying though is her constantly whining about Carly being in the middle of her relationship with Jason and acting like she's somehow the only one who's ever brought this up in Port Charles, like her opinions are so novel and daring. It's giving Skye when she used to pretend she had been with the Quartermaines for her whole life and started saying 'Grandfather' 5 minutes after arriving on the show (and then wasn't even related to them). Girl, you and Jason fùcked like twice. Their relationship was barely a thing til now. If you want to talk to people who have been banging this drum since the Clinton administration talk to Robin or Elizabeth, who actually had long-standing involvement with these people and Carly's insane obsession and suffered real consequences for it. That shìt went on for years. Sam could talk about it too if she was alive. But they do this with Britt in part because they know there is an audience for it, so they figure 'hey, if Britt says it that'll get those fans on her side.' This was the same crass calculation Carlivati made about serial killer Franco suddenly deciding to have long speeches about the evils of Sonny and Carly in 2014, like suddenly mob violence outrages the BTK Killer. No thanks! I'll pass! The other difference between her and Kimberly McCullough or Becky Herbst is that KT has never had much skill for dramatic nuance or pathos, and snark only gets you so far. She's proven that in her several stints on the show followed by her multiple dramatic exits. So she can't put anything over beyond this baseline ugly behavior that is just Britt's resting state, yet I'm still supposed to care. I don't! I didn't have to root for Kari Wuhrer or Angel Boris just because their characters were against Carly, so I'm not going to start with this bitch. I've hated Britt from Day 1 and she's never changed, so why should I? Then she brought up Bobbie! Like just clock her, Carly. You can have this one, I'm good.
  2. I suspect the Danny thread is also key here. She can still hold the Danny/Scout card over Alexis' head re: the restraining order if she needs to, and I suspect that is why she is not letting Alexis put the siblings together yet (while giving Scout to Alexis). Not because she plans to let Drew handle it. She knows Drew won't be speaking up any time soon. It's leverage on Alexis.
  3. Carlton is a) still creepy and b) clearly the Impaler. Kial and Grayson will both be red herrings (or Grayson an accomplice).
  4. That would be classic, but GH rarely has those kind of guts anymore. That's not even really risky or shocking for soaps, but GH has been so highly averse to rocking their status quo in the last decade. They didn't even let Sonny walk in on Carly and Jason boning in '21. It took an outsider (PM) to help get us here.
  5. I'd be here for it at least once before Nina exits, maybe as a final fúck you to her ungrateful daughter.
  6. I think there is a lot of softness and tenderness there with the right person, albeit still intense. He's shown some with Jacinda even if I don't care about her, and Sasha. But what I think he needs right now is another strong, equally intense female partner who can match him. Which is why I thought of a driven female surgeon or someone else. Serena Baldwin is always on the table too, but I wouldn't make her that kind of hard-driving character (though she would be a philanthropist and probably involved with her mother's business). He does have chemistry with Katelyn MacMullen, but that relationship should never be sweet and purely romantic again.
  7. Rory's performance is a very specific choice and I think it works for him. But he also showed real emotion, tears of pain and rage with Willow last summer and then real softness with Jason, Tracy, etc. in the fall.
  8. There are elements of both. But he has always gravitated to the Q side of things as an adult. It's just got a much darker edge than most fans of the Qs are used to since, well, the very early '80s tbh. When Alan and Monica were at their most conniving and dangerous.
  9. I absolutely hate this stuff with doddering, weak, soon to be brainwashed Anna. I love Anna and Finola but I've made my issues with her choices in the last decade clear. I am sure she loves this material in order to plumb the emotional depths and show her range, but it makes the character look terrible. And it's likely to go on for months and months. Anna has needed to lock in and be a boss for years. The closest she came, during the Mulcahey interregnum, she still managed to weep her way through the farewell scenes with Sonny. I believe Anna can be strong again, but we're sure not there now.
  10. Rory Gibson had Mo back on his heels in those scenes with Michael angry and drinking post-verdict. It reminded me of the way Mo (or Sarah Brown, or Vanessa at times) used to destabilize some people BITD. The deeper seed here, of course, is that Michael hates Willow but clearly also still wants her, which can make this all that much more twisted. They have been wise to highlight the renewed distance between Sonny and the scheming, volatile new Michael since the recast, and it's only increased as he began actively plotting against Willow who Sonny believes is innocent. Bringing back A.J. (as a secret weapon for the family, against Drew but possibly also with his own agenda) would only enhance this further, but we can't have that when James Patrick Stuart needs a permanent home.
  11. There's no need to make her a serial killer. She has a least a couple years of more varied villainy left in her.
  12. This story is absolutely going to play through at least May. We'll be lucky if it ends before November. It's endlessly tedious.
  13. Carlton's beard continues to grow, menacingly. I still kind of miss the Ted/June angle but I am not hating Ted and Shanice. Though it is moving quick.
  14. Her career has never been that rough tbh. At least not in the last 5 years or more. The Dropout was a huge hit for her (and she was very good in it), Ann Lee is a major critical darling and while she is not at MBJ's level of stardom and likely won't be, The Housemaid has also been a sleeper success this month. (Which the struggling Sydney Sweeney needed much more than Seyfried - Seyfried does not really aim for being an A-List movie star like Sweeney does.) Point being, she's had a very solid career in a lot of both major TV and strong film. I suspect both Housemaid and Ann Lee will now up her profile further.
  15. The issue is that he does and his only purpose in life is to make the board react. It's just boring lol. And diminishing returns in recent years. Sad last days.
  16. I have no problem with Greg Rikaart. I don't watch enough DAYS in 2026 to care that much about Leo but he's always been polarizing at best for their audience.
  17. I do not care about bringing back Kai's dayplayer friend. Just find someone else.
  18. Dude has only 2 purposes on this board. 1) Telling you ad nauseam that he has famous daytime friends, for real and 2) "subtly" baiting for negative engagement via his flopsweat compliments of SON's anti-favorites at every possible opportunity. Did you know how brilliant JFP is? How amazing Carlivati is? I met them at a party and they laughed at my jokes. Don't you know how fantastic and fun Leo is every day? SON just doesn't understand the real audience. Believe what you want!! I've had him on block for years but it cracks me up any time I stumble across something like this and it is always the same 3-4 talking points. Once people stop biting he'll move on to defending McTavish or Stephen Miller or something. Gotta get the clicks!!
  19. This show drags its heels on a lot of stuff. In a less lazy regime I would give him less than 3.
  20. I don't think Willow is going anywhere. But I will be shocked if Kai is still on this show in 9 months.
  21. He's recurring. With that boring beanpole it is a matter of time before he vanishes. I'd cut him tomorrow.
  22. Naomi has consistently been wound too tight about one drama after another for the last year. She's gonna spin out sooner or later. In a smarter setup, she would spin right towards her brother-in-law. I like Eva and Izaiah together, but all they do rn is talk about how amazing the other is which is rapidly approaching becoming as boring as Jacob and Naomi were around May of last year. Lami is talented and has charisma, but he's green and sometimes delivers his line like he's going door to door selling chocolate bars for the school trip. Eva/Izaiah should be into some serious GH '96-style boot-knocking, with Izaiah being less of just a much hotter nice guy. If he had an affair with his brother's wife it would not be endgame, just an obstacle for him or Eva/Kat down the road. Failing that, let crazy Naomi fúck her BFF's new man (Jordi). I'm not picky!
  23. Honestly I'm still mentally stuck back with Giovanni Mazza prancing around in tight little black boxer briefs on Friday's show. I'm not gonna lie to you people. They didn't have to do me like that.
