Same here. What a selfish, petty little man. He seems to revel in being almost universally hated and in being part of the problem. 😡😡😡😡😡

Yes, he seemed pleased that people were discovering and rediscovering his work on TD after all those years. 😊

Unpopular opinions: cancelled soaps edition
He did terrific work, and I hated the way he was made out to be a bad guy in 2002-03 and was let go. Of course, Saint Jason has to be elevated more. 🤮

Unpopular opinions: cancelled soaps edition
I agree with this, but then BW joined the show as I started to watch it regularly in the summer of 1997 so I was unfazed by the sudden recast. I thought he sold being a recovering alcoholic, the black sheep of the Quartermaine family and a guy just plain down on his luck most of the time.

"Secret Storm" memories.
Outside of a couple of fuzzy TSS episodes that are on YouTube, my viewing experiences of Jada have solely been from seeing her on TD on Retro TV. She took over a role from a talented actress who had played that role for nearly a decade. She made the role her own. Jada just had an Everywoman presence.

It's hilarious that he got mad over that. It was so obvious!!! 😂😂😂😂😂

"Secret Storm" memories.
Jada has been on a couple of Alan Locher's chats and she referred to her son a couple of times. Nothing major, just in generalities. This is from 2010. I don't know if this is the same Sparks Grassley that is Jada's son, but here you go: https://www.ccny.cuny.edu/news/David-Willinger-Directorial-Debut

Those are all good points. It would have been nice to see Julia again post-1998, even if they couldn't get Crystal Carson.

I wonder if they thought that Brenda's sisterly relationship with Robin made Julia seem obsolete.

She has always had the IT thing and tons of chemistry with her castmates (whether they be playing love interests, family, friends, adversaries). I thought it was a mistake for the show not to bring Brenda's sister Julia back full-time. I thought they worked well together and that Brenda needed more blood relatives around.

Wow, I did not know that. That's unbelievable!

I sure hope so. I don't know if I trust Merrick Garland, even though he is a Biden appointee.

Onscreen all the time and we liked it
Do you mean she only missed two shows in her 2002 return or her ENTIRE run?
