  1. The funny thing though, I think Erica’s best writing was under Wisner Washam and not Agnes Nixon. Also, Robin Strasser may take issue with this thread, lol. Since her Rachel Davis (created by Nixon on AW) was the prototype for Erica (though Erica had existed before in the Nixon’s initial AMC bible that wasn’t picked up).
  2. I don't think there's ever been any storyline or direction during their entire tenure so far. Absolutely zero vision.
  3. Allan's first tenure was very poor, the show was indeed mind-numbingly boring. Marquess was hired as a direct result of that unfortunately.
  4. I don't know if it's loyalty, or if they just don't care and are content with riding it out until the show is canceled or these folks leave on their own accord.
  5. So, no one at CBS, Sony, or Y&R has made any comments on this yet?
  6. Jeanne Cooper must be rolling in her grave.
  7. No Way Home will lead into Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness - which is of course directed by Sam Raimi who directed Sony’s initial Spiderman trilogy.
  8. Trailer leaked yesterday, so Sony and Marvel have officially released it:
  9. Oh god, I remember folks on here and Jeremy Giddens trying really hard to make that awful actress that played Kristina happen.
  10. All characters don’t need to be connected to existing families/characters. I wish some soap fans would stop with that sh!t.
  11. Barbra's 70's peak is something very special - she was regularly topping both the pop charts and box office at this point in her career. We've never really seen someone since who had such control over both entertainment industries to the same extent. Lady Gaga is trying so hard to follow in her footsteps but does not have the same STAR power or prowess. Here are her Grammy wins for 'Evergreen' - Best Female Pop Vocal performance (very strong category that year with Linda Ronstadt, Dolly Parton, Carly Simon, and Debbie Boone also nominated), and Sony of the Year (which was a tie with 'You Light Up My Life').
  12. A lot of PC was Wendy Riche being a bit over her head - part of the reason ABC ordered it as opposed to something else was because Riche pitched the financial efficiencies they'd get from leveraging the same studio as GH, and using much of the same production and writing staff. In the end, it just never really worked out that well (and GH suffered as well with Riche putting her focus on launching PC).
  13. JiMin was killed off by Latham in one of her lame ass murder mysteries. I believe he was killed in September 2007, before the writer’s strike.
  14. That what assume Latham knew how to plan as much of her Y&R was pulling random things out of her ass.
