  1. Oh yeah they were making believers even out of people who dislike the actors so yep. I'm hoping for that pairing as well.
  2. Agree. Like I keep saying...the best thing about this Jason Return for me has been watching him reconnect with his kids, Liz, and Sam. And he's not perfect, but SB (and Jason) are showing up to work. VERY.
  3. 6-13 Woulda coulda shoulda. With the twilight of PM upon us, I can't help but watch some of these stories and see their potential and wonder what way they will go now that he's out the door. I said from GO that with the Heather storyline (like with Drew of the Hot Bread and Nina of the Claws) that it seem like PM was taking characters that the audience could take or leave and giving them purpose and (more importantly) direction. In some cases (Valentin immediately comes to mind), characters were being set up for exits. Basically following Douglas Marland's Rules IMH(but mentioned)O. It was my hope that Heather and the Hip, while started under the old HWs, was a way to not redeem Heather, but refit her into the cunning crafty character I read about her to be. And goodness knows Laura could use a sparring partner since Cyrus is not good enough and Victor is gone. Bonus...in the lead-up, the story gives Laura a storyline...as she wrestled with her conscience. And while I felt it had a great start...complete with pros and cons like the old soap operas used to show when we got all characters' POVs...it has been very blink and you missed it in storyline as of late. I felt this week got back to that because we got to see Trina talk to Laura. I definitely am feeling the missed opportunity with Trina since she has not been used much under PM, but when she's been used, we saw her POV and feelings. So the Trina/Laura scenes worked for me to get back to that. And then there's Curtis visiting Heather herself. Good to see the actor clocked in, and it was great to see AM playing a conflicted Heather. Because what could Heather said? She did that. FIVE people...dead. I even liked that Diva Reporter Guy because it does seem like GH has back something it really does not have...recurring characters who are just THAT...recurring characters. No need for anything more than that. So it would have been nice to see how the Heather storyline would have gone right up 'til the trial because even now the middle of the story was being set up this week for that. We know I don't like the surrogacy storyline. But I do love how it's given organic drama to TJ and Molly. I don't hate them as much as some...I don't even know if the hate is for the characters in general or if we just don't like this Molly recast...but it has been nice to have a little bit different from them. And their story is hitting its middle as well. It was nice to almost see Jason/Sonny/Carly make up. But nice to make people wait on that. Also...has no one figured out Sonny and the meds yet? Or Ava's scheming? I kept having that in the back of my head as I was watching. Another middle moment. Hehe. These Alexis/Diane scenes were gold. I did not even think of the personal angle to Diane by the Hook. Another wrinkle to the Heather story. And oops...what Diane used to get Franco off COULD be used to get Heather off...uh oh. Good coda. From your keyboards to God's ears. All I want is that Brenda makes him beg when she eventually returns.
  4. 6-17 Lord have mercy!!! Not Sheila!! lol but payback is a B and if anyone loves to do payback and will try to manipulate Finn right out of Steffy's life...it's Sheila. Ugh.
  5. 6-17 Oh, dear. But first...YAAAAAY to Alan asking Traci to dinner!! Like I said before, I felt a little bit of a spark between them. So fingers crossed they finally give Traci a love interest. Now the bad...this storyline...smh. Granted it tracks that if Ashley has true DID, it would be tracked all the way back to childhood. And I liked they used Jack (who apparently I didn't realized he had left to Paris) to be the voice of the audience. But this is just a BAD idea. Most viewers of Y&R have been watching forever. And they know these characters back and forth. So while there is wiggle room...I just don't feel there is THAT much wiggle room to pull this. Ever since Alan has hinted at this...I've had a bad feeling about where this part of Ashley's story is going...especially with JG writing. Getting DAYS 50th anniversary flashback. I could care less about Adam/Chelesa, but did they just give them a non-parent moment. With Billy trying to seduce Lily to the 'dark' side, could JG be finally circling back to Billy/Lily/Chelesa/Adam? I'm with Audra. How convenient Tucker has chest problems. And...what are they planning for Sharon? Oh, very clear. And yes, the one scene with the originals was FIRE. Hehe. So true. Viva La West!!!
  6. I don't disagree. But I still love watching Diane vs Nikki. And SW Diane does have her moments with MTS. Though my favorite from their brief scenes together has been when they saw each other at Crimson Lights once everyone knew Diane was alive and they had a slapfest. SW Diane really was channeling AD Diane in those scenes...something I wouldn't have believed possible with her version of Diane decades before...showing to me SW's continued growth as an actress.
  7. 6-14 Okay...that was a little more fun. lol. You go on and weave that web some more, Victor!!! I can't believe that he is trying to pull a fast one over on Tucker. But I'm not against a Victor/Audra alliance. Even if she is technically a recast, I will always love Diane vs Nikki. Because SW and MTS have their own chemistry...though I LOVE AD. And at least she said what she had to say to her face. Oh, how he stays making me laugh.
  8. Same. Something I was glad that PM did away with...Nina with no claws.
  9. God bless Eric Braden!!! THIS. Please, EVERYONE but Black Twitter dragged her from one side of Twitter to the next. I was living reading it on Wednesday.
  10. Because he's played by a sexy beast...pun intended. But seriously, I would think Brennen was a case of a great actor that was short-term that has enough chemistry and charisma to come back. And...he did. And when they FINALLY decided to give us the tea on the Pikeman story, he was giving a more cunning villain as well as setting up for Valentin to FINALLY leave because that was where it felt like it was leading. I just saw the 6-11 scene with him and Anna and they actually showed him revealing a hint of vulnerability in not answering Anna's retoretic question. He has been sly and soft and charismatic and crafty and also menacing, but up until not vulnerable. A moment that made me go hmmmm....were they planning on keeping him around under PM? Very much this. Oh, I understand. It's the PM effect. I also understand the foreboding that is coming when PM leaves. It might be good, but not the same as it was under PM. It has been nice to see him do some magic and I felt like he was following them Rules. It is just sad we will not get to see all he had planned now.
  11. 6-11 And speaking of catch-up LOL!!! And now I see what you all were talking about because that scene with Sam and Wagger was a whole *PorshaWilliams*reeeeach*PorshaWilliams* Cuz how can Wagger have Jason under this thumb for YEARS and not know about this particular ex-wife. I don't believe it. And I cannot even stretch my suspicion of disbelief to accept it. Other than the fact he has a nice back and seeing Sam work, it was not needed. And I might be in the minority, but this Finn storyline is on FIRE. But like I said about PM, he definitely did seem to take the 'if we have to use characters I don't want to write for, might as well use them for something' so he did. Cuz these Finn vs Chase scenes were great. And ME seem clocked in. Moreso than JS which shocked me, but JS rarely does anger well for me. That said...he filled out his pants reeeeal nice so lol. I will say what I'm sure I've said before. I actually feel invested. And I haven't felt invested with one of ME's characters since John from OLTL. We know any scene involving Liz I love. And I love her with her kids. And yes such a mom cuz I lmao at Jake thinking he wasn't going to be grounded. But that's Aidan's fault I guess. Lol. Like I said I feel like PM was writing Finn and Valentin out finally which I know would make a lot of people here happy so I'm sad to see him leave while Frank runs around trying to deconstruct all of PM's stories. I honestly feel like we are seeing the seeds that PM was planting slowly starting to be seen finally, but he was already out of the door which makes it sad. Stories that needed to move, started to. From Alexis's fight to get her license to Nina/Drew (and Willow makes 3) to the downfall of Sonny to Pikeman to the wedding were all starting to really take shape. Valentin felt like Dead Man Walking. And now Finn was on his way to a fall. But somewhere along the way...STALLING. But yeah...this influence is fading.
  12. Look at you @Antoyne! Getting all caught up as I do 'homework' Jealous!
  13. Excuse me??? And...ugh...so it begins.
  14. 6-13 See? I knew I was going to struggle to watch once Ashley exited stage left. Did I like anything? Well...I liked seeing Summer and Sally getting along. I liked seeing Chance. And TSJ is still looking good in his clothes. lol. And I enjoyed the episode I watched today where Tucker finally told Audra what was going on with Ashley. And Audra threw no snark. I loved Cole in his suit and Victoria has been great good all week. Cute little moment between them. So I guess other than that, I've enjoyed watching Victor weave his web over Cole, Michael, Kyle, and Diane. Cuz...VICTOR. That said...the Battle of the Newman Kids...AGAIN...yeeeah, NO.
  15. YES!!! I was just thinking that earlier!!
  16. I think for me this week it's going to be... SANDMAN SEASON 1 SUPERGIRL SEASON 4 (I still have my issues with it, but it has been flowing better than it has before. I guess Third time is the charm. lol.) SWETTBITTER SEASON 2 BEING HUMAN US SEASON 3 (which STILL holds up well)
  17. Hehe. Exactly! I have been hot and cold to Brooke over the years, but one thing I can say is that she always dresses fiercely. She's not in story much at the moment, but she stays looking good when I see her. And she tends to always look sexy. Before Carter made his comment in fact, I had forgotten she was a grandma. Could have fooled me.
  18. 6-14 Decent week. Though I guess going forward whenever Hope starts having steamy fantasy about a guy, we the audience should just assume that she is going to try to hook up with the guy. RME. I would rather Li be where Katie currently is in the Bill/Luna storyline. Though it sounds like I might just get my wish. Hehe at the idea of BROOKE'S BEDROOM coming back if only to see Steffy's head explode like Stephanie's used to. I agree with Carter. Brooke ain't at all like any Grandma I know. She still brings the sexy. And I even giggled at the humor from Ridge over the montage.
  19. I would think that he was about to get a meater story while PM was there and the former actor was still too green. It's the beard. Yeah GV and KM definitely were the hotness. One thing that I've loved under PM has been that Jason does interact with his exes more. Moreso since they do have his kids. 20. That's what I get for cross-posting when I was already multitasking. lol.
  21. RHoDubai A nice bounce back from last week. Humor, drama, AND shade!!! This week the main storyline might have been the feud between the two Carolines, but I felt the whole cast gave a little bit of something. Sara and the date. Lesa and her relationship with her mother. Ayan and that dress to the 'eviction party.' (c) Caroline Brooks. I do like that everyone in the group (at least Lesa, Taleen, and Sara) felt the same way. That there's more doing on with this feud between the Carolines rather than being a ride-or-die for Taleen. And I felt that Lesa (and Stansbury said the same in her Confessional at the end) hit it on the head. Last season, it was Ayan/Lesa vs Caroline and Brooks was friends with both. But now that they are friends with Caroline, Brooks feels some kinda of way. All of this could probably be resolved with a conversation, but Brooks being Brooks was doing the most. No wonder she got uninvited to the 'eviction party.' (c) Caroline Brooks. Thankfully, we got that conversation this episode. And can I stop for a moment to say how much I LOVvvvvVVVVVVVVVE Dubai has brought back one-on-one sit-downs where HWs can spar, talk, and shade again? Or at least they come across like old school HW scenes. Season 4 RHOA premiere with Nene v Sheree comes to mind. hehe. But this conversation...my issue was that while both Carolines brought up things they should have, the things they really should have said to the other one was SAID IN CONFESSIONALS. The things that needed to be said that would deaden the issue they were having was SAID IN CONFESSIONALS. It made the scene, standing by itself, just a bunch of surface childish issues and a STRONG sense of stubbornness from BOTH. PS. Sabu FOH is a chop for me. Too elitist. Cuz I feel real old money is completely unbothered by new money. Or at least doesn't show it immediately. You just got here, and...WHO ARE YOU? CAROLINE. THE BITCA IS BACK!!!! I've been saying it before. And I'll say it again. THIS Caroline really and truly feels like a more mature and wiser version of Ladies of London Caroline. And Caroline has been playing it to the hilt. She's fully engaged, and it's showing versus last season. And this story with her, Michael, and the house. I guess I missed it last week when she said it. But...she's GIVING. This living situation. The wacky relationship vibes with Sergio. The more serious vibes to their relationship that was popping up (therapy session, overdramatic Sergio running to Sara, wet Sergio in the pool). And of course, her feud with Brooks leading up to my favorite Confessional from her on this show so far. The Confessional where she revealed her suspicions about the feud...which was what Lesa also felt. When she said 'And now I don't need saving?' It was giving 'I'm not here for your amusement. You're here for mine.' Caroline. LOVE. TALEEN. Hahahaha...she's a Libra and her husband is a Gemini. No words, but a good match. I continued to love her this week as she double dated with Sara and was also wondering what Brooks was thinking since she was cool with Caroline post-Beyoncegate. She thinks for herself, and nothing wrong with that. SARA. I was soooooooooooo looking forward to her date as @Cat knows. But WOOOOOW!!! Sara does quirky comedy was not at all on my bingo card. Cuz that date. lol. From her 'this is not a date'...which I'm guilty of doing when my friends play matchmaker to the Libra talk to the 3 Questions cuz...ALIENS? REALLY, SARA. It was so off-beat I had to go and see when Sara's birthday was cuz that was...too much. Then I saw and gasped. Why? AQUARIUS. Then it made sense and added a layer to her at the same time. Meanwhile, I did not realize that Sara and Sergio were so close since he ran to her to vent about Caroline. Things to make you go hmmm. And now she introduced the FOH Sabu, too. Add on she was also like Lesa as they talked about the feud between the Caroline in terms of its origin, and Sara was quite busy this episode. I do want more of this quirky Sara, though. AYAN. For those who don't like her, I can say she was not in it much this episode. She was just at the party with her dress that matched the decor. And in a surprising twist for me, she was at the start of the episode as a ShebySheree style Bone Collector. Has Ayan ever been the Bone Collector? It just seemed so beneath her and off. LESA. I loved all the stuff with Lesa and her mother. It just really popped off the screen for me. It's clear the two of them are close. And just the drama that comes from that since Lesa clearly loves her life in Dubai while her mother loves her life back in the U. S. Just organic tension that did not at all take away from the two of them shopping. Meanwhile, I continue to be fascinated by how alike her and Caroline are. So interesting that she's the one that theorized correctly why Brooks might have an issue with Caroline. BROOKS. Brooks, Brooks, Brooks. I'm not even sure if I'm going to do my thoughts judgement here. Like a certain former Fabulous Ice, I've loved Brooks from Episode 1 for giving us our first read of this series. And she was messy and a great Bone Collector. I have questioned a lot of her moves so far. From filming a business where something is always broken to embarking on this ill-advised feud with Caroline, Brooks has been experiencing a second season curse. HOWEVER, as a ride-and-die friend who does not forgive even when said friend has, I could relate to that. It was a good thing to use at the sit-down as well because she had been the same with Caroline last season. But just like Caroline, the meat of the conversation was done in CONFESSIONALS. Why was that, Brooks? Just le sigh. Still...a good episode. Can't wait for Taleen vs Lesa (with a side of Ayan) next week.
