  1. I do like the promo because the synopsis for next week sounded like something from Month 2...which was a slow (if character building) month.
  2. I am sorry to hear that for Tristan.
  3. Yep. One thing that I've enjoyed over this past weekend has been love it/hate it/don't care about it, Martin's Secret on BTG DOES have people talking. Meanwhile, Y&R is getting serious (and well-deserved) side-eye. Same. Love the actor, but a sad sack after months of how quirky, but powerful 'Dumas' is not the way to go. Hehe TSJ's version of Tucker was more cunning. TASTE.
  4. You know what...Dani/Vanessa are friend goals. lol.
  5. 7-14 Oooo so I was right about Grace finally getting a storyline off of that Next Week/This Week promo!!! Lord... I thought last week was pretty good. Not helped by CBS being at it again with their player. I still wouldn't be surprised if Luna turned up alive. It is Li after all. Though it is funny to see Li dragging Poppy over Luna given how Li has been about that whole branch of her family. But perhaps she's being this way because well... Liam still ain't dead yet? Le sigh. I did like how the week has started. Though I wasn't expecting a gang-up on Bill. I mean...I get it. But wow at that. And Ridge is the LAST person to be saying anything to anyone about anything. Shut up, Dressmaker! And awww at Bill finding out about Liam dying. Assuming he is dying...
  6. I've been waiting for you to post on in. And that was worth the wait. Also love you are a Nicole lover. Now that we have gotten to the reveal and the fallout is about to start, that is part of the story that I'm really looking forward to because I feel the show has done a good job of establishing Jacob and his relationship with his father (as well as teased other family members) that I want to see how he reacts to the news. I disagree, but I think I get what you mean if that makes sense. This comment makes me think of how I felt on Friday's episode where if it was a Thursday episode...it would have been fine. And the episode WAS good. However, Thursday's episode itself was a Thursday episode, allowing for character beats to be played and a bit of catch-up, so Friday felt a bit redundant to me. And then in the overall scheme of the week, Friday's episode came off really weak, off, and a little flat. It was just there. Of course, I haven't rewatched it yet so I might change my mind. And PS. Disagree in general about the beat playing...easy to avoid as well if the disagreement over that is going to be triggering.
  7. Now you hush. 😜 I agree. That was one thing that always defined her character throughout all the different people that played her so sad to see it not a part of her. I would be here for that and I know she would bring it as NuSasha if/when she comes back.
  8. And like I said he STILL had more interactions with his mama than he did with his father. Yes, I'm aware that he saw her 2 times versus the 1 time he saw his dad, but still true.
  9. Yeah, I feel that. While I love Laura and most of the family...when it comes to Lulu...yeah, I...love to hate? hehe. Cuz poor Georgie. And even with her back, I love how Alexia plays her even when I want to shake her. But most of the time, I don't like Lulu.
  10. Oh this dialogue!!! lol. Jacob is these pants...MMMmmm. That said...it's sad watching everyone closing ranks and freezing Jacob out. Typical good guy hero stuff. Aww. The pictures. The flashbacks...again seeing some of that pre-secret Martin. So BC is playing a little bit different. Good coda. And next week looks good since the synopsis for next week made it look like a good, but meh week outside of Nicole on a warpath. To be fair, they showed more of Martin with his mama more than they ever do with his father. Same. So many layers going on in their confrontation.
  11. Awwww not this rift between Smitty and Jacob. Oh, no! Samantha is eavesdropping. I mean when Nicole says it like that. lol. THAT was a soapy moment.
  12. Wooooow!!! She's FINALLY leaving now that she's kinda relevant. Oh, well. Bye. Should have done it before they made her related to Holly.
  13. Yeeeah I am liking it in and of itself. They are playing beats so that I can respect. But overall so far, it feels very much like a Thursday episode...and Thursday did a good job of that already. So it's odd for a Friday. Liking this reveal scene. I was shocked that Anita jumped when Nicole shot up. I jumped. And oh...we are going there by calling it what it is! Go 'head, BTG! It's been a minute since a soap here in the states have touched on something tropical. And now Anita is getting into it with Nicole. More for TT's Emmy reel.
  14. I like these scenes with Smitty and Samantha. It's almost like the writers were aware of how the result might be once we got the reveal so they are showing all sides for those who don't get why Smitty would be mad regardless of why Martin did it. Well-played. HAHAHAHAHA! ANITA, NOT A HOT TODDY!!!! Hmmm...why would Jacob's Father want that footage?
  15. Oooo at the tension in this scene between Nicole and Anita while Nicole is gathering everyone in the room.
  16. COME THUR, HURRICANE NICOLE!!! lol. Starting...
  17. Wow. You all are going in. LOL!!! I can't wait to catch up reading. I did want to say now that the board is back that I LOVE yesterday's episode. It really flew by which surprised me. And Nicole as the cliffhanger (not to mention those great Vanessa/Nicole scenes) was the chef's kiss. Can't wait for today. You're not alone on that.
  18. And the funny thing is...in the current soapscape, he would fit over there.
  19. CBS gotta kiss that ring.
  20. Yeah, that Mercury Retrograde is no joke. But seriously, thank you, Errol, for going the extra mile.
  21. I think that's where I'm currently sitting as well. We'll see how I feel once I do a rewatch.
  22. The murder mystery lives on. She doesn't. However, I was pointing out specific scenes that I was watching recently where BK was giving more than she normally does though my opinion might vary because I do think BK is a good actress when she's given something to work with and sometimes in spite of the slanted writing she tends to get ie: the Heather storyline. I think he does. Because that was part of the subtext I got from the scenes I watched where Portia was calling him out in. And for all her faults, Portia felt dead on to me. And I haven't cheered for her in a looong while.
  23. Were the car scenes plain? Yeah. But I felt it established for sure how pre-secret Martin was. And it was nice to see a different Martin and I thought BC did a good job of that.
